Hope it doesn't come back to bite RD on the a**e!! What more does wee griffiths have to do! The boy must be raging! Like I said, just hope we don't regret it!

Griffiths has many qualities but starting up front alone in Europe is not one of them, as proven at home to Salzburg and Inter where the game passed him by on both occasions. This team are dangerous so playing patient possession football is what the plan will be tonight. Ciftci is better suited to this type of game as he brings other players into play as he holds the ball up well. Griffiths could run their tired legs ragged in the last 20 minutes. Trust Ronny's judgement!

This is RD giving NC his chance as he bought him in, he has to stand by him.

I have to say its the wrong call but we are all looking for NC to get up and running with goals and he is not going to do that sitting on the bench is he.???
So let's get behind the guy.

Agree with comments regarding Griffiths not getting a start - hopefully we will be proved wrong but can not understand what the guy has to do.

I'm pretty dismayed aswell but it seems obviouse rd is planning on Cifci ruffing up the defence then bringing on LG early 1st half, could work but hope it doesn't come back to haunt us. Keep the faith

It's decisions like this that come back and bite us all the time see if the wee man decides he wants away you can't blame him I don't know what else he has to do. Has he got something against him has he done something i'd be gutted if he was to be driven out the team.

LG should have started it really is that simple, I hope RD realises soon these are not the games to introduce new players

RD said LG was up all last night with tooth ache, that's why he didn't start.

I now like to think LG will start the return game and we will hit them from the kickoff. Can't try to hold this one goal lead against this side on their own ground. Although personally, I have never bought in to the home and away mentality except for goals away counting double in the event of a draw. It's 90 minutes on the park. Yes the support gives an edge but these are professional players who should be able to give it their best home or away. How many times have we and other Scottish teams been glorious also ranks while teams playing on Scottish ground have turned clubs over? its my personal opinion and I respect that managers, coaches and fans may see it differently. I don't accept or agree. I also think we will qualify in the end. Hail Hail

Our final ball was poor all night and our passing was sloppy and careless all night , we gave the ball away cheaply too often , the service to Ciftci was not good enough although he doesn't look like he has the pace to play up front on his own at CL level , I thought GMS and Johansen were pretty much anonymous last night with Forrest not much better when he came on , we need to play a lot better next week to guarantee qualification .

I'm in Singapore and.? It is what it is. I do give the price of my ticket to a local charity (daily bread) which, to me anyway, fits in with the charitable side of Celtic. I know it goes to those who need it as I help with distribution. Hail Hail
