I think we need to get David Templeton from Hearts as quickly as possible. Before clubs from EPL will get him first. He is young, fast and really cheap. How much could he be worth ed? {Ed007's Note - Depends what mood Mad Vlad is in when he gets the approach. Hearts finances are in an abysmal condition, how they are still going I have no idea, he could go for buttons or go for a couple of million tops.}

Believable13 Unbelievable4

Where would he play? who would he replace? no point buying players just for the sake of it! dont fix if not broken, its a CF we need thats all,
Willybhoy

Agree2 Disagree0

Agreed with the above poster. Would only think about buying him if we sold forrest and the derry pele. And the last thing we need to be thinking about doing is selling Forrest

Agree0 Disagree0

Forrest can play on both wings, as for templeton i think hes a great player, would welcome him at celtic, and if hearts finances are like they say then why not? Keir

Ed is there any truth to lennon wanting robert snodgrass or is it B***S*** {Ed007's Note - Everyone has jumped on this because contract talks have broken down. He is contracted to Leeds until summer 2013 and Ken Bates said today that Snodgrass and Clayton weren't going anywhere. There are EPL teams interested and no doubt NL would be also if he was available and NL wanted to sign him.}

Believable2 Unbelievable7

I was speaking with Snodgrass's gf's brother the other week in the city centre and he said that Snodgrass feels he deserves a better salary and has demanded he gets more than Lucciano Becchio who is on £18k a week, he also said that Rangers enquired about him in the summer and Leeds rejected the enquiry.

Iv heard cisse is coming to CP on loan, i think hed be good at celtic i think hos pace will trouble teams and gives us another option, i also heard that as lennon can get the forster deal anytime this season he will do this in february, also heard lennon is intrested in robert snodgrass, ed what do you think about these? {Ed007's Note - as the actress said to the vicar.....}

Believable2 Unbelievable14

May I ask where u heard this about cisse? I don't rate him but just imo
Cb

Agree2 Disagree1

I really hope this cisse rumour isn't true. I said at the start of the window that I would be happy if we didn't sign anyone as I thought we jad a strong enough squade to win the leauge and still believe that we do but now that Bangura is injured again I would certainly feel a lot happier if we could do a bit of business and get an other striker in

as for getting 2.5 for sammy....ill drive hime to the

Agree0 Disagree0

Cisse scored 47 goals in 61 games at Panathinaikos, albeit he hasn't settled well at Lazio. 219 goals in 466 over his career. He'd be a sensation in Scotland.

I no we r looking for a cf but what bout Danny wilson at Liverpool. the boy not getting a game and he looked class when at the shame what u reckon ed bout trying 2 get him?? {Ed007's Note - He has been described at LFC as 'the defender who can't defend'. I think that says it all.}

Lee Clayton a journalist from england has said that there was no bid for Jellyp1sh big sam doesn't rate him and they are signing a guy from chelsea. it gets funnier by the hour now pmsl {Ed007's Note - Lee Clayton is the Head of Sportr for the Daily Fail, not one of my favourite reads I must say, but who cares :-) #schadenfreude

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Ed, I think we should just go for it and form the Schadenfreude CSC. Everyone would join as we all can't stop p1ssing ourselves at the ongoing events at Greyskull.

Agree2 Disagree1

I think thats cruel and demeaning to rankers............where do i sign? green jhedi

Agree5 Disagree1

Hate when people refer to I pox as greyskull as anyone like me who watched he man will remember that is where he man got his power, should be snake mountain more appropriate though Sally aint no skeletor

I've always preferred the Death Star moniker myself, though at this point there is no one to take on the Darth Vader role.... {Ed007's Note - I've got a Darth Vader outfit, complete with voice changer and £150 lightsaber!! And Moneypenny says my Darth Vader sword is a belter ;-)

TTTS {Ed007's Note - There is a good chance of it, the loan can be made permanent at any time though, like Hooiveld to Southampton was. If the loan is with a view to a permanent it can be concluded at any time, even outside the window.}

