James Forrest is to see a specialist about a long standing siatica problem don't know what a siatica is

Hoopybhoy

Believable8 Unbelievable7

Hoopy seeattica is the bit above yur hoose ya eejit

Agree1 Disagree1

Its a collapsing of the ass when confronted by an opponent!

Agree2 Disagree2

Nerve damage which causes pain emanating from around the buttock, travels down the leg to the foot - its blinking agony!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's obvioulsy something that stops him getting past opposition players.
Sasseanch

Agree1 Disagree0

Seriously Hoopybhoy. I suffer from sciatia and it is murder. Terrible back and hip pain. If James has this he has my sympathy JK

Agree0 Disagree0

Sciatica is very painful in lower back thighs and upper leg.

Agree0 Disagree0

I was being serious I didn't know what it was but he's to see a specialist Lennon says he's started dragging his leg (que the jokes)

Hoopybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop slagging a young HOOP, He might be overrated but he is still a Hoop. with a we bit of experience, who knows. al geri.

Agree0 Disagree1

He's got FOUR years of experience now- as experienced a celtic player as there is, just about, in the current squad. The guys attitude and performances stink.

Doesn't try enough- ain't nobody got the time nor patience to watch him amble around. Waste of a jersey 8/10.

Jamie mac

Agree2 Disagree3

Might explain some of the lacklustre performance, i've suffered with a trapped sciatic nerve twice in the past and it really is painful. best of luck to him - I do think we need somebody to provide competition for his position though so he ups his game a bit when he's back fit.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish him well, but he is an average player who should not be in the Celtic team sell him and bring in a better player

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Iv lost my sciatica, canny find it anywhere haha

SOS BHOY

Agree0 Disagree2

Algeri NOW that's what's called being a CELTIC supporter mate.
Tambhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

The mostfrustrating thing about James forest is when he feels he's been wronged and runs after the ball aimlessly with his arms flaying at his side! He looks like a crow being chased by a seagull! Tony

Agree0 Disagree0

haha yeah- geri must be on to a promise tonight!

Agree0 Disagree0

Sciatica is a painful condition which causes walking problems. My mate had it.
I met him in the street one day and he was hobbling, could hardly walk he was in so much pain. I asked what was wrong and he told me sciatica. I asked what he meant and he pointed to his new shoes and said,
"See, a take a 6 and these are a 5 1/2!" {Ed007's Note - In the name of God....there's two of them!}

Agree0 Disagree0

You will probably find it is to do with the type of car he drives, and the positioning of the seat. As a youngster, Giggs, when he had all his flash motors, used to have seats which were practically on the floor, which resulted in back and hammy problems when he had to push up and out of the car.

Samson

Agree0 Disagree0

Slightly off topic but I think Adam Matthews should be pushed forward as a right midfielder and Efe Ambrose moved to right back(because he's not a centre half) in competition with Lustig. Matthews is awesome going forward and look what it did for Bale's career!!

James Forrest is the Sylvester Stallone of the football world - He's playing in the top tier but nobody can quite understand why? :-]

Agree0 Disagree0

About him wearing the wrong size of boots
Specillist said what size do you wear
He said
Im wearing an8
Seatica 9.

Lenny has just signed a new 1 year rolling contract.

S

Believable12 Unbelievable10

PL should be working on a couple of decent players instead. a decent defender and a capable striker to get us into UCL. Last year we were hailed around the world, now we are being laughed at by a team who are 300 places behind us. hardly great PR working on the NL contract in the same week if you ask me. REALLY still annoyed at this but don't question my love and loyalty for the team. This is purely about penny pinching this past couple of months. I am sure I am not the only one thinking the same. SB

Agree3 Disagree0

No new players can play in the second leg

SOS BHOY

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard lenny wanted a clause in his contract if a club comes in that he deems bigger than celtic he can leave and the board wanted a clause that they can terminate due to results (dont shoot the messenger) {Ed007's Note - There wouldn't need to be any such clauses in a one year rolling contract and no manager would EVER sign a contract with a clause that he will be sacked if the board don't like results. If he gets sacked all he will get is one years' salary as a settlement payment. More and more clubs are signing their manager on rolling contracts, it gives both the option to part ways at the end of every season without any legal ramifications.
As for leaving for a bigger club, who judges if it is a bigger club, NL could think it is and PL could argue it wasn't, just like opposition fans do. Southampton fans think that Wanyama moved to a 'bigger' club.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I may be wrong but was he not already on a 1 year rolling contract and why a rolling contract do the board not have enough faith in him to offer him a long term contract. I have a feeling that lennon will leave come the end of this season. his demeanour in the last few weeks has not been the same as it has been in recent seasons. {Ed007's Note - A lot of clubs's use rolling contracts. Pardew at Newcastle is on a one-year rolling contract with an 8 year option, it will take him that long to pay back his gambling debts to Ashley and Llambias. They were also the reason Moyes could leave Everton for Man Utd so easily. It really makes no difference and has nothing to do with anyone having faith in anyone else. I really don't see why the the topic is a matter of discussion.}

Agree0 Disagree0

And? al geri.

Agree0 Disagree0

N av jist sined a new rollin kaerpit so fkn wit!

