As much as I didn’t want him to play for us again, unfortunately I think we didn’t have much choice . Two other centre backs unfit so probably the only option would be Lustig in to centre back. I haven’t really seen him play well there to be honest, we all know you need to have some understanding of how to play together as a pair . Hopefully the board will now look at it and get us some defenders in so we aren’t in the position where we have to play him.

End of the day we are in the middle of a defensive crisis and the manager deems he needs him.
I ain't happy about it but that's just the way it is.
What worries me is that the gaffer can't see that Gordon causes just as much bother as any defender.

Ed what’s your take on our line up being leaked early most weeks? This week it was leaked around 11am. I’m a bit worried that we have a mole within the squad. I imagine that our team and formation will be leaked early against sevco and they will presumably amend their tactics accordingly.

Boyata will sign new contract, he has supposedly apologised to fans, team mates and he’s sacked his agent, hopefully keep him, best centre at the club.

i guess he wants to go the the Engerlish and Welsh Premier League an d their window is shut so will give us 6 months. TBH he's not that great - best we have, but not a great - shame on us for not plugging the gap in past windows - remember Lustig/ Biton in central defence last CL Quals, ach well we got comper.

Lads I will boo him and I guarantee I won't be alone. He should not be near the team, this is going to be brendans biggest mistske, it could cause trouble in the crowd and I can see it being 50/ 50 with boos and people defending him.

Like everyone else I'm not happy with the Boyata situation. But the defence is so bad I feel he has to play today, then hopefully he be away by the end of week when we have a replacement.

It does say a lot about us at the minute when Gordon, lustig and now Boyata are playing. Boyata l can understand but certainly don't agree with him playing but how has BR picked Gordon and Lustig l will never know. Shows what he thinks on Bain and Gambo.

I think we all need to hope that something is done in the transfer window before fri.
If not I don't think Brendan will stay after we this season.
I hope I am wrong and hope we actually pull a couple of crackers out the sky and sign some quality.
I would als like to say once O/ E is fit and playing with Dembele again we will start banging them in. Not sure if we will keep them out at the other end mind you but here's hoping. Hail Hail lads let's get behind our Bhoys and manager and hope our board haven't left it too late to get quality in for Brendan.
