any truth ed in the rumours that bangura is on his way out {Ed001's Note - I haven't heard anything about it, though, if it is a recent development, I have been a bit busy over the last day or two to keep up with much to be fair.}

Believable13 Unbelievable15

Be no great loss, hasn't exactly set the heather on fire, are we sure henrik recommended him? Know hes scored in bounce games but for price we paid he should be better,

Agree0 Disagree0

Only signed the guy in August think he should be given a chance to play before hes written off!

Agree0 Disagree0

Give the guy a chance, he hasn't played a run of games yet as hooper, stokes & samaras have all done really well ! He will get his chance & I think he will take it. He looks really strong & quick. I have spoken to some of the guys he played against in the bounce games & they said at times he was un

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry un playable the last post was meant to say

Agree0 Disagree0

He will most likley start against peterhead nxt wk,,,ano ther no the best team but it will give us a glimpse of wot he is capable of

Agree0 Disagree0

His first touch is rank rotten, reminds me of beattie, and for a striker to have a poor first touch, you might as well not bother playing.

summed up in the killie game when he tried to control the ball inside the box dropping to him, ball ended up 15 yards away. i say cut our losses now

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye and every1 that come to celtic starts off amazing banging the goals in, did i hear Larsson? Hartson?

Agree0 Disagree0

Although he scored 2 against morton in bounce game, one of the morton players told me he was poor overall. He'll not get into our team.

Agree0 Disagree0

At least larsson and hartson looked like players and had a good first touch, i've seen absolutely nothing of bangura to even suggest he is a professional footballer

Agree0 Disagree0

Id get rasmussen back and give him a chance! he never got a run and did score in the games he started! i really think he could really do us a job! what everyone else think? as for bangura am not convinced at all by him!

Agree0 Disagree0

Larsson had world cups behind him and hartson a good scoring record at arsenal, west ham etc, if bangura was any good he, d be doing it in training , he's had long enough to prove himself, would rather have Paul George in the team , cut losses quickly , no better than daryl murphy or killen,

Agree0 Disagree0

How do u know hes not doin it in training? how long is long enough to prove yourself? hes doing it in bounce games, which with our forwards current form is all he can do, dont write off a guy thats had 10 15 20 mins of games, he needs consistency and that comes from playing ala Mr Mccourt. despise fans writing players off without getting a proper chance, were you one of those 'fans' calling for Lennons head during the bad run? have a word with yourself!

Agree0 Disagree0

For 2 mill plus hes played 8 plus games and not scored, i for one cant wait til he does

Agree0 Disagree0

Played 8 games, which equates to 10, 15 20 mins here and there not starts, how can you possibly write off someone on that basis? im sticking with him to prove himself, as the scouting system so far seems to producing the goods, kayal, wanyama, mathews, izzy, hooper!

Agree0 Disagree0

Could see him going out on loan. Needs game time and not likely to get it here IMO...

Straight fight between Celtic and rangers for David cooper templeton!

Believable23 Unbelievable24

Well there should only be one winner then! I assume from this that commons on his way out? No point in having templeton if he ain't getting a chance cause he's a good wee player.

Agree0 Disagree0

If its a straight fight then there will only be one winner because rangers are skint. would love him at celtic park on opposite flank to forrest

Agree0 Disagree0

Think rangers have the upper hand as they will get £10m for jelavic!

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic mad when younger even with his middle name

Agree0 Disagree0

Templetons a celtic man so he'll take the higher pay and play for the team he supports win win

Agree0 Disagree0

No straight fight at all ?

No one has made an offer for him, although a few english teams shoing intrest

Rangers can not afford his value unless Jelavic

FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

10 mill jelavic ask hodgson and moyes

Agree0 Disagree0

Really have to laugh at the deluded ones here....where exactly is this 10m valuation of jellyfish come from?

it's been virtually proven that whyte lied about the so-called 'last minute bid' of 9m, and from this seasons performances, i definitely would not agree that his value has risen, if anything it's dropped like a stone....take the games that matter into account, cos thats what prospective buyers are doing.

guys worth 4m tops

Agree0 Disagree0

So jelavic is worth £4m and izaguirre is worth £10m...

Who are you calling deluded lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right if jelavic is worth 4 million then izzy must be worth 35 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers will come out at the end of january with tempelton on there wing as whyte has said he will give ally money!

Agree0 Disagree0

Craig whyte will give ally the boaby not money ! We shall not be moved ! Cheers for my grand mcbookie....they gave me odds of 50/1 in november for Celtic to be top of the league by the end of the year ! Easy money !!

Agree0 Disagree0

Rangers wont have money from the jelavic deal he will go to west brom for cash plus dorrans and money will go in bank!! Fact

Agree0 Disagree0

Any truth in signed the wrong bangura there was 2 brothers played in sweden

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelavic isnt worth £10 million and to compare izaguirre being worth £10m compared to jelavic is a bit unfair. Eangers sold Hutton for £ 9 million and izaguirre is better than him, just like hooper is better than Jelavic

Agree0 Disagree0

Whyte has said a lot of things but nothings came true yet youse are skint and use have been used by whyte get your heads out of the sand and accept it SKINT

Agree0 Disagree0

"So jelavic is worth £4m and izaguirre is worth £10m..."

yes, and the reason being is that firstly, Izzy has been playing at a consistently high level since he arrived, whereas jelly has gone backwards.
secondly, celtic don't need to sell, so they can value the player at whatever they see fit, whereas you need all the money you can get your hands on, and every club in europe knows this, therefore you are in no position to tell anyone what they should pay......and that my deluded little bear, is how it works:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Well that will be the first world class name ever on your team sheet.david cooper

Agree0 Disagree0

Trust me lads , Templeton going South of the border.

