Celtic scouts were in attendance for Tranmere Rovers' match against Northampton Town yesterday taking a look at Max Power, according to a website.

The central midfielder's performances this season have impressed the Scottish champions so much that they are contemplating a January move.

Power's contract at Prenton Park expires in the summer and it is thought that he could be available at a cut price in the new year because his current club don't want to risk losing him on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old has scored nine goals in 30 appearances for Tranmere this season and he is considered to be ready to make a step up to a higher level.

This boys destined for big things he would be very cheap considering he plays in league 2 and his contact is up in summer hope we make an attempt

I see paper talk is that we are looking at Cifci, if that`s the case, does it give credence to the thought that we are not getting JG? and that we already have a few strikers?

thoughts?

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Cifci is a far superior all round player on the odd occasion when he decides to turn up like he did against us when he ran the show. We have no equally skilled player.

Doubt we will meet asking price any way.

Agree0 Disagree1

They won't let any of their players go for cheap mid season when they are on our tails still at Christmas we may as well punt Pukki Fridjonsson and Balde as neither are prolific enough and will only be on the bench in this formation wasting wages for deadwood

Agree0 Disagree0

Spot on cujimmy if he more than £500,000 we can forget it

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is Cifci? Why does everyone abbreviate these days? What happened to the good old days when we wrote the whole word?

Hail Hail (HH for some)

:(

Agree0 Disagree1

Nadir Cifci is a striker for Dundee Utd he scored against us the other game. Cifci and Armstrong had been priced at 6m anyway so can't see that happening in Jan

Agree0 Disagree0

Ciftci!
poster spells name wrong and everyone else who quotes his name follows now that is a lot of rubbish lol
a.s.

Agree0 Disagree0

You saw in the paper that celtic were showing an interest in ciftci, that's what the press do, they name half a dozen or so players that celtic are interested in, and when they don't arrive at celtic park, the press have a go at you and the fans start slagging the board. THe only thing true in press is the date.killy.

Celtic scouted Nadir Cifci with the view of making a January bid. Celtic are also interested in Dundee United's Stuart Armstrong as

Believable11 Unbelievable7

Take them both, Cifti wasn't sure when people used to say about him but something there, Armstrong I've praised this bhoy on here for as long as I've been a member, with the exception of brown best midfielder in country. Aye we will see what Liewell offers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Be around 4 million for the pair. No way we will spend that unless we pull in at least that from player sales. If Van Dike stays in January and we spend 3 million on gudetti then I will be gobsmacked if PL allows any more money to be spent. Markie

Agree0 Disagree0

Scouts were at tranmere game yesterday watching lad Power, out of contract end of season don't know much about lad but we will get him cheap so we can forget Armstrong, honestly Lawell & Desmond just not liking the guys at all the now

Agree0 Disagree0

Was meant to say as well as Ciersniak as his contract runs out in the summer, I'd prefer him to Randolph as back up. Power is a good young player would like him and Armstrong as well as Cifci and get rid of Kayal, Berget, Balde, Pukki, Fridjonsson, Maybe even Boerrigter as they're never going to get a game that's be a good window for us
