Anton Rodgers travelling to Austria with Celtic. Fair enough, it's not unusual for players to train with managers they know. But the Mirror saying he's in the squad to play. That's got to be brown bananas surely?

I wouldn't be too chuffed if he actually got game time.

Surely just to get the lad some fitness, can't see him having a chance to play!

Obviously. We are biscuit tin stuff, but not that desperate.

Chris Willock reported to be joining Benfica. I suspected signing Hayes might have put that to bed anyway as a back up to Sinclair. BR saying he expects a signing in the coming days though. Any punts Bond?

I was being a dafty LM. What were presented as quotes were actually quotes from a bogus website, not BR himself.

Is this to improve the Development Squad?

Surely we are aiming higher than this and what would this mean for Kouassi Eboue?

Where u hearing this JB67? Really rate mginn but a strange one if true! Was expecting a higher quality player than mginn and Hayes if I'm being honest. absolutely no way am I tryin to disrespect the 2 lads but if if Brendan has his eye on doing better in Europe then we need better.2 good players for the league but we already have more than enough for that.

Is that the same McGinn who you said wouldn't be signing as he didn't think he was good enough for Celtic?

more paper talk pish, report i read said the dark side were after him along with us and we were also looking at McCormick from Villa.

Are we in for him allegedly? Some muppet say rangers were after him and lumped us in?
Think he is a decent player but why buy more for the bench?

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jun 2017 20:23:31
I hope not. We were supposed to be going for a few quality additions, not Hayes and McGinn.

I read it differently. was on a online page saying if we want him we need to make it soon as ipswich have bid rejected, nowhere on the page does it say were bidding. tidy wee player though.

Looking back to the job Brendan and his coaches did with some of our average players last season my immediate concern is not really how well a player has played for another manager up to now . I am just hoping and expecting Brendan to see the talent and be confident he can move player to new level.
I don't think we have to pay £6-8m to get a player in that will perform for us .

Robbie Keane 's son is starring at Gaelic Football. He is still only 8 so has plenty of improvement and recently scored 0-8 Pts in a Dublin underage match.