Heskey free transfer in summer? Wat u guys think? {Ed007's Note - Why would you even consider that?}

Believable4 Unbelievable18

Big bad John

Agree2 Disagree0

You notice the fools that mention sutton or heskey never leave their names, bet you its fat sally grasping at straws(prob cheese ones)
mcdab

Agree4 Disagree0

I'm not even trying to compare Heskey to Chris Sutton , but after sitting season at Chelsea before we signed him not many would have been keen on that transfer. I don't know what the possibilities of Heskey on loan till end of season is but I would take him or Kevin Davies for that matter in a second. I think a decent loan till end of season will suit us then we can really buy someone on the summer for building our team. Maybe Jordan Rhodes ir someone young and of that ilk

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry about the spelling of Sutton , predictive text {Ed007's Note - Nothing wrong with it I can see mate, don't worry about spelling, as long as we can all read it (Wee Pat is the exception), it is fine.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sitting instead if Sutton ed, cheers though

Agree0 Disagree0

Mate, no one's comparing Mr Sutton v Heskey, nowt to compare with only one winner there. the poster who was on about the players was referin to his bro, doh!

Agree0 Disagree0

Doh?? Mate I think it's you who missed the point. I was merely trying to point out that we wouldn't have been keen on signing Chris Sutton after his horror year at Chelsea trying to state the point that a bad season doesn't make a bad player. No idea what your on about. Double Doh !! I think

Agree0 Disagree0

Sutton was outstanding 4 blackburn n norwich b4 he went 2 chelski he had 1 season o not doin 2 well n then came 2 the hoops n the rest is history heskey has had wot 6 7 bad seasons?so why would we sign him or davies who r both past it n not even fit enuff 2 lace big suttys boots even in their heyday?people get a grip john sutton daly heskey davies et al not gd enuff get the message we buy quality or we dont buy n the cf has 2 b equal or better than starsky n hutch or give us that target man option then take him otherwise wind ur necks in n stop spoutin complete n utter nonsense hail hail IS1888

Djibril Cissé going hoops on loan til end of season.

Got a call from my mate in Athens who used to be Cissé's neighbour (got on with Cissé's Welsh wife as neither can speak much Greek lol).

Cissé called him to tell him as he knew he was big Celtic fan... {Ed007's Note - Didn't you believe him when he text you about it mate? Look on the Dodgy rumours page.}

Believable6 Unbelievable14

Is there any truth in this ed sick o reading bout it now.
5 days left is any1 going or any1 coming in. Have u got any concrete for us ed?? {Ed007's Note - No but my nephews work in the building trade, I'll have a word.}

Agree2 Disagree2

Just talked to him to ask if it was defo or not he says yes so :/ {Ed007's Note - Exactly.....so!}

Agree0 Disagree1

Ed, How do some of these people get on this site. Cisse, Sutton, Pavlyuchenko, Maynard, Rhodes, Zigic, Carew, Rodallega and half the Bundesliga top strikers! They obviously have nothing better to do but make up rubbish. Do people not realize the value of some of these players and how terrible the others are. But then my hairdressers dogwalkers cousin seen Messi at Lennoxtown, so you never know! {Ed007's Note - I heard Messi was dropping off Ronaldo for a medical on an 'Oor Wullie' style bogey. It is what we call silly season mate, too much FIFA/FM and time on their hands.}

Agree4 Disagree0

What a f@ndan

Agree4 Disagree0

Must have been a few who got FM for xmas and its gone to their heads. Silly season right enough, if we add a good experienced target man and keep what we have then we should be fine. (Not sure about Messi dropping off Ronaldo tho. Jose said he ground Ronaldo if he seen him with any Barca {Ed007's Note - Messi and Wee Jamesy had a play date while talks were going on. They ended up fighting over an Optimus Prime Transformer toy, Jamesy ended up squirting a Fruit Shoot all over Messi and storming off with the Haribo.}

