What does Rogic need to do (or not do? ) to get dropped?

Has rogic got dirty pictures of the gaffer or something?

Rogic only turns up about 7 times a season. I hate to say it also but wee McGregor hasn't kicked a ball this season either.
Its time Sinclair got his chance again.

Rogic is far too slow absolutely no pace and has brought very little so far to game. Selfish at times and just no focus this season. Get him off and Griff on!

Thank God for griffs. If the lad can't get a start now God only knows. Nitcham, rogic and eddy were shocking. BR seriously needs to look at the taken 20 passes to get to the opposition half. Celtic are so slow going forward it allows the opposition weather that's tonight, st mirren or aek plenty of time to get back and just sit it and we are clueless at breaking them down. This is were BR and the coaches need to get sorted asap. It is shocking to watch and the same thing over and over. When they have played at pace and passing like in the old firm they are a different time. It's time to get the pace and passing speed back asap.

Agree. Ntcham, Edouard and Rogic was honking. Thought KT and Benkovic strolled it. Forrest defended really well too while he was on.

KT and Brown the only two who have turned up this season so far, look a tired team who have run out of ideas and some look like they were looking for some help in transfer window, need another striker in, must be a freedom somewhere.

Christie and Mulumbu in for Rogic and Ntcham Sunday. Both look absolutely drained of energy.

Maybe not his best game but Ntcham was decen imo, best passer in the team by some distance. mcgregor n tam poorer n we looked better when we played with actual wingers, they both seem to be playing as inside attacking mids.

Lustig was done for pace n Eddie needs a break or an actual partner we're the real issues for me.

I'd even put Eddie wide where he played last year n put thumb up top, he's great coming in off the left wing.

Also, benkovic is superb. Won everything in the air n on the ground n passing was superb. If we'd had him in v AEK we'd be in the CL.

This cannot be ignored by the board, dithered n paid the price.

Any way, 3 points, top the group so reason to be cheerful. Mon the hoops.

Apart from KT, Benkovic, Boyata and Brown a woeful display of absolutely no pace or threat. We are a shadow of the force we were. Keep up that level of performance and we have no chance in that group. That’s what happens when you let good players go and don’t replace them right there. Like watching paint dry.

Agree, If we are to play that set up again perhaps not Rogic and Calmac together behind Eddy. not for Europe anyway. Griffiths up top with Eddy and Calmac behind. Or perhaps a switch around if Mulumbu hits the grpund running have him further back with Brown and have Ntcham and Eddy in behind Griffiths. Worth a tinker as it just isn't clicking so far.

I think Edouard is a superb player, but he cannot play the lone striker role. Seems our team was designed around Moussa. We need to adjust big style. The Goal of the Month competition is in danger of becoming a stick on.

So, what Celtic will turn up tonight? I would hope scratch that, i pray it is the one that plays at a high tempo. If we play Eddy as a line leader we will get sticky and messy, he always drifts left and blocks runners, Is Forrest guaranteed a start as he's been less than average for a few games?

So many questions and the seasons barely started.

Only a matter of time until Bitton appears again.

Bitton. there's a forgotten man. What's the story with him? Injury?

Noticed a few queries around why the drop in attendance for the EL. From my perspective, I’m not prepared to stretch myself on top of season ticket and merchandising after the disappointing window.

Difficult to point the finger after 2 trebles, however we now have Europa after the club failed to land targets. It’s clear the manager had a recruitment plan and the board failed to deliver. Bit of a shame, however we do have a huge squad and it was my understanding that Brendan was to trim it and add fewer players with more quality.

There will be players that are surplus unable to get similar contracts elsewhere, so are happy to sit tight and £6m doesn’t get you a Sutton or Hartson, so I understand the parameters. It’s difficult, however we should’ve beaten AEK. A bit scunnered, really!

Who is to blame if we have a lack of quality in over the last 2 Windows?
Is it D D or is it P L or is it B R . everyone will have their own opinion and it's certainly clear that the fans and people within club will have different views .
Those who thing B R has been badly treated may need to look at the very many players we bought in and who we have got rid of at a loss or cannot shift . The most important thing for the future is that Brendan, Peter and Dermot work together for the best for club and not as individuals.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I think Lawwell and Rodgers (and probably Congerton) should share the blame, Lawwell for his penny pinching in certain deals, Rodgers for prioritising unrealistic targets and I guess Congerton for a lack of quality options. I don't see anything Dermot Desmond can take any blame for - we broke our transfer record for Le tourbillon français, sanctioned new improved deals to guys like Rogic, LG etc etc
Rodgers, Lawwell and Dermot Desmond all have the best interests of the Club at heart even when we don't agree with their choices, maybe once Bret Desmond takes over we will see some serious money spent.......

That makes a lot of sense Ed 007 .
I cannot understand Rodgers having a problem with Lawwell,
Lawwell is Lawwell and he should have known what he was like as BR has a life long love of Celtic ( so he keeps telling us )
