I’ve got to agree with ed there. Charlie musonda in the SPL will tear teams apart. probs have no option to buy tho Bhoys but if it’s an 18 month loan he will definitely get bums off seats. just that wee spark wee need right now.

"His attitude needs a bit of a trim but staying fit and getting games would be welcome. He has suffered with his fitness but the club like him, but he needs to know when to pass otherwise he will end up like Ruben Loftus-Cheek."

Haha. With then news coming out today that Gordon could be back playing in a couple of months surely BR will bring in a back up keeper rather than 1st choice bearing in mind he brought De Vrise in?

Is there a kid on option to buy like the Edouard deal. We all know Celtic won’t pay 7 million for him even if he did bang in the goals.

Musonda heard good things but what kind of price would he command?

To be honest Kev, Musonda is a step up from any other prospect we have apart from Ajer. Musonda is a quality player that would be in the first team for any mid table epl side. I don't care if he's a loan or not, he's a quality player that i hope can add that creativity we've been lacking.

Kev He would be a min of £7mill maybe as much as £12 mill. So when posters start talking about Moussa being a £20mill player have a look at this guy. Better than Moussa.

I think everyone would rather we signed players permanently but the way I look at it is:

1. Could we pay the price Chelsea would want for him? No
2. Is he better than what we have and will improve our team? Yes
3. Could we buy a player of his quality from another team/ league? Probably not

He’s like Roberts. As long as he helps us win games and trophies and improve in Europe then I couldn’t care less if he’s only on loan. 18 months is a good period to get him for too.

If Musonda reaches his full potential we will have a very special talent at paradise. The way we sell good players on and don’t properly reinvest doesn’t it matter if we buy him? A year and a half will boost the squad quality.

Dembele is a prime example of how long we are able to hold on to a top quality young player. Ad say 2 seasons at most before a team from down south sniffing around. So if we get a top quality loan player like paddy or Musonda then I have no problem with it but our team should never be full of them.
We should always try our best to have options to buy them as well.

If we indeed get him for 18 months, I will be delighted. It's the way of the world for clubs short of the folding stuff and even shorter on the will to spend it.

If he is half as good as Ed says he will be a brilliant addition.

As long as he doesn't spend his time singing about it I don't care.

I checked the boy out and he certainly looks as if he has a future in the game.

If all goes well tomorrow, he should go straight in against the wee Huns, but I bet you Rogers will play Mcgreggor instead and bring him on about 60mins after McG has done less than feck all.

I hope he won't do that but I think it's on the cards.

Celtic have made an enquiry to liverpool over the availability of Danny Ward. Not sure if it's a loan or permanent transfer but this week could see Ward, Musonda and possibly another CB in the Door busyblast few days?

Guys with Gordon's injury, I fear a lot of our transfer budget will be diverted now to signing a goalkeeper. A decent goalie AND Musonda and I would be happy with the players we have soon returning from injury hail hail.

Musonda just signed a 5 year deal, there won’t be an option to buy in any loan as we’re struggling to agree an 18 month loan.
