with mulgrew being a revelation a cb i personnally wouldnt have him anywhere near lb as i believe he is far too left footed to play that position as he too often gets himself caught with nowherer to go down the line as he cant move the ball on his right foot wheras at c he has more room to play himself into good positions

Believable4 Unbelievable16

Mulgrew would be my player of the year, agreed his best position is cb but don't have a problem with him at lb or lm, it was him and Stokes that stood up in the 3 each killie game that started us on our present run

Agree0 Disagree0

Mulgrew along with most has matured into an excellent player. I would be comfortable with him playing anywhere Lenny plays him. Mistakes are now at a minimum and that goes for all the Bhoys.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mulgrew IS my player of the year . Why would any Celtic supporter come on and post utter pash .Good to c u back by the way ED..........DH {Ed001's Note - not as glad as I am! My head was hurting through deciphering wee Pat's posts. I have been on the Rosetta Stone website, but they don't do his language, not that I am actually sure what language it is.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you watch the Hearts game? He was awesome at left back. Scotlands player of the year for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

I kind a agree with original poster, hes a better cb now than a lb. His passing and general contribution is more evident when he is in the middle, hes our own Franz Beckenbaur

Agree0 Disagree0

I was on Radio Clyde on Thursday night about Charlie - he has matured into a genuine Utility player ,able to play well in several positions . It was great to see him score from long range in open play - a great weapon against a packed defence

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes a decent c.b. but never really been tested in scotland, imo as a l.b. he is very poor defensively and too often gets caught out of position.
it would be good if it was possible to see all the guys who we are rating highly just now being tested at a higher level but it looks more likely we will have less competition instead with rangers going rapidly down the tube.

Don't know if I've missed anything but what happened to the 17year old we had an eye on. And ed do you know when the work permit for Ibrahim is going to go through/ has went through?

Chad {Ed007's Note - Ibrahim has a work permit.}

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Is it just basically fitness/gelling with the team is why he's not been seen then?

Bhoys/Ghirls how about this for a
topical tip there is a horse called
Hector's Choice running at Kempton 3.05
should be about 7/1 mark, and all
the bears reading this any winnings
are TAX FREE! hail hail Timalloy

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Not a huge betting man so just shoved a quid on it at 15/2.

But with the way luck is going for Rangers fans - Jelavic, the obvious administration, poor form on the field, dodgy refereeing decisions, newspaper covers; and more subtle stuff like the reverse league table standings (H-M-R-C), being reminded every drive of the points gap (twenty's plenty signs) and even being laughed at by a Cornetto at Tesco - this horse has to be considered a dead cert.

Agree0 Disagree0

I stuck a 5r on Hector this morning, it finished 2nd. was unlucky, it was leading with 3 fences left but started jumpin poorly

Agree0 Disagree0

Hectors choice was second, nacarat won the race 9/2.

We domt do arithmetic.some goon.by the name of J.says he,d be happy to cancel his season ticket, and pay a tenner for entry to the paupers home games, and if 40,000 also done this,it would bring in £4m per game.really?could you make this stuff up?artybhoy

How can the daily rag of actually printed this bile? It wasn't even subtle, and from what I remember they were not exactly sympathetic when we had our own financial troubles. I will never again buy that rag. On a lighter note rogne signing is great news, he has developed into a solid defender.

this might just be a top story next week lol
there next home game is against mad vlad's 11
do you honestly think he will hand over the ticket money they will be seeking for sale of away tickets for that game ?

Lubo25

Vlad's boys will get the points as Rangers will be in liquidation!

Think the Duff and Phelpers will sell them themselves , no way Vlad would hand it over and they know it.

Of the 12000 or so alleged people who have signed up to support R*****s at saver*****s.com...
How many are actually Celtic fans doing it for a laugh. I myself have pledged £7500 to help. Knowing the fact that I will NEVER give them a penny of support. It will be good if they get enough people to pledge and then when push comes to shove 60% of the money that was needed has been falsely pledged by us Bhoys and Ghirls.....

14/02/2012 the day I nearly had a heart attack laughing!

Believable13 Unbelievable4

You really are a hatred filled twisted individual. We are tryiong to do our bit to save our team, that is all. Celtic fans should relate to that from the days post 1994. You have won the league prob treble just enjoy it, we are in hell so the football doesnt matter. J

Agree0 Disagree0

Girls stop spouting p***.they are trying to save their club and you are telling to tell us you pretended to donate £7500.to donate that amount off money takes a personal phone call to there trusts.hope your ex directory.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I think you are a sick sort of human being, I only hope Celtic don't fall into a mess in the future, football is a game not a religion, don't fall into a bigoted trap, be it Celtic or Rangers, ordinary dinner ladies lives are at stake have some sympathy

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a Celtic man thru and thru but mate this is indeed sick leave the Rankers fans to try an save there club an I for one hope they do .... To dominate Scottish football for years to come... Moan the hoops

Agree0 Disagree0

Shut up what he done is hilariass and every celtic fan should do it rangers fans realy do hav short memorys

Agree0 Disagree0

They would do exactly the same to us , are above posters too young to remember supporting Celtic thru the 90's, believe me the gloating from them was brutal. I for one wish them more misery...... Stevie ... p.s away to donate a few more grand them ha ha

Agree0 Disagree0

My mates boy and all his mates have been pledging for days......all tims!

