He's a proper defenders who actually likes defending and attacks the ball in both boxes! I thought he would of been a good signing. Not a big name but hard solid defender is what we don't have right now.

We’ve reached the Champions League the last 2 seasons yet can’t agree deals for players from Aberdeen and Hibs.
I didn’t think we should be singing McKenna anyway but clearly whoever the next target is is below him on the list of names. That’s a worrying thought.
Surely there must be a centre back on the continent who is:
1) Affordable
2) Wants to join
And most importantly
3) Is better than the bang average players either already in the squad or who we’ve been linked with.

This bid is nothing but a smoke screen to make it look like we are trying to sign players. The club have been nothing but embarrassing this season and things better get improving ASAP.

Kev T you are spot on. Said it today too. All we will have is being linked with a few players like mc kenna and Bruma and in the end excuses saying they tried but couldn't get it done before the window. It's clear to see that we need to get a CB asap.

Reading the comments from Rogers it seems clear to me we aren’t getting anyone in this window. He’s teeing up he doesn’t want anything but quality. I’m expecting the we tried but the quality we needed justvwasntbthere, line. I hope I’m wrong but something doesn’t seem right.

I agree with you Magicpole Yes we had CBs but a blind man could see they weren't of the standard we needed for a push for the CL that should have been addressed right at the opening of the window some one was to blame for that I just can't get my head around why they thought the squad was good enough to qualify THERE WERE GOOD PLAYERS OF QUALITY AND PRICE to get them in for that challenge.

It's amazing when rumours had us interested in Mc Kenna fans said he was no use, however once our interest ended or was ended depend on what u read or hear, and Jenna became a good centre half.