Agree0 Disagree0

Jiggythetim, BIGGER THAN CELTIC?TAKE IT JESUS IS BACK,,,,,,, THE SECOND COMING. al geri.

Agree0 Disagree0

Martin O'Neil and wee Gordon were on rolling contract's were they not
Tambhoy {Ed007's Note - MON was, I forgot about him Tam, not sure about WGS but there is a very good chance of it. It really has no relevance.}

Just been confirmed section 111 opened again (I wonder why) good news though just hope they cut out all the nonsense.Stevie

Believable17 Unbelievable7

Aye now CFC need them! Like I've said in previous posts I love what the GB bring to CP but they need to cut out the stuff that gets the club into trouble. I wouldn't be shocked if the GB didn't turn up on weds night to prove a point.

S

Agree3 Disagree1

No petulance please! Now is the time for everybody to pull together as a team for our club.
Hopefully the GB can make a huge positive contribution to our impending euro tie. providing witty fun, atmosphere and leading the songs without body surfing, lateral movement, inappropriate songs and flares.
If you don't have a seat in that section don't go there.

Agree1 Disagree0

Have we all bought our tickets for Stan's charity match?

Agree0 Disagree2

The Club and the Green Brigade have got together and come to an understanding

It's really good to see common sense prevailing

Agree1 Disagree1

They will turn up and behave for few games then it will be back to their usual rubbish. To listen to some people you'd think Celtic FC couldn't cope without them. They've been around for a few years and Celtic coped before that and will longer after they've gone.

Agree1 Disagree0

S why do Celtic need them, you contradict yourself by adding you hope they behave. Is that not why Celtic moved them out in the first place
Tambhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic don't need them and the reason 111 was closed because the GB refused to listen to the club after being warned about several issues. As I said earlier, the club have got on for years without them and will carry on fine long after they have gone.

Apparently Celtic have clinched a deal with French foward Nolan Roux with the fee being agreed at around 4.2 million euros. However the deal won't be completed til late Sunday night early Monday morning have it on good accord from within Celtic.

Believable27 Unbelievable20

Hope this 1 is true I really like him he's a good goal scorer jean-Paul would know a lot about him

Hoopybhoy

Agree1 Disagree1

His stats.

2008–2009
Lens. Games (1) - Goals (0)
2009–2012
Brest. Games (81) - Goals (25)
2012-Present
Lille. Games (62) - Goals (17)

SB

Agree0 Disagree1

Am quite surprised by this - he is not a player who has stood out for me (I am NOT saying he is bad - just that I haven't noticed him, but I certainly don't watch them regularly). Bear in mind this is a club that has had Solomon Kalou playing up front for the last season. That said - the fee being talked about is serious money - so he must have something to offer. Jean-Pierre Laguerre

Agree0 Disagree0

You've got to remember, he is a substitute; a lot of apps may only be 10 minutes etc. Also, don't forget the french league (legue 1?) is much better than the spl.

I would be delighted to get this lad. Watched him a few times last season and he's quite good. I think with a good run in a team and a bit of training he could be a real find

I Don't think we will sign anyone till after the game on Wednesday, which will leave only 3 days to get a player or two in.Gbhoy {Ed007's Note - The window is open until Monday 2nd September, it never shuts at the weekend.}

Just a thought. hope he brings his cousin Michel and we can challenge Delia's club Norwich in the catering field also. lol Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Never heard of him but his stats are pretty reasonable.
I think we're at a bit of a standstill with signings until next week. I reckon we'll wait to see if we qualify then go for a decent player otherwise it will be a lesser quality guy with only Europa League to offer them.
It's a bit late for us to be making a snap signing because he/they can't help us against Shakhter so there will be lots of rumours and mentions but until a player has actually signed then he hasn't signed, if you know what I mean, and the wild speculation by the media does little to ease the mood of our fans.

Cameron Stewart hull city any one know anything about the lad, think it close but don't see point in loaning Dylan out if this boy no better, not what we need either in my opinion

Believable8 Unbelievable11

Dylan has been a real disapointment recently. I don't think it's what we need either bud. Fresh blood maybe.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dylan Had a solid game against Liverpool, if any winger is a disappointment at celtic its Forrest. I'd have mcgeough in infront of forrest, could be the kick up the ar$e he needs because he is doing nothing for me from about his 10th game in the team till now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed Sella77, any time I see Forrest's name on the teamsheet (which is too often for my liking) I automatically think we're playing with 10 men again, because he is pants. But at least he is consistently pants! lol

Hail Hail
ChrisBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennons words of praise after his debut went to his head and he's been $hite ever since. Goes down too easy looking for freekicks. he should be skinning defenders down the wing. doesn't do it enough for me at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with you guys would like to see how many people think forrest is worth a position in the team I hate slating celtic players but just don't think he's good enough or contributes enough also hate him constantly looking for a free kick when he's had the ball taken off him

Morgybhoy

Agree1 Disagree0

I like Dylan to be honest and agree maybe Forrest should be dropped, but think Gary Mackay Stephens better than both of them, if we looking at wingers would think he be a great addition but we need to strengthen other areas first

Agree0 Disagree0

The way we played the other night we are in no position to loan out our young players who have potential.julieghirl
