At the game today people chatting that Cole is to be offered 10K/week on deal to end of season with option of years deal. Anyone know if there's any truth in it?

Apparently he impressed in training, Celtic haven't made a decision on offering a contract yet. That's what John Kennedy said anyway, if that is the case I can see it being down to wages etc

Hes back in London? Could be arranging a move, doesn't mean its off. Not overly fussed, fact we're fishing about for him shows how far we've fallen. he's came up in a few windows (bit like Heskey used to) and I always shuddered a bit when he did but with LG and Ciftci our only real options, I would hope he comes now. If not, we could well end up heading into a game(Europa or SPFL) with no recognised striker up front, in which case I'd batter Bitton or Commons up there. We should not be in that position.