Agree3 Disagree0

So ed what your saying is u don't no anything all we r doing is asking your opinion!!!! {Ed007's Note - I wasn't asked anything apart from if I had any concrete? Why I have any building materials is neither here nor there on a site like this, is it?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Pmsl.... He walked into that one ed! Lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair play ed I made a c**t off that I,ll try again have u got any concrete news off any1 leaving or coming in I.e names please xx {Ed007's Note - I only know that there is a player from the Bundesliga on the radar. Blackpool might have another nudge for McCourt and any the fringe players could really leave/go on loan in the next week. I expect O'Dea to sign for Leeds as well.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Not sure if id want Cisse, he was scoring for fun for pananthinaikos until he quit after being attacked after a derby by olympiakos fans alongside another player, his pace is electric maybe he could do a job for us? how much are his wages?Keir

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks ed love the banter anyway {Ed007's Note - Cheers mate.}

Any word on Forster becoming a permenant Celt ed? I know we've got first option for 2 mil but if another club were to offer more than that would we have to match it or enter a bidding war (which if it's with an epl club we're not gonna win)? {Ed007's Note - The price is a condition of the loan deal. If CFC offer him a contract and he accepts, the price to NUFC is £2 million.}

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Make the offer, Either that or bring back the Holy goalie from Italy.... {Ed007's Note - *groan*

Agree4 Disagree0

Cheers for clearing that up

Agree1 Disagree0

He's 24 on St Patricks day this year
so if we get 10 year out of the Bigman works out £200k a year
Absolute Bargin in my eyes

Bhaldrick

Agree3 Disagree0

Not liking the sound of that Ed. So if we offer him something like 12k a week and an EPL club offers 20k then he can go there as long as they match the 2mil fee ? Hope he's not another keeper to slip through our fingers. {Ed007's Note - No buddy. The £2 million fee is only agreed with us, any other team would need to negotiate the price with NUFC , who could ask for £5 million if they wanted to.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ahhh. Thanks for clearing that up Ed. Im happier with that. The big man has improved beyond recognition the last 3 month or so. Could turn out to be major player for seasons to come. {Ed007's Note - I always thought he had the makings of a good GK, I'm glad to see him getting the plaudits now.}

Agree0 Disagree0

The big man had a slow start at Celtic and even I criticised him.... Even tho all the changes in the back four didn't help he still had the best clean sheet record in the spl! Really settled down now, a good few teams in the epl rate him highly, could be a big mistake to let him slip through the net!?

Big bad john

Agree2 Disagree0

Hi Ed - I was one who was dead against FF earlier in the season for reasons I stick by then. Credit to the man though, he has matured over last 3 months into what looks like the making of a "stellar" keeper for years to come. Biggest concern now is if he keeps up performances and prices himself out of a deal even if we have first option. EPL clubs can splash £5M on a transfer and huge wages that will scupper us {Ed007's Note - Good to see you have changed your mind buddy. I think there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to tie up a deal for FF, hopefully we can get him signed up long term.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope you sign him he is a big diddy, a couple of good saves and he is a great keeper. remember this time last year , you lot wanted him and wee ginger out.short memories . wrtp.

Agree0 Disagree0

2 the numnut currant above yous all wanted them both out?i didnt i believe in lenny n big fraz n hav since day 1 the big man is happy at the hoops n is clearly loving his fitba playing in a top team n winning trophies he has no reasonm not 2 sign 4 the hoops n not all players go where the wages r the biggest some of them actually hav ambition n want 2 win trophies n b succesful rather than playin out borin games in a basement battle year after year hoops 2 the core IS1888

could be seen as a long shot but maybe enquire about getting Connor Wickham from Sunderland on loan good big strong lad I'm sure Martin wouldn't mind helping the hoops out unless he wants Wickham to play week in week out, thoughts ed ?

