Just heard on talk sh1t radio : Cardiff manager Malky Mackay, is on the shortlist. Mackay has done a superb job with the Welsh side this season and could be tempted on a move to Leeds United as Bates has promised money to spend in the summer.If McKay refuses there is a rumour Bate will move for Lennon, offering to double his wages and give him a summer war chest....seems like an intresting idea and the guys on Talk Sh1t are not ruling it out...hail hail.
RodForCelic {Ed007's Note - Bates spending money will never happen, he has a massive bill to pay if when Leeds go back up to the EPL.}

In that Treble-winning season, Rangers enjoyed a 44 game unbeaten run.25 clean sheets that season.188 appearences in the league 88 clean sheets...6 League titles..3 Scottish cups..2 League Cups..beat that Celtic Number 1...he wont even get to half those honours so keep your one season wonder...WATP.

Pacific Shelf 595 Limited
The above Company was incorporated on 11 October 1994, with a registered office at 24 Great King Street, Edinburgh.
This Company subsequently changed its name and became "The Celtic Football and Athletic Company Limited" and currently trades as Celtic Football Club.
So let us start the campaign that as the old Company folded in 1994 and was replaced by this Company, that all trophies, including the big jug, won before 1994 be stripped from their official records.
The Company that Peter Lawell runs has a very very proud history going back all of 18 years and has won 7 titles, 6 scottish cups and 5 league cups. {Ed007's Note - Copy and paste this and pass it about, if you can take the embarrassment of making yourself look foolish:
The Celtic Football and Athletic Company Ltd
If a football club is liquidated its finished. Continuity with its history and records ends. This is not the same as a football company changing its name.
Celtic was established as a sporting club at a meeting in a church hall in November 1887, in many ways, no different than a million other football, karate and badminton clubs. It subsequently registered with the SFA in 1888. In April 1897 it incorporated as a private limited company, registering as The Celtic Football and Athletic Company Ltd at Companies House. It was the 3487 th company to register in Scotland and was given the incorporation number SC003487.
In 1994 the company became a public limited company and changed its name to Celtic PLC but, of course, remained the same company, with the same incorporation number and retained the same registration with the SFA. You can check our corporate history, from incorporation in 1879, to name change in 1994 to our most recent annual return, dated 31 December 2011, at Companies House.
On the same day Celtic changed its name to Celtic PLC, Fergus McCann changed the name of an off the shelf company, securing the old trading name The Celtic Football and Athletic Company Ltd, which is fully owned by Celtic PLC, but is not registered as a football club. I assume this was to secure our old name for the club and to protect it from potential abuse.

...and that's the way to do it. Wee fergus covered the Celtic F.C. and Athletic Co Ltd losses and effectively owned the company, took his money from the BoS who scandalously had the nerve to sanction the closure of the club at a fraction of the debt that the current Rangers board have accrued and set up an account at the co-operative where the club has enjoyed an exceptional relationship since. Proper business savvy and this hasn't changed at CP thank goodness. Ironic when you think that we have a debt at CP today that is more than what the Kellys had built up back in '93.

Ah well E some folks will believe anything they read...or are told....especially by our lazy media who are only intrested in stirring up trouble and selling papers...then stand back with the can of petrol in their hand watching the fire and saying ...it wisnae me.....I'm just up for the banter..

Keep reading the crap you write Bears. The mother of all title parties is going to happen at Ibrox. Anyway regarding this Pacific Shelf 959 limited, this company was created by Fergus McCann to carry on the name Celtic football and athletic company limited,still exists to day with a capital of 2.00. Celtic had to change its name because it was being floted on the Stock exchange one of the most sucesfull in history. So therefore Celtic Football Club PLC is still the same company not a changed company. Companies do it all the time. soo therfore Celtic still have won there honours including the European Cup (FAIRLY). If Rangers where to go into liquadation then the truth is that the Rangers football Club Name has to die and the history would be reset.

Doubt we are looking at him as he is no better than we already have. He is 27 also which is same age as Sammy so that kind of goes against Lenny and the boards signing policy of sell older players and replace with young up and coming players.
