Hi ed great work as usual, my take on cup final and way forward. For me Scott Brown was a stand out (i previously not been a fan) Celtic are a much better team with him in there and in holdin position so he can dominate others and possession. Which makes me think we don't need Wanyama who while is a talent gives the ball away too much. So sell him if big offer comes in and also hope kayal stays injury free. Back to final well done boys great performance Stokes and Hooper will obv get the plaudits they were great but so was Ledley who can be a star for years to come. going forward please don't tinker with the team too much, yes there is a poss loss of a player or 3 but if we can keep the main 1s I would only like to see a CD a LB and a no 10 and I will be happy don't have any names trust in Neil and we will be fine. Welcome any ideas for those positions.

I agree, thought brown was and should be man of the match for the cup. But to say sell wanyama cause brown is good and we have back up is wrong. With brown and wanyama and Ledley we havea solid mid, keeping wanyama is key to keep going far in Europe. For with the 3 you have heart, determination and skill to lead the team in any match and we should try and keep the mid together for it is our strongest part I the team

Firstly pleased with the performance today. I thought all bar Forrest were excellent.
Looking at next season and onwards we will probably be discussing who should be coming in over the coming months. Long and short of my point is that I feel we should be tapping into the market of buying players with spl experience. The article (link below) shows how Porto have done this in their own league and the profits they have made selling the players on. I am not suggesting we have a Falcao or Deco playing in our league but after missing out on Fletcher and McCarthy and seeing their value treble or quadruple it is clear we missed a trick.

I see that little runt Leckie trying to blacken the name of all who attended the game yesterday. I know there was a period in the first half when a few non football songs were belted out but not most of the first half which he claims. And to try and lump it in to what happend in Woolwich this week was just nasty and bad journalism. DH

Stop buying it, he is trash. i remember his character asassination of the maestro, after the raith final. his liam miller story when he went to manchester united was hysterical, and the jurgen klingsman/sdm/was classic person stuff, that was all when he was at the daily ranger. judas leckie u bet. imthe man with the long memory.

It is OUR responsibility to ensure those people who are tarnishing the clubs name by singing these "non football" songs are reminded of the damage it causes to the club and us as supporters

James McClean - Celtic (possibility)
Believable11

No is the short answer. Let's completely forget about the seriously inflated English market. Mclean's wages at sunderland would require Celtic to pay circa 40k per week for an average epl player. Until sky fall out of love with the epl, Celtic will have to shop elsewhere. Not a problem given the shrewd business done in recent seasons.

Not for me. He showed lots of promise when he first appeared on the scene at Sunderland but this season he has been nothing more than average and doesn't seem to have secured a first team place anyway.

Would Mc Clean get his place ahead of Commons, Sammy, Forrest or Stokes. don't think so. Too much to pay for a squad player. TTTS

Yet more sub standard dross. I really hope Celtic actually buy a few really good players. CFC need guys to take the next step ie: QF of the champions league,

Titus Bramble? Is that a serious question? Defo not a player we should be looking at. He is hopeless. Neilbhoy.

I would definitely take him, I'm surprised at all the negativity. It's refreshing to actually be linked with a player who I know about. I think McClean has the potential to be really good, and a young international to boot.

I actually think McClean is a decent player and could add plenty to our attacking threat. I wouldn't however bring him to Celtic Park for the simple reason of his beliefs. Not for a second will I criticism his beliefs but could you imagine the backlash from the Sevco fans to some of the stunts he's pulled at Sunderland. I am not going defend any persons actions but we have all seen the problems Lenny have had over the years and think McClean might be subject to the same if not worse and that cannot be a good advert when we are trying to attract a higher caliber of player. Not sure if the hassle would be worth what he could bring to the team.

Terrible players like Tit Bramble will still be picking up around 30 grand a week maybe even more. The guy is terrible and would be nothing more than a waste of money that could be invested in quality.

We def need a left back and a centre half. Izzy has not been at the races this year, and efe is a bit of a bomb scare, personally I would like a few young players promoted who know what it means to pull on the hoops

To the person with no name who suggests that James Mc Clean is a bigot, would he mind furnishing that with some sort of reasoning instead of just posting random rabble. TTTS

Efe is a great player Garry wise up to yourself, and James McClean is extremely over rated he is no better than what we have and he'd be better at a team like Chesterfield or Wolves
