Hi Ed

Not been on in a while, glad to see the Hoops are coming to Norwich to play Lambo's lot. I moved to Norwich for work this past November do well looking forward to a 5 minute walk instead of a 7 hour drive to a game.

Hope we bring first team and a good crowd. Norwich a top city for a good night.

CeltStu {Ed007's Note - I'm sure there will be plenty of fans going down, people have been looking for tickets already.}

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Can u recommend any good pubs mate

Agree0 Disagree0

There are tons of great pubs in the city the area around a pub called Murderers is good on a night out, in the City centre there are hundreds of bars. Near the stadium is a place called Riverside complex which has around 5 pubs/bars. A lot of football fans use the complete angler which is next to the train station and you have the coach and horses there as well these two are 5 minute walk from the ground. One thing Ive found down here in Norwich is the fans are all really friendly.

Hope this helps

I'd like to see Celtic make a few singings in the summer starting with Fraser Forster, I'd like to see us sell ki and get cairney from hull city, get a third striker even If the board do need to spend 7mil as hooper & stokes basically know they are starting every week. Is there anybody we are linked with?

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Why do you think we should sign cairney?

Agree0 Disagree0

Who's Cairney ? ......DH {Ed007's Note - Tom Cairney plays in MF for Hull City.}

Agree0 Disagree0

We should try to sign scottish players like
Daly and russell after all we are the
greatest team in scotland. hail hail

Agree0 Disagree0

I would keep Ki and if we got a decent offer for Hooper I'd let him go

Agree0 Disagree0

John daly is irish...

Agree0 Disagree0

I know Hooper and Stokes have made a major contribution to our season and helped win many games. But it is also apparent that they can go missing in big games and sometimes their attitude could be better. So I would welcome at least one (better class of striker) replacement and a midfield clear-out of deadwood.

Russell

Agree0 Disagree0

Bring in george boyd of peterborough if thats how u spell it quality striker and has knocked back a contract extension

PADDYBHOY

Agree0 Disagree0

George Boyd is a left winger and has scored 6 goals this season, which isn't what we expect of a striker at Celtic. Someone like Russell would be a good addition. He's a good player in an average team, think of the improvement he would make at Celtic. Not to mention he can play winger as well.

Chad

Agree0 Disagree0

Still scored more from the wing than sammy scores from anywhere though would love to see rhodes but thats defo a no go heel stay down south

PADDYBHOY

Agree0 Disagree0

I believe the board will try to make a few pound through transfers this summer.

ki and hooper could both be for the off.

i would be happy with johnny russell as a replacement. doubt we will be signing any players over the 2million mark

Agree0 Disagree0

Paddybhoy your constant in your criticism of big Sam ...I can see now why .. your knowledge of godd footballers is questionable with some of your suggestions . TTTS

Agree0 Disagree0

Hooper,Commons and , Ki will likely be the big name players moving on over the summer along with fringe players PMc Court ,Mc Ginn etc etc allowing for a few pounds to balance the books and a few fresh faces .

Hi ed not posted in a while, wee question, how can the shame apply for a European licence for next year after being told they have no chance?is there a loophole?
Hoodbhoy {Ed007's Note - They can apply HB, it doesn't mean that they will get it, they can't.}

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Its b****cks, they were told last week by the SFA and UEFA that they will not be allowed to apply for a license. More lies for the SHAME to slaver over.......Gerrybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

My understanding is that every thing aside, they can not play in Europe unless they pay everthing owed for Jelavic. This looks like PR to me

PS and the money for Celik

Rangers Tax Case site up and running again with a new blog.

No wonder the other Mob have been lead blindly over all the years. Check this from the BBC Website

Headline: "Kennedy Rejoins Ranger Bid Race"
Narrative: "Brian Kennedy is expected..."

Headline: "Rangers Reject Offer"
Narrative: "...BBC Scotland understands"

Headline: "Ticketus in £17m Gers debt plan"
Narrative: "Blue Knights consortium believe a deal has been broadly..." {Ed007's Note - A few of them got rather uncomfortable as the day wore on and their PR inspired web of lies unravelled.}

Believable3 Unbelievable4

The Scottish Media are rather amazing creatures. They get hald a soundbite from Rangers PR people and they're reaching for their keyboards to see which one of them can get the "good news" out first, without any though of trying to coroborate what they have been told.

You'd think they'd have learned from Channel 4'2 Alex Thomson by now.

What did Alex do, well quire simple really, he phoned Craig Whyte for his reaction to events and this is waht Alex reported:

"First off, he (Whyte) describes the story flying around Glasgow, that he has agreed to sell his 85 per cent stake in Rangers to Paul Murray, as “absolute crap”.