Steph88 {Ed007's Note - Have you watched him play Steph? I'd pass on that one.}

Believable0 Unbelievable6

I haven't seen much of the lad Ed sorry lol, I knew Bruce rated him highly when they first signed him and from the looks of him he looked a bit like what lenny was looking for big strong lad but if his recent performances have been poor then i'd pass also HH

Steph88 {Ed007's Note - He hasn't really progressed as well as was expected Steph, maybe MON's style of play will suit him better.}

Agree0 Disagree0

There u go another overinflated price 4 a guy wi a bit of potential apparently n yet idiots r comin on here sayin our players who r doin it wk in wk out n not threatening 2 show potential but r showing class n that they can cut it at the top level aint worth as much as overhyped guys down in england wot a laff hail hail IS1888

Out-of-favour Bolton striker Kevin Davies is being linked with moves to West Brom, Sunderland, Wolves, Celtic and Rangers this month.

The 34-year-old admitted last week that he was facing an uncertain future after slipping down the pecking order and spending much of his time on the bench.

This has reportedly alerted other clubs to his possible availability with the Premier League trio and the Old Firm rivals all monitoring his situation at the Reebok.

But whilst Bolton would consider selling him this month, it is not believed that they would entertain a loan deal - which most of the clubs interested would seem to prefer.

Davies's current deal at the Reebok Stadium is due to expire at the end of the season

Believable3 Unbelievable8

Few years ago i would have said yes staright away, at 34 i wouldnt entertain a deal, hope lenny doesnt either, Keir

This is my first post on this site...

There are reports in Ecuadorian newspapers that we are close to agreeing a deal with Ecuadorian attacking midfielder Christian Suárez (currently plays for Santos Laguna.) From what I've seen of him is that he is a creative winger/attacking midfielder who can score goals.

We already have a lot of midfield talent, so I'm not sure how accurate these reports are...

Ed - Reports that Bangura has suffered a setback to his knee injury. I'd imagine that this will increase Celtic's intensity to bring in a striker. Have you any updated information relating to targets we're looking at. {Ed007's Note - It is still being worked on.}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Was Bangura really signed on the recommendation of Henrikk Larsson? I find it hard to believe {Ed007's Note - Larsson recommended him, but he was watched and scouted.}

Agree0 Disagree1

I have quie a few friends in Sweden, Stockholm especially and they maintain that Mo Bangura is a class act. The other Bangura scored more goals but Mo created most of them.

They reckon he was more of a deep lying striker linking up with the midfield than a Hooper/Stokes type.

Give him time.

Also Lustig is supposed to be immense.

Agree8 Disagree0

Gotta give him time and get him fit. then give him game time. got to get match fit. I heard that he is immense from cuz in sweden . got set up a ton of goals for hooper

Agree2 Disagree1

Never had a proper opportunity - set back by injury most of the season. Played last 15 mins or so of various games and has barely seen the ball nevermind get a chance on goal. Only game he's started was against Hearts where the whole team were shocking so it'd be unfair to judge him on this.

Feel for the guy.

Agree2 Disagree0

I think larsson recommended bangura because he likes his hair do! lol

samaras off to palermo for £2.5m

Believable9 Unbelievable14

Is this confirmed?keir {Ed007's Note - It is not confirmed Keir but Palermo did contact the club in December about Samaras.}

Agree3 Disagree0

Is this a rumour or an idea because I see it nowhere else?

Agree3 Disagree0

Strangely i got a txt saying the same at 14:10? green jhedi

Agree3 Disagree0

Take the money, he's had a no bad season as a winger but i'd rather have the dosh
mcdab

Agree5 Disagree2

2.5 millions would be good money for Samaras, though he's been playing decent the last few months

Agree3 Disagree0

I'm a Gers man and I can honestly say if Celtic get £2.5m for Samaras it will be the deal of the century!

Rangers probably wouldn't get anywhere near that for Lafferty.....and Lafferty is BETTER than Samaras!!!!!

TTG

Agree3 Disagree14

Sounds too good to be true... Unless we have tied up a 'real' striker on the QT?