Agree0 Disagree0

To answer previous posts against me doing this.... when it comes to R*****s I am a twisted individual. I despise them, they have done nothing in 140 years that I could even rank as acceptable. I have passed the link to many Celtic fans hoping they do the same as me, the world would be a better place without them. I have left my number and have no fear in them ringing up asking for the money. Just like some of you, like them, you just don't get it. I remember in the 90's they never gave us any support, in truth they rubbed it right up us ANY DECENT Celtic fan who attended the dark days of the pre McCann era would do the same. As for the first post reply, you are in hell football doesn't matter....since when did football matter to you lot...

Agree0 Disagree0

The best method is to sign up nd pladge small amounts then have them running around chasing their tails..... They know quite quickly that the large amounts and daft names are bogus, lets be serious and make the game diffucult for hector.

It sounds like you mean 'celtic TV'. its the official celtic broadcast of all home and away league matches. you dont always get all cup matches live due to broadcasting rights, but 7/10 of them are live. well worth it if you live outside of the Uk but if you live in the UK, you cant get live video due to rights. you get to watch the full game on a delayed broadcast (around 11-12 at night). http://www.celticfc.tv

like to have a word for a player who imho aint getting as much praise as he should be getting step forward Kelvin Wilson. the guy has been solid in defence and after the injury he has come back and looks the part and Rogne and Kelvin seem to have a good understanding and with matthews and mulgrew either side the defence is rock solid. so praise were praise is due to big Kelvin Wilson

Lubo25

Believable13 Unbelievable2

He's doing well and has pace. rogne has been solid too and charlie has been immense all season, love mathews and I'm so happy that we have izzy coming back. lustig is also nearing ful fitness so really interested on how lenny keeps the defenders happy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree about KW. I got pelters again! this time for defending this guy, you will recall he had a howler against Rangers and there were many reasons for this. That debate is over but here we are a fit KW and what, he is playing great. I agree the confidence in and from the whole team helps but I have always rated this guy. Nice to see the fans getting behind him. Rogne, again I always had faith, and the reason is the reports from Norway were 5 star. NL and his backroom staff cannot be praised highly enough in rehabilitating KW and developing Rogne to this level.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with this post. Yes the big man had a howler against Rangers but up until that game i thought he looked a great signing. Little did we know he was carrying an injury in the build up to it but to his credit he's come back in and yet again looked more than comfortable in there.

PS also note the Mulgrew comments... he must be up there for player of the year. Not the superstar name or skillful player who would usually win it but when the chips were down he was always there, never once let us down.

Having said that Ledley, Wanyama, Brown, Hooper, Stokes, Forrest etc along with the rest should be proud of themselves in the last few months. we had a bad start but this lot are A TEAM, OUR TEAM and one we are all proud of

Hail Hail

ED007 now you are back, let's start
with some happy news (although at
Celtic Park everything is happy just now)
See club have announced our own
Thai Tims coming over April/May I
heard that concerts are also planned,
can you give us any details as to where
to buy tickets? I just can't get enough

Have been thinking off a reply to that column of hate ly today . But I think the best thing every fan off Celtic Football Club could do is boycott this embarrassment of a so called news paper . Just let the orcs buy the cheaper version of the rankers newiz .

TamBhoy1974

Believable14 Unbelievable1

I couldnt believe it when i read it. Calls it a tainted title without backing it up, then says we shouldnt be calling any Rangers wins tainted as its inflammatory. Guys a joke.

I have not bought a Daily Record or Sunday MAil for nearly 20 years and I know of few Celtic supporters who do and it seems from several posts on here that Hateley has been given a free hand to express his biased and bitter column to attack Celtic and rally the ranks of his beleagered brethern.
I would suggest that Celtic fans do as I do and let the circulation numbers crumble and die like the club they have so clearly favoured and endorsed since John Bull sold them a printing block.
They belong together... in oblivion.

Couldn't agree more

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen tae urself like charlie nicholas dosnt do the same

Agree0 Disagree0

As I said I do not read or buy it so I don't know what Charlie Noicholas has to do with it? My boycott of those papers goes back to Alex Cameron, Gerry McNee and the likes who wrote slanted anti-Celtic reports and columns and fell into the category that Hugh Taylor once dubbed 'Supporters with typewriters' but that may be before your time? But their counterparts are going strong apparently.

Jungle Jim

Agree0 Disagree0

I for one will never buy these papers ver again and would ask all fellow tims to do the same. Hit them where it hurts.

i see someone bragging on the dark page that 9278 have pledged money to save the club even if they were all genuine , which i doubt and even if they all pledged the max £2000 thats about 1.8 million , big wow , if the taxman doesn't take the main creditor would ie mr whyte . oh and by the way it's an opinion poll not a pledge , how many of them would disappear when it came to handing over their bank details , to officially make it a pledge, billybhoy

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Before anyone from the dark side jumps on it it would be 18odd million.

Agree0 Disagree0

None is the answer to that. Every Gers man I know has pledged something. Celtic fans helped their club in 94 why6 cant we? We dont do walking away...

Agree0 Disagree0

Can believe people would help out but would be very surprised if nearly 10,000 people had £2,000 spare to put into a football club.

I would help Celtic if they were in same position but i don't have anything like that lying around or tucked under my matress.

Agree0 Disagree0

I have looked in my biscuit tin and sorry I have no spare cash for them.

Ian(For every £1 Celtic spend Rangers will pay their creditors 10p)

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a totally pointless site where you can pledge monopoly money to try and save Rangers...a lot of pledges have come from Celtic fans to make a mockery of it.
