I wonder if we'll do some late business this window (Roberts perhaps? ) because the VVD saga is threatening to go to the wire. I'd hope we would do our business regardless but understand the reality of our financial situation.

I thought we would have had our deals done early but most players don't become available until the end of the transfer window so expecting 2 or 3 big deals to be done. Injuries and suspensions have already shown we need another CB and Striker. Although we are more than capable of winning the SPL again with ease to make an impact in the CL we need to build on that success, something we didn't do in previous seasons.

Hopefully a few more outs aswel. Ciftci and Bitton the obvious 2 who are going to find it even more difficult to get on the bench never mind starting 11.

I think the biggest issue is trying to attract the players we need to come to Celtic. No matter how big and great Celtic are it is still Scottish league footy which is not a good standard. The big attraction would be European football so I hope that if we get passed Rosenberg and then through the play off round then we would be able to attract the type of players we want.

As much as I hate to admit it, I have the growing feeling that wee paddy won't be returning. I hope I am so wrong about that, but I just can't see it.
The two young guys he has brought in look absolute class and wee Jonny will give his all every time he is played. We still need a CB and if this boy Caulker can be sorted out and plays the way he can then he is in with Simo no question. Both Boyata and Shev give me palpitations every time they play out from the back.
I really think young Benyu will be brilliant for us and see Mcgreggor getting less game time as a result of it. With the two strikers out, it dismays me we have nobody coming through who could lead the attack. It's not about age, it's about ability and Brendan obviously feels there isn't anyone up to it.
I'm now in panic mode to try to get a stream for tonight. It's gonny be a day of fretting over that.

Noticed about Ntcham already he ain't afraid to shoot from anywhere, who knows an early goal and anything is possible. The pressure we put on teams after an early goal is great to watch so hopefully the same tonight.

Have a read through Ed001 and Ed002's comments on the Liverpool page over the last couple of weeks for clarification but I think Liverpool could be in trouble if it happens on top of the other charges and sanctions they face. It's been a problem at Liverpool for years that even Rodgers was involved in.}

According to the bbc pages Conte still has a lot of money to spend and Virgil is a target, he has been left out of their squad for the pre season tour, which usually signifies the beginning of the end .

So what exactly is Ed002's understanding of the situation? That Marseille would prefer to sign Bacca but aren't putting all their eggs in that basket in case Milan won't go for a loan-to-buy?

Milan are looking at multiple options are they not ED? I'm sure Belloti is there No1 target, don't know if Milan will offer him First Team football or not? To be honest Milan are really on an Uprise, I think they will be a force in the next few seasons. Looks like a really well put together squad so far. All thanks to the money they have at there hands.

If true then it shows what most of us have been saying on here, we're short in both defence and attack! If moussa is out and griff is banned there's literally no other strikers! Ciftci doesn't count by the way! Lol. the defence in particular bothers me, I would have put my mortgage on Brendan bringin in a top quality CB. a club our size should have 4 strikers fighting for those positions, or even 3 top quality because we only usually go with the one up front!
