just heard another rumour there ed robbie keane was offered to celtic today but rodgers said no thanks. before you ask ed aye it was on twitter, it said he will definitely join preston now, brace yourself ed the rumours will get madder in the next few days lol.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed007's Note - I wouldn't be surprised to see Keane end up at Sunderland.}

If true which I doubt it must be a loan as stoke want 12mill

vambo my fellow sahb fan who's telling you this?

Agree0 Disagree1

24 Jan 2017 19:37:37
Wouldn't surprise me. Stoke paid 1.5m for him he's got 18 months left on his contract! Could be a good piece of business.

24 Jan 2017 20:06:36
No at 12mill that's what tv reported today

24 Jan 2017 20:13:33
Had a look at his record and was very surprised at his stats. For some reason I had him pegged as a player who never fulfilled his early potential. His record is very good though given the standard he was playing at. Starting to warm to the idea, if indeed it was true.

A lad who is involved in Stoke's youth system reckons Bojan wants the deal. Stoke would prefer the big EPL bucks. even though they paid a small fee for him. it has been discussed that's for sure. more legs than Berahino to Sevco that's for sure

Sorry guys, mate phoned me saying his mate was working about CP today and seen him. I have been all over the internet looking and seen nothing.

25 Jan 2017 12:10:08
I know I shouldn't but seen the bookies have lowered the odds to 7/4 for bojan signing for us, 8m bid.

Agree0 Disagree1

25 Jan 2017 15:15:28
No chance we will sign bojan we won't pay 8million

Agree1 Disagree1

25 Jan 2017 16:20:05
the funny thing marco is we have the cash to pay 8m.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jan 2017 07:32:33
Yeah we do but it's not in our clubs plans to sign a 26yr old who won't have a big selling on price. The Bhoy from Belgium suits us better . sign him for 3 million and in a couple of years sell him for over 10 million plus percentage of future transfer fee

10 mins after I answer Jamesbhoy - That's the Christie loan deal been finalised.

funny feeling a winger coming in, strange he's loaned out before gms, even though i expected him, henderson and gms to be loaned out, i wouldn't have gave mciness anyone on loan.

Agree7 Disagree0

24 Jan 2017 18:28:32
Totally agree James! Wouldn't give mciness anything.

24 Jan 2017 18:58:59
I would as long as they finish second in the league

Agree1 Disagree4

24 Jan 2017 19:17:16
he won't give celtic one bit of praise, its always "the ref should have gave us a penalty before celtic scored their 4 goals" and "i thought we were the better team celtic road their luck" blah blah blah, he's just a hurting hun who hates the fact that we are miles better than the rest, in saying that i might have gave him efe and ciftci lol.

Agree5 Disagree0

24 Jan 2017 20:25:28
Yeah I agree with that James but I would still take them to finish 2 rather than New Co

Agree0 Disagree1

24 Jan 2017 20:44:25
i wouldn't want any of the two of them to finish second its just a pity inverness and st johnstone have fell away a bit this season.

Hope no truth in the Christie rumour, would really like to see him get a run in our team. Realise he might be a bit down the pecking order but would hope we can majorly rotate in spring md give him good few games.

Suppose it's ok if he gets a good run for Aberdeen but still think he should be at least coming on more for us.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Jan 2017 12:32:15
I think that because Maddison is out of the picture christie will have a lot of opportunity at Aberdeen and would start every game. Really think that valuable game time under Aberdeen will be beneficial to him. He would start in any team in the league bar us, him and tierney are the best Scottish youngsters in Scotland and I really think he'll grow into a great player. If he had Tierneys strength he'd be even better. I think that's something he'll be working on under Rodgers.

24 Jan 2017 12:43:43
I think this would be a great move all round. Could do a lot worse than Aberdeen. Guaranteed game time and challenging for 2nd place

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jan 2017 13:03:39
This will go down well In Govan and ghe bhoy will get game time no brainer

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jan 2017 13:23:26
theres no point in keeping the likes of christie, henderson, and gms if they're not getting a game, the boys are decent players who would be first choice starters at other clubs, i had high hopes for henderson when he came into the team under lennon but he hasn't kicked on like i thought he would, i wish the boys well if they do move on.

I agree with jamesbhoy. If we're trying to get quality over quantity, we have to be ruthless. I'd like Christie to go away and see how he does. As for Henderson, always impressed me, but when we're going out spending a few million on a CM who is younger than him, the writing is on the wall.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2017 14:09:29
I really like Young Christie, I hope he goes and works hard at Aberdeen. Then returns with more strength he has quality 👍🇳🇬

Young Henderson has come on too, his energy in games is fantastic but again I would loan out why not to Spain or similar to learn new styles of play

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jan 2017 14:56:01
Would be pretty amusing if we sent out 2 or 3 fringe players to Aberdeen. the Sevconians would be raging. No one is a threat to us winning the league so why not send some players there for some well needed game time plus try prevent that cretins from finishing 2nd.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jan 2017 15:32:15
ed even if they finish second will they not be allowed to play in europe due to their books not being in order or is that just a myth?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - No it's not a myth mate. Even if TRIFC manage to finish in a Euro spot they are not guaranteed entry and will need to apply for special dispensation from UEFA because they are seriously failing FFP.}

24 Jan 2017 15:54:43
Do the sfa have to do it on their behalf ed007?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - The matter would be referred to UEFA's Club Financial Control Body and TRIFC will have to submit future financial information to prove they stand a chance of meeting the break-even calculation in the near future.
That group will study the club's finances and consider the severity of the breach and other factors, such as the overall trend of the club's books.
JimTim, I'm going to leave your post and ask Ed002 to get it.}

24 Jan 2017 16:12:31
No worries mate I think you pretty much answered it in the info you put after Kev's post. Any extra particulars Ed002 might have wouldn't go a miss.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - (yes)

24 Jan 2017 15:58:23
Why have a 'rule' if there are ways around it? Does it just depend on how much over the line with regards to FFP you are? Because I'm sure there was a team recently banned from Europe for that (thinking Turkish/ Russian club) .

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It is not going to be an immediate issue to Rangers but they will be given nthe opportunity to get back on the right side financially within a period determined by UEFA - typically two to three years. They will require dispensation in the interim.}

24 Jan 2017 16:26:43
Thanks for that Ed002, much appreciated.

Cheers Bond 👍

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - No probs mate.}

24 Jan 2017 17:19:08
has the christie loan to aberdeen went through ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - |There's nothing official yet but he's supposedly up there for talks with them today.}

24 Jan 2017 21:06:05
Hi Ed, Do know you know if there will be any sanctions if TRIFC didn't these requirements within that timeframe?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - They would not be allowed to play in Europe.}
