He's just been released by Villa and I've just heard he may be coming in as backup.

Think the deal that most people are hearing is that we get O'Shea plus £xM for Izaguirra.

I heard player plus £2M but have heard 3 and 4 being mentioned on various other sites.

According to Newsnow site Neil Lennon has thrown his hat into the mix for John o'Shea. Sunderland made a triple big involving him and if he becomes available Neil would be interested.

Be a great signing but as theirs plenty of Premierleague teams after him its going to be a case of offered wages better than what we can offer. Also says Wanyama signing will be finalized within 48hrs.

Hi ed just after reading the Irish daily star and it says that Celtic have joint the race for john o Shea. Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - I have said before that his versatility would be an asset to any team, TBH I am surprised AF is happy to let him leave Utd for this reason. Obviously his wages could be a stumbling block but I think he would be a great player up here and he brings bags of experience with him as well}

God i hope the rumours are wrong.
He's slower than an oil tanker with its brakes on.