Old Firm life style is not for him .

Cardiff will sign him

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic don't need him, let him sign for Rangers they need all the help they can get

Agree0 Disagree0

Hooper is NOT better than Jelavic

TonyTheGer

Agree0 Disagree1

Izzy been playing consistantly high... the guy hasnt kicked a ball this season, he had a good first season but so did kayal and commons who both have fallen from grace... lets see if izzy gets bk to form and proves it in europe, where teams will be a tougher test

Agree0 Disagree0

For a guy whos not kicked a ball he is on 8/9 assists this season? Only steve davis has more !

gary hooper wants to continue his career at celtic and is very keen to get a new deal with the club. Diawarra looks to be like a potential target after interest in the summer but the fee for the striker seem to be on the increase whith a 2.5 million bid form monoco rejected! carlos cuellar is reportedly sparked interest at parkhead but i cant see a deal being made there, jordan rhodes doesnt look to be for sale in january and will not come to celtic in the summer, best bets are west ham or bolton! also Rafik Halliche of fulham and Wes Morgan of Nottingham forrest are reportadly seing some interest from mr lennon!

Believable10 Unbelievable12

What about st ledger from Leicester now he's been transfer listed? I think he would be a good shout and not likely to cost much

Agree0 Disagree0

Baba diawara's price hasnt increased because celtic have first option on him and should bid around 3 million, as far as i mind that was the fee that was agreed in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

It was but his club hav decided 2 scrap the first option deal as it was not in writing and alot of clubs r showing interest,,,so it will b a case of whose willing 2 pay the most so a cant c us getting involved in a bidding war

Agree0 Disagree0

No way celtic will get in a bidding war, its not as though the guys record is amazing hes scored 44 goals since 2008? not exactly setting the heather on fire is it!

Agree0 Disagree0

What is all this b.s with diawara. In the end Celtic will not go for him coz they are to stingy to pay over 3m for a player

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not that they are too stingy but Celtic have a budget too and also have their own valuation of each player, this guys record this season is the best hes ever produced so far, maybe celtic dont wanna spend more than their valuation of a player based on 1 good season!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yea and rangers aint stingy at all hence why they are now in the predicament they are in, it's all good spending 4 million on average player's but stop whinging when it bites you on the ar5e!

templeton to sign in the next week as commons heads south along with paddy.sandaza also being looked at

Believable17 Unbelievable22

When u say Paddy r u referring to McCourt? I think the lad has 2 move as he's getting no playing time, pity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe sandaza could be interesting rangers but templeton wont be coming to celtic and commens will probably remain at the club!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure I'd be keen on sandaza - having a good season but would rather have templeton

Agree0 Disagree0

Paddy (mccourt) cash in now as never likely to get a game, templeton only if commons leaves, sandaza = no

Agree0 Disagree0

Lot of s**te as hes not even spoke to anyone from Celtic

Agree0 Disagree0

Commons is goin no were (fact) he has said he loves playing under lennon and the fans are his best freind

Heard on Twitter Baba Diawara could be on his way to panathinaikos. they have a portugese coach and been invested in by arabs.

St Ledger has been transfer listed after a bust-up with manager. Watch this space as NL was after him.

fatbhoy67.HH.

Believable10 Unbelievable21

No chance he is getting 20k a week too much to pay an unproven player!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean unproven? He's an Irish international and part of the team that qualified for the upcoming euros. Don't think he is unproven and I'd be happy to have him at the celts

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Dec 2011 10:33:34
Forrest could be off to tottenham and then we would move for templeton plus about 7 million in bank

Believable11 Unbelievable21

Young James would be best to stay till at least the end of next season, continue his development and gain more experience at European and International level IMHO

Agree0 Disagree0

Although Tempelton is a very good player I feel, at this moment in time, he couldn't lace Forrests boots. IMO

JGD

Agree0 Disagree0

Harry redknapp already said he doesn't need forrest and no bids will be made by him bt i admit wee davie is a great player

Agree0 Disagree0

Templeton is p**h

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be a great bit of business IMO!

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd agree that forest should stay put and keep developing here at celts. If he keeps going the way he is he'll get a big money move in a couple of years

Ed has there been any contact with aldo de nigris since the summer NL says strong and tall are what he's lookin for wadda ya think?

love te site HH {Ed001's Note - nothing, the fact that he is not a young lad seems to be putting off the bids, hence why he openly talked up interest during the summer.}

Believable2 Unbelievable9

Why are people going on about this guy hardly scored a goal in his life. Check his stats, on a par wae samaras or even worse

Agree0 Disagree0

2002–2007 Tigres 86 (9) 2007–2008 Veracruz 28 (7) 2008 Necaxa 8 (0) 2009 → Monterrey (loan) 38 (16) 2010– Monterrey 47 (14)

How could this guy improve us :/ doesn't score enough

Agree0 Disagree0

Aldo De Nigris creates space for others, it seems that he doesn't score enough, but when he gets a chance he usually slots it, also he is not the main figure striker at monterrey, Chupete Suazo is. So given a chance I think De Nigris could help a team like Celtic or even a mid table la liga or EPL team.

Wee rumour about Kevin Davies of Bolton coming to celtic, would certainly add a physical element to the forward line

Believable9 Unbelievable22

Any sources mate? I think short term he'd be ideal

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take him in a min, doubt it tho

Agree0 Disagree0

He'd be great up here for a year or two but really cant see it,

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take him in a second

Agree0 Disagree0

Would not take him if he was free to old

Agree0 Disagree0

Would give us another dimension but wages will scupper any deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not good enough give bangura a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Bolton fan here- we won't let him go as there's still life in the old dog and our current strikers can't find the back of the net
