James McCarthy and Omar Niasse both available on loan from Everton, take both of them asap.

We don't need McCarthy and he is more injury prone than our entire squad.

McCarthy broke his leg earlier this year making a last ditch tackle would hardly call that injury prone.

Not including his broken leg, he has had about 7 injuries at Everton causing him to miss 10games on average each time, he has been at Everton 3/ 4years now. I would say that's injury prone.

That right ice man?

Ok here goes.

2010/ 11 Oct 23rd - jan 10th. 79 days

2014/ 15 Nov 9th - jan 31st. 27 days hamstring

2016/ 17 Aug 23rd - Oct 5th. 43 days groin

2016/ 17 Dec 19th- jan 7th. 19 days

2016/ 17 Mar 24th - June 30th 98 days

2017/ 18 Aug 11th - Oct 17th 67 days

2017/ 18 Oct 25th - Dec 26th 62 days

{Ed007's Note - If you got that from transfermarkt I doubt it's accurate, but if you're into that have a look at Scott Browns over the same period and he hasn't had a DOUBLE leg break....

www.transfermarkt.com/scott-brown/verletzungen/spieler/12688

Tom Rogic:

www.transfermarkt.com/tom-rogic/verletzungen/spieler/213672

Leigh Griffiths:

www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leigh-griffiths/verletzungen/spieler/45611

James Forrest:

www.transfermarkt.com/james-forrest/verletzungen/spieler/84992

All seem to be as 'injury prone' as James McCarthy.......

And even KT has had 3 spells out this year injured:

Maybe time to cash in on him if he's starting to miss so long?

Jeez Dr Kev. You got the guys whole medical history there. 😂Sounds like some bull there to me. 206 days missed with hamstring injuries I ain't buying it. Look I'm not doubting the guy has had his fair share of injuries but imo I think he'd be a great addition to our squad and could well replace Brown providing he stays injury free 😉.

In fact big Sam said he was mentally scarred by his injury record and how often he injured the same area.

Rumours on balotelli. Any news ed.

{Ed007's Note - Brexit is a farce and the Gatwick drone is a false flag.}

23 Dec 2018 23:40:03
Ed I have been quite vocal about how often rogic is injured, as have you.
Forrest was certainly an injury prone player until the last few years.
Griffiths with the exception of what he is going through I'd say he's becoming injury prone as well.
Even Scott Brown a lot of people were saying he was to injury prone until Rogers came in.

I did get that info from transfer market but there is no way anyone can say McCarthy doesn't break down regularly.
I think wilshere is a great player but wouldn't sign him for same reason.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - My point is every player misses games with niggling injuries throughout the season - take out McCarthy's double leg break and his injury record is no worse than some of our star players. Most of Jack Wilshere's 'injuries' were cover ups for failed drug tests.}

24 Dec 2018 10:59:12
Talking of Injury prone players Andy Carrol Wtf?!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - that is a man who missed over a year because he fell off a bar stool drunk at a casino owned by Derek Llambias. And when I say drunk, I mean absolutely blind drunk and it was less than 48 hours before a game. Almost all, if not all, of his injuries can be traced back to the effects of his heavy drinking.}

24 Dec 2018 13:44:03
I still say get him signed just for the nights out! 😂.

24 Dec 2018 14:13:53
Silly boy wonder if players like that ever look back in regret at what they could have done! On his day he’s unplayable sadly that’s once every 3/ 4 years.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - With the money in the modern game I doubt many of them will.}

24 Dec 2018 16:57:14
Just send us up all the junkies and alkies I'm sure Super Slipper could use them.

Scotzine story linking us with loan for McCartney today 😂 I can't see it with Nir back from injury we have too many players in that position as it is and it's not an area we need to waste money on.

Surely not the Defoe and Caroll rumours again. Can these people not make up new material 😡😡.

23 Dec 2018 12:01:18
Eh? has mikey Carrol won the lotto again?

23 Dec 2018 12:02:24
I said a few days ago I'd take Carroll. He's a big, route 1 type of striker which we don't have atm. I wouldn't be willing to pay too much of his wages right enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2018 13:11:18
Kevbhoy

Celtic don't play route 1 football. Brendan is actually trying to play football by keeping the ball and fast tempo passing.

Think route 1 football is finished in modern football.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2018 14:15:34
I didn't say we do, or should, play route 1 football. What I said is that he is the type of striker who can play route 1 - meaning big and physical - which we don't have right now. Since Dembele left we don't have anybody who can bully defenders and put themselves about.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2018 14:21:12
He's never off the treatment table and it would be a loan his wages are a prob also.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Dec 2018 15:02:29
Carroll is an injury prone dud. Defoe is well past it.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2018 15:31:40
Defoe would score goals but I'd prefer someone younger but big Andy is never fit.
Guys like him McCarthy and wilshere are as well retiring.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2018 15:40:12
I wouldn't touch either of them to be honest, as I've said before if we can make it happen I'd go for the lad Pavkov from Red Star Belgrade or maybe Origi on Loan from Liverpool.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Dec 2018 16:03:17
Uninspiring if true. Both would score goals if fit but would rather we invested a good chunk of the Dembele money buying someone who will make a profit down the line. Rather we loan one and buy one striker as the loan comes 2 an end we'll hopefully have Griffiths back. So spend the money on a target man and loan a poacher would be ideal.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Dec 2018 20:38:09
Wasn’t Carroll the first player that Brendan got rid of at Liverpool?!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - He wasn't the first but he wasn't far off it.}