Agree4 Disagree0

Laffertys not better than samaras

Agree11 Disagree3

Lafferty is marginally better than a kick to the nuts.

Samaras is a far better footballer than Laffatme. There is only one reason that Rangers want rid of Sammy: He's a ***skelper! haha

Agree8 Disagree1

2.5 million is pointless in January. He's playing very well at the minute so why punt him at this point with very little time to adequetly replace him. madness.

Agree5 Disagree3

Sammy pays his bills . Laughable doesn't
Ska bhoy

Agree4 Disagree1

Playing very well at the moment ?? Have you not seen his last 2 games ? Looks back to his old self. Uninterested and lazy, hence the reason he was taken off early on Sat.

Agree2 Disagree2

If it is 2.5 million id take straight away, there is better strikers than samaras out there right now for that money, Keir

Agree1 Disagree0

I would say that its unfair to judge a player who only ever gets balls played to him in the air on a game played during a gale.

Agree3 Disagree1

To say 2.5m for sammy would be good money is a huge underestimation
cb

Agree0 Disagree1

Im not judging him on one game, im judging him on his perfomances for the past 4 years, Keir

Agree1 Disagree0

Sammy has played well this season but would snap their hands off for 2.5m and then buy templeton for half that. would be a good piece of buisness!

BarryBhoy

Agree2 Disagree0

Aye he is. Lafferty gets a good few in a season, Samaras doesn't.

TTG

Agree1 Disagree1

Keir that comment was a reply to an earlier post.

I think he has been immense this season and if he hadn't been playing we wouldn't be on this run. He really has made left mid his new position.

Agree3 Disagree0

Agreed he has been better this season, when he plays well he`s good, like you say left midfield is his new position, as a striker he baffles me, he can do so much with the ball and invites tackles, he has great pace , like i said in a previous post hes an enigma? should be scoring a lot more goals when you think Commons came into the team last year and scored for fun, keir

Agree2 Disagree0

Samaras has stepped up to be the winger since Commons has been missing in action so far this season.

I have said before on here that Samaras is quick as hell, hes 6 ft 4 and strong and good in the air. Ask any fullback what kind of player they hate playing against and they will describe one or more of those attributes, Sammy has the full set.

I dont think people fully appreciate how many ot the goals Celtic have scored since Sammy has moved out to the wing have been caused directly or indirectly by defenders being out of position trying to deal with him.

Agree1 Disagree0

Did i just read correct and someone says lafferty is better than samaras??? pass the dutchie bud

anyone any idea if the semi final is on tv on sunday? {Ed007's Note - BBC1 are showing it in Scotland.}

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Do fans live in the moon they dont even know if games r on tele

Agree5 Disagree4

I don't live in or on the moon for that matter, but I do live in Germany. Being a celtic fan, you must be aware that they have a global fan base and not all of them have knowledge or access to when/where the games are being shown on tv. So next time before you post a daft comment, stop and think about how daft it is first and maybe you will decide not to post it! #eejit! {Ed007's Note - If you are struggling for games over their here is something that might help you out:

1. Install the browser Google Chrome.

2. Look in the top right (your right) corner and you will see a spanner.

3. Click on the spanner and select 'tools'.

4. Click on extensions

5. At the bottom right (as you look at it) you will see 'Get More Extensions >>'. Select this.

6. In the search box type 'Chrome Live Football' and search.

7. Click on Chrome Live Football and then click on install. (it may download to a holding file in the bottom left as you look at it, in which case as soon as it's finished click there, but mostly it will install itself)

8. A small football will then appear in the top right (as you look at it). Click on that, select 'live stream' and reset the clock to GMT and it will list all the live games available all over europe and other places.

You may occasionally need to install other programmes or the link you pick will only work on Explorer (in which case cut and paste the URL into Explorer), but you will always get every EPL match (or any other). Sometimes you will only be able to find it with foreign commentary and sometimes you will get it in English. You'll get about thirty links and you may have to look through a lot of them to get what you want. You will also get most La Liga matches, Greek matches, Italian matches and French matches as well as top matches from South America.

