Can anyone confirm this?
I heard a rumour today that Gers have been withholding charity money. What i heard was when Gers were selling the kits with poppies on them that they never passed on the cut of the profits to the poppy appeal.Do you know if this is true ed?Supposed to be the talk on other forums.

Cheers ed.I didn't know whether to believe it or not but with everything else that seems to be coming out of Ibrox i wouldn't have been surprised.
Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - I'm not getting into the whole poppy debate on here again, but if any football team ripped off any charity there name would be mud all over the world, even fans would walk away from them I would imagine. I think this is all just a daft story doing the rounds with no truth what so ever to it.}

Its only taken mainstream media two years to "break" the tax case story and with the way lot are being run i wouldnt be suprised if that money was used towards day to day running, everything else has!

I may get pelters for this but, I thought Forster and Hooper could've made the "inexperienced" England squad considering Frazer Campbell has been out injured for a considerably long time. Thoughts anyone?

Your deluded!
Agree0

Forster - yes. Although he's sometimes a spectator in games he's been solid when called upon and enough evidence there that he's making huge progress and could do a job.
Hooper - no. I think he's been inconsistent this season. Even on some of the days when he's managed to score he'd looked below par (yesterday is a perfect example). However if he manages to up his consistency I think he'd have an outside chance of making the Euro squad or at the very least be a 40-man provisional choice.
Agree0
Disagree0
Forster and Hooper are just ordinary players, Hooper has talent and could improve to be a top championship player, but never EPL, Forster is never an international goal keeper, think of Given, Hart, McGregor, etc and he just doesn't count with these guys, hasn't got that special thing
Agree0
Disagree0
I think joe hart is a bit overrated but still i dont think hooper or forster will make the england team purely because of the league we play in but they are still fairly young and maybe one day the could play for england i think hooper is a very good player and on his day he can be phenominal and forster has started to show great form this season and imo he is just as good as mcgregor and half the keepers in the premiership davie c
Agree0

Lol, Hooper a Championship player? I would take anyones money Hooper next club will be EPL.

Aye right sit doon son both are defo championship players at best nae chance of them ever being called up...
Agree0

Ok neil lennon can sit doon tae as hes touted them for england caps, from a manager thats clear for a clean sweep this season!
Agree0

Sit doon both of you one title doesn't make a manager.....
Agree0

Sit doon we can all see Fat Sally is never going to be a manager all he will ever be is a number 2 in all aspects of the meaning.
Ian(For every Ł1 Celtic spend rangers will pay their creditors 10p)

yeah hes better than mcshagger
Agree0

Is this the same guy that you were all slaughtering after the game against rennes?
Agree0
Disagree0
It is sad that because Forster and hooper play in scotland it is thought they are not good enough for England well it will be their loss 2 experenced players like these would be an great addition to any team they should be given a chance no matter were they play

Whats your opinion on him? granted hes been out most of the time hes been here but I liked the look of him in some of the games I seen him in. I thought the 1st game against udinese he was very impressive.
I can see us cashing in on big sammy in the summer if we keep this boy.

It's great to be a Celtic supporter these days and I take nothing for granted as I have witnessed dazzling and unique highs and torturing unbearable lows in nearly 50 years of supporting my beloved Bhoys and I wouldn't change it for the world.
Win, lose or draw I know the Hoops TRIED their best But spare a thought for fans of teams like Motherwell and Inverness for example who pay good money to watch their teams and see them only give 100% in only certain games? Well they must be content with that or surely they would complain.

Sorry guys haven't been on here as it's more fun on the deluded site. It is hilarious for some reason they think that the EBT was "legal" when RFC (In administration) deployed this method of playing players. It was always legal but not to pay wages. I'm loving it. Hail Hail

Get a grip mate. Motherwell played really well yesterday and i'm sure they do up their game against Celtic. In the same way Aberdeen fight against Rangers and consistently fold against Celtic. Works both ways.
Agree0

Do you really think the foreign players within the ranks of motherwell and inverness understand the paranoia in scotland?
do you really think they will go out and lay down against a team who they have no 'connections' with?

The Celtic player of the year for me so far is Charlie Mulgrew. The nearest to him, are Stokes, forest and Forster. When times were really hard these were guys who really dug in. For me Charlie is just shading it, because when we were looking for a leader he stepped up. I should include Mr consistent in this as well, Joe Ledley, he just goes about his job ans never lets the team down, he scores important goals as well. But, it's Charlie so far for me, what do others think. paddybhoy

Ledley for me...when all those around were losing their heads he stood tall and still does. Remember he scored the winner last time against TFOD

Charlie was the star man yesterday, always delivered in every position; serious contenter for my playerof the year

Spot on mate charlie gets my vote , i thought he was our best player last year has well , he is there for the long haul , not like wee izzie i mhave been hearing his attitude around lennox town is shocking , he will be the first too go next transfer window , looks like he might have been 1 hit wonder anyway

Has to be Ledley. Consistently good each week where it be LB, LM or his best position of CM. Rarly gives it away and always bursts a gut for the cause.

Can't believe anyone would put Samaras forward for player of the year. What did he do in the first half yesterday. Lazy performance causing others to delay passing to him, as he was still walking back from last attack. Frustrating to watch as he never lifts his head to look for a pass. Ledley has been outstanding, rarely wastes the ball, scores important goals & does a lot of unnoticed work. Did you see the 60 yard run he made last Wednesday to make a tackle.

Id be more than surprised if Joe Ledley did nor win POTY this year!

Sammys no my player of the year but must say he`s more than pulling his weight for lennon know just my opinion. joe amazing this season busts a gut every game but it has to be charlie for me,composed in defence something we haven`t had for a while, good passing, sweet left foot and a big strong lad. Good Morning Ed,
Just wondering what you were hearing re Rangers future these days?
Good win yesterday, Motherwell as good if not better than the "pub teams" both Rangers and Celtic have struggled with in Europe recently.
Cheers

While Celtic disposed of Motherwell 1-0 at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon to go 23 points clear at the top of the SPL – major developments were taking place across the city.
As Celtic Park jumped to the sounds of “Championee” and “We’re having a party when Rangers die” a lot of clicking noises took place in another area to the south west of Glasgow.
We hear from an impeccable source that liquidators were inside the “Big Hoose” today taking photographs of absolutely everything that can possibly be sold.
This information is 100% factual and shows developments have taking a major step towards their “institution” folding and formally bringing to an end around 100 years of bigotry – we’ll let them off with the first 40 – as we are nice guys.
The Sunday’s may or may not have this information but as the rags and old media in general are known to sit on negative Skint FC stories, particularly during Sir Minty Moonbeams tenure, we thought we’d put in the public domain at the earliest opportunity.

Today's sun claims to have seen side letters (contracts) for rangers players. Experts have declared them both illegal and in contravention of SPL rules. The game is up this must lead to the stripping of titles won when these players played. Campbell Ogilvie's position is now also untenable. These letters are the smoking gun in the tax case, the case will surely go in HMRC favour. Cheating on this scale is unprecedented and will mean any newco rangers will have no chance of parachuting back into SPL
