Mohamad '0 impact' Bangura is possibly out for 3 months with recurring knee problems that may require surgery, maybe this is an excuse for how dire he is and what a waste of money he looks? who knows.

I agree, this guys first touch is like a shot and he is awful. A terrible buy.....so far!

You know, I agree that he doesnt look the part, but he has shown one or two fantastic touches at times (and yeah, I literally mean only 1 or 2) which make me think he does have something to offer but 99% of his play is shocking. headless chicken i'm afraid. Gotta wonder who is actually in charge of the player buying at parkhead....

It's difficult to stick up for Bangura seeing as, like you say, he hasn't really done anything yet.

However, I would say it can be difficult for new players to settle in at a new club if they're mainly getting substitue appearances, and as far as I can see that's basically all Bangura's getting at the minute. I might be overlooking something, but there's been a few games this season where I've been amazed he hasn't been given a start, if only to give him a real chance of showing what he can do. Plus it's still a bit early yet to write him off, players don't always come good overnight.

I'd give him time to settle, he's only 22 and even the mighty Larsson had some bad years before he moved to Celtic.

And lets be honest too, Gary Hooper has been just as shocking for the majority of this season and does not deserve his automatic starting place.

Well i dont think he has done much but he was recomended by henrik larrson so he must of saw something give him time but your right he is shocking just now

Bangura does not look at ease whatsoever with a ball at his feet and as for coming recomended from Henrik is there a direct quote or has Henrik been seen saying this in front of t.v camera??

How many fantastic players have failed in another role in football, arguably Samaras has the attributes to be a good player but well...

Give the boy a chance. When he plays & misses chances by the bucket load then pass judgement.

Give the lad a chance ffs, he has just moved to a new country, his wife not long ago lost a baby, he has not had a run of games, the team as a whole have been under performing so it's not easy to come into a team under those circumtances. Let's try supporting our team lads. FAITHFULL THROUGH AND THROUGH REMEMBER. maccabhoy88

It's a pity that he doesn't get a chance to play against the Celtic defense. If he did he would look like a world beater.

Swedish youngster Alex Milosevic has admitted he would be interested in a move to Celtic.

The 19-year-old defender has three years left on his contract with AIK Solna and has also been linked with Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and German side Werder Bremen.

Milosevic was quoted in the Scottish Sun saying: "I spent a week training at Celtic earlier this year and really enjoyed it.

"I have three years left on my contract, but Celtic is a big club. If the clubs can work something out, I would be interested."

Try get rid of Majstorovic as part of the deal.

Why go for defenders when we have got Thomson good young England u21, o'dea scoring for fun @ Leeds 2 in 2. Hoiveld another good defender scoring for saints. Last two playing in championship.better league than spl.

Just wondering what the last person to post is on ? Im assuming you haven't seen Celtics defence for the last season ? The fact that you keep mentioning that the defenders we have out on loan are scoring means little as we need to stop conceding firstly.Thomson & Hoiveld were poor last season ( very slow ) although not as poor as Dan & O'Dea has been at celtic long enough without showing much. If we don't win tomorrow I think a new manager will be bringing in his own players.

O'dea is one of the best defenders on the clubs books (know thats not saying much), him and charlie in the middle would be a decent pairing

I'm all for signing a defender but does he have to be a teenager ! Get us two big solid, experienced Centre Halves...who can actually play football

Well odea is at Leeds championship side hoiveld saints doing well in championship so the teams are making these players look good yeah ok mate they should both have the hoops on and Wilson when back given time all three will be quality players .. Wilson & Thomson had epl sides watching before we got them. Trickycelt.