He said this was not about to happen and reiterated his point, made to me some days ago, that he is not about to walk away from Rangers without the 30m he is owed for his stake. "

Jungle Bhoy.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

So does this mean we will lift the cup after the shame game if we beat Killie on Sat? {Ed007's Note - No, the last game of the season seems the most likely.}

Agree0 Disagree0

To the non believers GIRUY as i have the fixtures in my hand.I suppose you have someone elses fixtures in your hands?

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

If we r champs we should b given the trophy at the next home game the fans and the players deserve it f#ck the sfa.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think these ko's are terrible. The youngest plays football on a Sunday morning and I am one of the coaches. He had to miss his game at the weekend and now misses more games due to cup semi and now these early ko's. Will have to think twice about season books for next season, as too many Sunday lunchtime games.

I find it hard to understand some Rangers fans joy at the ticketus/blue knights merger.Keith Jackson, that well known factually economic reporter, seems to be bracing himself for another warchest moment.Couple of questions though. Why would any company write off 17m in these harsh financial times? After writing off such a large amount why would they then lend Rangers another 10m?(the interest figures would be interesting to see)And the best yet, they will accept payments in "dribs n drabs" depending on euro money gained. All this before the findings of the tax case!Seems pretty clear the Record has lined up behind the merged bid.Jackson then states that tying up the biggest players would become the priority, really Keith? I doubt many Rangers fans will swallow this puff piece but you never know.............green jhedi

Believable12 Unbelievable4

It'll be interesting to see how much power the management team have when it comes to keeping hold of players. surely as 'assets' they would be sold by the administrators. what'll be more interesting is how much determination the likes of mcgregor, naismith, davis etc have to stay themselves. on another note i really hope celtic don't penny pinch in the summer given the financial crisis at rangers. bringing in two or three more quality youngsters and a 'knock-off' bit of experience for europe is essential.

Agree0 Disagree0

As usual keith is suspending belief and asking us to believe in fairies, santa claus and benevolent venture capatilists

Agree0 Disagree0

Bill Ng has links to Octopus/ticketus through his patent on smart cards and all bidders have been offered the Ticketus deal every thing linKs back to OCTOPUS and only way they would be intrusted is if they had a money maker in mind AEG concerts or FOX soccer (compulsory sports package) or worst case scenario both

I see George Boyd of peterborough has rejected a new deal and will be on transfer list in the summer do you think he would be worth a punt and do a job for the hoops?
Hobbybhoy

Believable11 Unbelievable13

As long as he didn't mind warming the bench - i'd have him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Love to see him up top with hooper and stokes and let sammy go hes a quality striker who could bang them in up heer

PADDYBHOY

Agree0 Disagree0

No Watched him a few times (Sister lives in Peterbough) his is lazy and has an inflated opinion of his talent. Would not get in the team by a long chalk

Celtic are in a three way battle to sign middlesburgh right back Tony McMahon out of contract end of season Ipswich and Bristol city keen as well my source is tony McMahon snr friends of family p.s tony McMahon snr was born in Glasgow so boy could play for Scotland

Believable1 Unbelievable14

Why would celtic need another right back?

Agree0 Disagree0

How many right backs do we need?

Agree0 Disagree0

We making a team of rb's next season?

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think Cha will be getting his contract renewed and unless Mark Wilson can stay fit he will be heading out aswell.

Agree0 Disagree0

Still would have matthews and lustig on books need a striker a good defender an a playmaker

Agree0 Disagree0

I would keep Mark Wilson. I thought he was excellent last season, although injured again for most of this season. Get rid of Cha, which leaves Matthews and Lustig for right back, with Wilson as cover. He can also play anywhere in defence and offers experience to a young squad, plus he's one of us and would pass this on to the new players. Two priorities for me are a striker and a creative midfielder. Apart from Commons, the other midfielders don't create anything for the strikers.

martin oneill is looking to take gary hooper to sunderland when bentdner leaves. Ki is being lined up as a replacement for cabaye if he leaves newcastle this summer and samaras is wanted by fiorentina

Believable14 Unbelievable14

Haha
ok,
now go back to the other page and worry about your own team...

Agree0 Disagree0

So Hooper 10 million Ki 5 million Sammi 5 million yeah lets do it

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle want izaguirre, hooper, kayal, brown and wanyama if rumours in newcastle are to be believed though. sunderland wouldn't be able to afford hooper unless they recieve significant money. fiorentina have been linked with samaras for ages now but just like any other side they'll not get anybody on the cheap.