Someone also asked about viruses etc. Google Chrome is actually far more secure than Internet Explorer so the risks are considerably less, but you should have decent virus/spyware programmes and run sweeps regularly as a matter of course.

The quality will also depend on the speed of your internet connection. If you have super-speed and have a modern HD TV, consider connecting your PC to the TV via the PC socket on the side/ back.

Cut and paste the above into a document and save it for future reference.

Agree4 Disagree1

A MAJOR study of European football has ranked Celtic fourth in terms of the highest number of active international players in the first-team squad. Only Barcelona in first place, followed by Manchester City and Real Madrid have a higher percentage of international players.

Believable16 Unbelievable2

Give me a link to this major study?

Agree3 Disagree1

A MAJOR study of European football has ranked Celtic fourth in terms of the highest number of active international players in the first-team squad. Only Barcelona in first place, followed by Manchester City and Real Madrid have a higher percentage of international players.

The demographic study by the CIES Football Observatory in Switzerland is based on detailed analysis of over 12,000 footballers at 500 clubs in the top divisions of 33 European clubs.

And the study defined an active internationalist as a player registered with a club in October 2011 who had played international football in 2011.

Celtic, with a squad of players who represent a number of different countries, were placed higher in the table ahead of teams such as Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Among the internationalists at Celtic are: Scott Brown, Kris Commons, Mark Wilson and James Forrest (Scotland), Georgios Samaras (Greece), Ki Sung Yueng and Cha Di Ri (South Korea), Beram Kayal (Israel), Joe Ledley and Adam Matthews (Wales), Victor Wanyama (Kenya), Daniel Majstorovic (Sweden), Emilio Izaguirre (Honduras), Paddy McCourt (N Ireland) and Mo Bangura (Sierra Leone).

Joining their ranks are Mikael Lustig (Sweden), while new Bhoys Rabiu Ibrahim (Nigeria) and Jaroslaw Fojut (Poland) are pushing for full international honours.

Highest number of active internationals by team in Europe's 33 major top divisions
1. Barcelona (81%)
2. Manchester City (73.1%)
3. Real Madrid (70.8%)

CIES Football Observatory: Demographic Study of Footballers in Europe 2012 {Ed007's Note - Thanks a lot for that mate.}

Agree6 Disagree1

Yeah but the players they have are trying to get into the national teams of Kenya, Greece, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, South Korea etc not exactly the cream of the international crop {Ed007's Note - How is the sour grapes business doing in the current precarious financial climate?}

Agree5 Disagree3

I think you'll find that Greece won the euros not too long ago you sad sack
Hoodbhoy

Agree7 Disagree0

South korea got world cup semis,greece won the euros,nigeria good at youth level and produce good players

Agree5 Disagree0

Fourth, is that all? You would have thought with the size of squad Celtic have they would have been 1st!!

TTG

Agree0 Disagree5

BOOM! you just got owned mate. green jhedi

Agree4 Disagree0

Don't think the size of the squad matters, it's calculated as a percentage

Agree1 Disagree0

TTG, its a percentage of first team players, not the number of.

Agree1 Disagree0

Bitter much?, cant even get trialist to last 2 days, and were littered with internationals, futures green and white!

Agree3 Disagree1

Unnamed poster,

Celtic have about 30 first team players though.....

TTG

Agree0 Disagree0

Doesn't matter how many players celtic have, it's based on a percentage of the squad.

I really do think that we should go got the big guy from norwich..holt, If they are lookng at him them we could certainly affordfhim, he strong good in the air. And good on the deck for a big guy. Ed have shown any interest in him...cheers markiebhoy. {Ed007's Note - Not that I know of.}

Believable7 Unbelievable4

I agree from the times i have watched him he looks a great target man! I also like mackail smith think he would be great

Skinnybhoy

Agree3 Disagree4

I have always said celtic missed the boat when mackail smith went to brighton another one for me was charlie austin we should have got him before he went to burnley from swindon

viewparkbhoy

Agree2 Disagree4

I have to disagree, Holt is not great - he reminds me of Gary Doherty who used to play for Tottenham. Stevie Morison of Norwich would be a better option, or even big John Carew who is at west ham

Agree1 Disagree6

Carew? really. green jhedi

Agree1 Disagree2

Aye Carew - We need another Big John!

