Todays attendance was shocking i guess between 33 & 36 thousand . I dont care what peopel say but a large part has to go down to no Rangers in the league . Todays attendance has to be our worst home gate for a saturday 3pm kick off since the sack the board days . We used to get the buzz going to games after rangers dropped points but now everything is flat.

I do understand loads of missing people would be from kids season books who would not pay for there ticket for todays game but not 20 thousand .

Everyone crawls out there hole for Auld Firm games at Ibrox and cup final tickets but cant seem to bother about sertain league games .

I for one think celtic should use a program to see who is going to our games on a regular basis and determine who gets tickets that way .

I'm sick of going to all the home games , most away games and cup games but when it comes to games that matter other people get tickets . It would be good to pick and choose what game you want to go to but i for one think the most important game is always our next one. So people should attend.

The crowd according to BBC site was 41,079

Mate it's 6 for an under 16 at ibrox tomorrow. 17 for the same at Celtic park. You do the math. If it was even a tenner we would get thousands more. How can Celtic justify 29 for a ticket to see Celtic v Dundee. If they want more there then they will have to budge on the prices.

It's not the only reason sevco have higher crowds but its a MAJOR FACTOR! {Ed007's Note - I know a few fans who are in Blackpool (it's September weekend remember) and a few who are in Donegal for a music festival. I totally agree though that the fiasco over pricing for this game was a major PR blunder. The club were warned that the Sinday Snail were going to get involved but chose to ignore the man in the street over it.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Re. attendanCes: I was a Jungle Bhoy back in the 1960s. Average gate then was c.30,000, save for Euro nights & contests v. the other mob (can't remember who they were). Plus la change.

Agree0 Disagree0

Over pricing . I hate people who moan about the price of our rickety but then moan we don't make big signings .

I pay a lot for my season book so why would Celtic then drop the price to 10 pounds then it would be cheaper for everyone to to get ticket by ticket.

My point is people are just choosing there games and crawl out there hole for big games yet people like me who go to almost all matches get stuck looking for tickets for rhetoric big games.

Agree0 Disagree0

The swingeing swinney budget to the councils is rock bottom, North Lanarkshire are laying off 1300 people. There's a recession on. People need to eat.(but not like zombies lol).

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic fans who only attend big games do so for multitudes of reasons. Celtic FC is very happy to see them. They are Celtic supporters and part of the Celtic family. They most certainly do not crawl out their holes. How inappropriate!

Agree1 Disagree0

You must be one of the hole crawlers then . This Celtic family thing is a load of pish . Peter made it up get get fan to the game . If I don't have any money Celtic don't say oh here a free cup ticket as you are family if you can't pay your not in the family.

And I'm saying tickets for the big games should go to fans who attend all the home games and away games . Not to fans who think oh it's a cup final I think i'll go

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Celtic are looking at helping poorer families and fans get a ticket for match day. I also appreciate the above posters frustrations but CFC are a family. We do have a common heritage and for generations have shared in our struggle for equality and fairness on and off the pitch. One of the few places on this earth that I truly feel at home is at Celtic park on match day with my hombres and fellow Hoops fans. For its a Grand old team to play for..... Sopot Celt

Agree0 Disagree0

Most of the rangers end was unsold yesterday because we were supposed to be playing the team dundee replaced. So around 8000 season books didn't attend. Also sept weekend. Plus Donegal played in the all Ireland final today. A lot of reasons.
Also there is a loss of interest with no rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic are offering ex-pat fans like me a season ticket offer where I buy the ticket but it is used by some poor local fan. I get my name on the seat for a season and can go to 4 games. fat chance living in NZ

So because I work in the hospitality industry and have to work most saturdays, I shouldnt be allowed a ticket when I get a day off? B******t!

Mikey Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I had to give up my season book and take a second job to support my family, so if i get a ticket for a game through the generosity of a friend does that make me any less of a supporter? sorry pal, i love celtic but my family mean much much more to me.

Artur Boruc has signed for Southampton all the best big man, another story we can put to bed.

Not bad performance today overall.

Ed I've checked a few fixture sites and they all state next weeks game away to Motherwell is a 3 pm kick off! Which would suggest this will not be televised! Can you confirm this Ed as I find it strange they would not televise this game!!

Ice man {Ed007's Note - The club's official fixture list is showing it as a 3 p.m kick-off.}

Its because we play the following Tuesday so we have to play Saturday. Arsenal v Chelsea is a Sat morning live game on Sky. They wont want anything in its way.

love the new shirt. after looking on the webstore, there's no option to buy one without a sponsor. from reading this over the last few months i get the idea jungle bhoy works in one of the stores, so if you don't mind me asking - do you know if any of the 125th anniversary shirts will be available without a sponsor on please mate? won't stop me from buying one if there aren't any but i always prefer the ones without a sponsor.

good result today as well, time to put some good results together and get the league locked down. had trouble finding a link to watch it all though - did lassad play well? kevslug.

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Shirts shouldnt be available without the sponsorship (except childrens), or maybe ee should charge double for the tops where fans are happy for a sponsor to give money but arent willing to wear it

Agree0 Disagree0

There WON'T be any unsponsored or long sleeves in this kit at all.Adults will only be able to buy short sleeve sponsored only and boys will only be short sleeve. You will still be able to get the infant and little boys kits.

Jungle Bhoy.

Hi guys was wondering if all those who thought we could win the league with the youth team this seaon, still think the same as they did? And also do u think hooper should be dropped to the bench for a few games till he gains sharpness or even gets his appetite to play for the hoops back? I feels he's become lazy and dis-interested now, young tony watt should be getting a start ahead of him as he has scored more goals than hooper this season...wouldn't be hard to be honsest with the way he is playing!

Believable3 Unbelievable8

He works so hard and link up play is great! Not lazy just unlucky and guess what? hes just scored so stop talking bloody nonsense!

Agree0 Disagree1

No talking nonsense, 1 goal in 6 league games? Good enough for a celtic striker, last year sammy was gettin hounded for the same stats! Aye link up play is good, but u need a finishing product to that link up play, it all one coming into mid-field to link up play, need to follow that through with getting into decent positions, yeah fair enough he's a good player on his day...just not had enough good days from him recently! I'm not calling for his head or anything, u don't become a bad player overnight, and he's far from a bad player...just feel he needs a kick up the backside. This season he's been nowhere near where he was last season, again if it was sammy or even stokes people would be calling for them to be dropped, just because its hooper its allowed! I don't talk nonsense have been watching the hoops for 30 years so I know what I'm talking about!

Agree0 Disagree0

Explain how U gain sharpness sitting on the bench?

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think anybody said we could win the league with youth players. What I and few others said was we should give the youth players a chance in the first XI this season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe hooper and the team are missing stokes ,who imo gets far more criticism than he deserves,,,,deep river bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe the slating Hooper has been getting this season....have you seen the way we've been playing lately? the service to our strikers has been woefull, meaning Hooper in particular has had to come deep to collect the ball. if you actually watch him in games instead of jumping on his back for the lack of goals, you'd see that he's all over the park, helping getting the ball shifted out of defence, and bringing in the likes of commons and forrest, who for me deserves the grief far more than hooper.
forrest hasn't produced the goods for the best part of a year now, yet rarely gets slated.
i saw stats the other week that showed hooper had covered more ground in one game than forrest had in 3! yeh....lazy & uninterested right enough.....get a grip!
