Forster is terrible at the moment a few good saves today yes but he could have saved Lustig's header and the 2nd one. He should be dropped imo make him work for his place give Zaluska a run in the team and Lennon needs to stop favouring Mulgrew worst game I've seen Mulgrew play in a Celtic shirt was today. You are absolutely spot on foster goes down in installments and for the size of him he should be commanding his six yard box more efficently he is beaten to easily for a 6 foot 7 inches strap of a man the holly goalie was the best bring him back any day if the rest of the players showed the same commitment and desire as young tony watt we would be more efficent and win more games we need to sign a leader and I mean a great leader who is going to inspire theese young players to sweat every last bit of energy defending is a art and we still have to master it john kennedy should be promoted to help our defending in every department from forwards to defence hail hail

Forster is the best keeper we have had since simpson and he is going to get better with age. boruc was a calamity who took celtic fans for granted. leonbhoy

Randolf of Motherwell is looking better and better. Thought before he may have been getting luck, but is now starting to look like a great young lad to have between the sticks!

He's a great keeper! How can you blame him for the goals yesterday! Absolute joke of a post, we are the champions!!kevbhoy88

Agree0 Disagree0

Really bad yesterday. Mulgrew was woeful. So was Kayal and Wanyama. Well were up for it. We were not. Is this how it is going to be till the end of the season? I remember when we won early under WGS - there was about 6 games left and we were torture to watch. What these team selections tell me is the "fringe " players are not good enough - they should be shipped out.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sould be shipped out, never left a name so don't know who i'm debating with?, the problem is you have got to play them so other team's can see if they are worth a bid, apart from Tony Watt don't think you would have got a bid for anyone.

I see Wolves are in the relegation zone again. If they were to go down, would any of you like to see any of their players at Celtic Park?

I would love to see the boy Sako at parkhead. Excellent player. He will not be short of offers though and I don't know how much Wolves would want for him. If we got Sako and Gary mackay Stevens we'd be sorted on the creative front. Fergiebhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Griffths as back up maybe I'd prefer Russell than him personally and I think Russell could be first team material but I pray we don't sign Kevin Doyle just because he's Irish doesn't mean he has to play for Celtic lol passed him prime and would be about as useful as Sammy if not worse. Griffth's would defo be a Derek Riordan GhreenBhoy1888

Doyle - no
berra - no
Griffiths - no

that answer your question on wolves?
Guess thsat was who u were referring to

What would their wages be? Only one worth looking at is Sako Forget the rest. We need quality. Which is very hard to get without paying a fortune. Tell Lenny the only player who deserves to be on player of year list is Commons. The rest have been not bad to mediochre for most of the season giving you a good game every so often which is good enough for our league. High piont was CL games. Players were up for it. Fact is no rangers to keep us on out toes which I have accepted cause they deserve to be where they are. But we still miss the edge like it or not!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about any of the Wolves players to be honest but know we sniffed about Kevin Doyle in January. One player who seems to fallen off the radar there is Jamie O'Hara. He looked a great prospect and even rumblings of getting a call up to England squad at one point. Rumour was he was concidering changing allegiance to the Republic but nothing came of it and has since his career seems to have stalled. Not suggesting we go in for him at the moment as we are heavily laden in the midfield department but if a few leave he might be worth a wee look at.

Any idea why we keep chopping and changing our captain week in week out? Sooner Brown is back the better. Ian L

Nothing game today so not worth getting too agitated about, however if that today doesn't highlight how bad our defence is then I don't know what will.

Lustig was unlucky for the own goal so i'm not going to pick at that but Rogne shouldn't have been offered the contract he turned down, he's useless. Big Charlie had an off day and hasn't played in there for a while but still very poor. Izaguirre was given a nightmare by a player he absolutely silenced on his debut at fir park. We need to spend on Central defenders, no question about it. This team will never step up a level unless we do. Ambrose and Wilson are no good either, anyone with even an amateur level understanding of the game could see it.

And what has happened to Kayal? He is a shadow of the player he once was. When he gets the ball its like he's juggling a hot tattie. No confidence at all.

Believable15 Unbelievable4

Izzy got burned badly today. I would like to Gershon given a chance to show what he has. I have been saying all season that Kayal is not what we need. He doesnot offer anything special to the squad and I was shocked that he actually had a shot that hit its intended target. On a positive, I thought that Rogic showed flashes of skill that we hopefully see more of in the future. I agree that a solid defence is the foundation for our squad.

Tbh a think charlie has been off for months a don't know why he seems 2 be undroppable he's always in the startin 11 imo he's been really poor for a good while and needs a rest

Try telling the fans who travelled a distance today that it was a nothing game. Mulgrew has been shocking for months, and there was nothing unlucky about lustig, s own goal it was dreadful defending. We were bullied at all times and could quite easily have been beaten 5/6-1, and one more thing and I have said this before why is lennon making samaras
captain he can't motivate himself let alone the team. jimbhoy.

Agree1 Disagree0

Agree Ambrose is a bomb scare. Have said on here for the last few months Kayal is finished as far as I'm concerned, get rid of him ASAP. Disagree with you regarding Wilson, think a top notch centre half would bring the best out in him. Ian L

Agree0 Disagree1

No game should be a nothing game for Celtic. I paid a lot of money to travel to Motherwell today to watch that rubbish. AT

Agree0 Disagree0

Just seen match and its the rerun of most of our poor spl performences, nl clueless, defence is a shambles, midfield a joke kayal I would do better than him, do they not practice shooting at cp because its atrocious, I feel we need a new manager he's getting outfoxed by other managers, mulgrew is shocking and keeps getting played and it was a pen. I really don't fancy our chances in cup final he will get outfoxed there as well

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye very good mr Easdale. Foxy bingo.

Here lads remember that skit from chewin the fat "you've taken that too far" aye that's what I think of @6)'s post. Clown.

Agree 100% with post one with regards to us being bullied today, I've been saying for a year now on here that this is the softest Celtic team I have ever seen. As soon as any team gets in our faces, presses us hard and turns it up physically, we crumble. No one is willing to put there body on the line risking a knee or clatter into the back or kick in the ankles for the team. Soft touches! I also 100% agree with the sentiment about no game being a nothing game. I literally hate watching us being beaten, especially against a team with a bluenose in charge and a support singing abuse at our manager for 90 mins. We were pathetic today. Only Tony Watt got pass marks for me, his desire was noticeable and his direct approach caused Motherwell problems all day, not everything went for him but he never hid and kept running at them. I personally excuse Lustigs own goal, he was unlucky. Higdon was offside anyways and it shouldn't have counted.

I'm also glad Lennon came out after the game and distanced us from signing McFadden. I couldn't stand seeing him in a Celtic jersey after turning us down twice in the past. I would never accept it or him at Celtic park.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd really love Kayal to kick it in to gear again - can't see it. Like Paddy, he must lack confidence or something, not getting the starts he feels he deserves.

I think post number 6 is spot on. We were mince. Plus McCall would have been on the blower to his pals at Ibrox crowing about this game. Plus all those " Motherwell " supporters were bad mouthing Lenny for most of the game. That is itself should have been motivation enough that's twice we have allowed that mob to beat us We allowed it to happen because we were bullied with no response. Totally unacceptable!

Im a Cliftonville fan and there is no chance of Liam Boyce or Joe Gormley getting into the Celtic team.
They are good Irish league players but that's it. Liam might get a move across the water but it won't be to Celtic. The only player who I think wouldve got near the Celtic team was Rory Donnelly who ended up at Swansea.