Just seen this on newsnow £2mill not bad for a keeper getting better every game.

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Done well the last few months but I think £2m ia a bit too high, maybe £1m-£1.5m

Agree1 Disagree4

Pay It! Forster is only 24, ten years away from his peak and he's already turning into a class act.

I can honestly see him being an England international in future, admittedly this might not happen while he is still at Celtic.

Just a shout but big John Sutton could be a decent option for those torrid away days @ Motherwell, Inverness etc....better than Murphy and is settled in the SPL. Could thrive with decent ammunition?

Believable4 Unbelievable14

The die hards r wantin a bumper striker to come in nail this mob win this title and end this pain of the last 3 years, but geeks on here r shoutin about john sutton daly etc? Get a grip ffs

Agree4 Disagree3

Bloomin hell, a swear its gotta be suttions agent thats always on here pimping his name about. he aint got half the needed talent and we dont want him end of!

Hi Ed, Any news on Lustig, is he just not match fit?.

Where do you see him fitting in, right back or Centre back?

Bad Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - It is just his fitness/sharpness, he should be ready soon. I expect him to play at RB and act as cover for CB.}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

I think he will play on sunday along with ibrahim

Agree0 Disagree9

Not a chance sends the wrong message to players already here.got a wee sneaky ibrihim might make the bench.green jhedi

Agree6 Disagree1

New Bhoy Mikael Lustig has been in rehab for 10 days with a thigh strain, which forced him to miss yesterday's friendly, but he will return to training on Friday JAY1888KAY

Agree2 Disagree0

Is there a chance we might 'punt' Mathews if Lustig is to be right back?
I hope not as I think he has potential.
I reckon we are spoiled for right backs and at least one must be leaving?

Jungle Jim {Ed007's Note - Mark Wilson and Cha are both out of contract in the summer and I would expect them to move on, maybe even in this window yet. Matthews has been watched by LFC, he is one of many RBs they are considering to replace Glen Johnson.}

Agree0 Disagree2

Ed007: you think mathews might have a release clause since we got him for nothing? if not he needs a new agent! i would think 6m if it was me. green jhedi {Ed007's Note - I wouldn't think a young player would have a release clause, more likely he has clauses about appearances/performance related pay rises and bonuses.}

Agree0 Disagree2

God green jhedi have u got nothing better to do than just coming on here and talking mince!

Roman Pavlyuchenko on loan to Celtic!!! {Ed007's Note - Spurs have just invoked a clause in his contract for another year, taking it up to next summer.}

Believable2 Unbelievable11

Celtic couldnt afford his wages plus hes to good good for celtic and if im not mistaken he was linked with celtic a few year ago and he said more or less celtic are crap he said he would rather join rangers than go to celtic {Ed007's Note - Were you partaking in 'wild' mushroom or mind control experimentation at the time?}

Agree2 Disagree9

I actually posted this on monday night but didn't get on the site for some reason. Sort it out Ed! {Ed007's Note - Sort yourself out and leave a name. I have no idea who you are and FYI it is me that decides what gets posted and what doesn't. That is what being an editor means.}

Agree3 Disagree1

Wont happen!! Spurs wanting to use him as a short term loan deal to us if we sold them forrest!! Jog on harry

Skinnybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't afford his wages? That'd be a similar situation to Spurs not being able to afford Adebayors wages.. who's he playing for? We'd only be paying a percentage.

Bellamy was a better player than to be loaned to a SPL club, as was Robbie Keane.. they both ended up playing here.

Agree3 Disagree0

Take a chill pill Ed, it was a joke FFS! Hail Hail.
