Winning the league is acceptable in my eyes, If I offered u the league 6 month ago u would have biten my hand off! As for samaras its all so easy to say when the game is done, as far as I'm concerned that was celtics strongest team, just didn't play well, James Forrest has been amazing all season and u "saw" him haven a bad game? Hooper and stokes best partnership in Scotland u wanna break it up coz u "saw" samaras being better, get real we simply weren't good enough case over, on to sunday to win the league! GBNL

Believable7 Unbelievable9

James forest amazing? Hes been rank for months.... You give anyone in his position a run in the team and you would get the same or more goals than hes scored hes well overated am sick of the amount of times he throws himself to the ground when he cant get passed a player! He couldnt lace mgeadys boots!

Agree0 Disagree0

No one is saying to break up Hooper and Stokes to bring in Samaras. You clearly aren't aware of how Lennon has been using Samaras over the past few games, so you should get real.

Samaras should have started wide left.

Lennon cannot continue to play three central midfielders in a four man midfield. It has been proven time and time again it doesn't work. Ledley is a fantastic player but is not effective out wide left. Lennon has to either play him in central midfield or drop him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forrest for the last 6 weeks or so has been poor, think the bhoy needs a rest, totally agree ledley isn't effective enough wide left, either bring commons back in there or give Sammy the chance to play there for a while

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with the 2nd post got it spot on as for winnin the league on sunday if the sfa has any heart in amongst them then surely the killy v mwell game will be called off for the sake of liam kellys father god rest his soul

Havent got a clue what your on about regarding Forrest this boy is starting to believe his own press too much. 15 mins into the game a blind man could see he was never cutting it. Samaras should have been on left. That would have been better. Forrest needs to be dropped.

Agree0 Disagree0

Samaras should have played. Forrest and Hooper weere poor, however, should have played. Agree with the first post in the sense that this team has yet again improved. The treble next year....relative success in Europe the year after that. Thats how progression works. People also seem to forget that just a year ago this team was being credited for being so young and inexperienced yet had so much promise, well they'll have taken another step towards that come the end of this turn. Thumbs up for me. Onwards and upwards. Think we'll gub 'em at the weekend but motherwell will win.

A few days have passed since our cup final defeat and I still cant figure out why Samara's didn't start ? The guy was man of the match the previous week, has been playing his best football since signing and the Hampden park would have suited his style of play.

I though Forrest was certain to make way early in the second half but that didn't happen either ?

Also, in Lennon's interview after the game he stated that the denied penalty has cost us the treble..... I thought we still had to score that, just to get to extra time and we have still to get to the Scottish cup final.
Given the state of our main opposition and size of our current squad, if we happen to "only" win the league, is this an acceptable achievement ?

Believable3 Unbelievable6

At the start of the season winning the league was our aim, we've nearly done that and we're still in the Scottish cup. We were poor on Sunday no doubt about it but looking at the big picture things are looking really good for us after 3 years of rebuilding.

Forget about Sunday and look forward to the future

Bman

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course it's acceptable as we were written off in the SPL in October by many. Hugh Keevens and his posse especially! We are all disappointed after Sunday, but the league was our priority and even counting it as 11 points going to Ibrox is a superb effort never mind the 10 extra for them de-faulting.

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean " only" win the league . I will be over the moon if we " only " win league . You sound a bit iffy to me with your comments .......DH

Agree0 Disagree0

The nuts and bolts of where we are is not important and the question is nonsensical. However put it into the context of next seasons performance and if Celtic have no credible opposition then I would think a league title only would be a failure for CFC. It would be very good for Scottish football as a whole but as I say without a credible opposition to win only a league "Next year" would be a failure. To summarise I think you are a year early with your question.

Well the elephant in the room is no more.Hugh Adam on channel four has blown the whistle. This can not be swept under the carpet, filed away in a dusty room or misplaced(heard that before)by a temp. With any luck UEFA may take a hands on interest in this strange handshake blazerati.Be very interesting to see the response from murray regarding Mr Adams claims,or will the press even follow this story up?...........green jhedi

The sfa are a total disgrace and will do everything in their power to defend rangers

Agree0 Disagree0

Where did u see this. i've searched high and low cant find it

Agree0 Disagree0

Uefa could end up hammering the sfa and expelling them from all uefa run competitions if they find them guilty of any wrong-doing

Agree0 Disagree0

The press MUST follow this up though no doubt it will be dumbed down and sugar coated, lenny makes 1 comment, and BANG!!like rabid dugs

Agree0 Disagree0

What I want to know is why this storey was broke by an English based journalist for Channel 4 news and not by any of our Scottish journalists or even STV.

Is it that they knew what was going on and didnt want to break up their pals act with David Murray and Rangers or was it just that they are inept at their job!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you not 3-4 weeks late jedhi ? Is this not old news ? Has anyone asked why he said nothing when he was a highly paid director ? is there any proof ? {Ed007's Note - Hugh Adam warned Rangers fans in 2002 about the way David Murray was running the club, which is why he sold his shares and left the club. This isn't something new, it is something he has spoke about for ten years yet Rangers fans chose to ignore him.}

The rangers fans are again out in force spouting off about Neil. If I had
any influence at Parkhead I would be issuing instructions that if any
reporters ask the management or team a question about Rangers they
should reply NO COMMENT!! JULIE

Believable10 Unbelievable3

Oh oh julie if you love me truly,I have no axe 2 grind with mr lennon but 2 suggest a decision by a referee was I quote (criminal) was fruitful language lets just say, last year's cup final RANGERS had a penalty & then had it cancelled the same referee also failed 2 send off charlie mulgrew for a last man tackle but the year before the same referee sent off danny wilson for bringing a player down on the touchline, now maybe the fact we won both of these cups helped SIR WALTER keep his tounge in check & that is his way but mr lennon just can't help himself I have said before I do not know mr lennon personally so I can't hate some1 I don't know, but unfortunately some people do not think the same way as I & 1 more point mr collum has now had death threats this may not be mr lennon's fault but sometimes manager's need 2 watch what they say as there is bampots out there as we all know, anyway who's that knocking at the green door oh oh julie if you love me truly, think a know the answer to that
