Newcastle are being linked to Celtic full back Emilio Izaguirre and Swansea left back Neil Taylor who they tried to sign in the summer. Taylor is the number one target but Izaguirre is on Pardews radar should a bid for Taylor fail. Newcastle can offer both players far in excess of their current wage.

Although Pardew may be able to offer a higher wage, will he be able to meet Celtics evaluation of the player? Considering what he got for a player who was second top scorer in the championship to Hooper, then this should not be a problem £12M
Agree0
Disagree0
What Newcastle offer Izaguirre means nothing he signed a new 5 year deal after he broke his leg . Celtic won't let him go unless they get an offer that they are willing to accept.
Teams being intrested in him means nothing unless celtic are happy with the bid and 4 or 5 million aint enough as his old club will receive 30 per cent of his next transfer.

Newcastle can't afford izzy
Agree0
Disagree0
Lol, newcastle can't afford him, he's worth 4m at the most, the fact is, newcastle don't want him.
But all celtic fans please continue with your humorous valuations. At least the rangers fans' valuations are realistic, e.g 10m jelavic
Agree0
Disagree0
How is £10m a realistic valuation for jelvic? based on what? it was quoted that a bid of £6.5m from QPR was put forward and rejected but that was last season, if anything his value has gone down, especially on recent performances!
