I didn't realise that Kasper Schmeichel is out of contract in the summer?! Regardless of Leicester getting promoted to the EPL or Arsenal, AC Milan and Southampton showing an interest, I still think it's a MUST for us to put a contract on the table!

Ed any truth in the Janko link or is it just one that won't go away?
Would have been better we sign him four years ago but he might still have something to offer the way JVoH did.
{Ed007's Note - Everything (which isn't much of a story IMO) is coming from Janko's camp. I think he is more hoping CFC will make a move or at the very least the public link will alert others to his availability. It was his agent who alerted CFC but he will have alerted literally hundreds of clubs of the same thing.}

Was funny him saying he'd walk to glasgow in January when he already had a chance to sign. For one thing or another he obviously hasn't settled in Turkey.
I think I'd have him based on the past several forwards we've signed. Of our current crop, I'd rather play him up top in Europe. He has that bit more pedigree that we need. Not to mention the benefits a target man can bring against superior opposition.

Looks like Marc Janko's going to be a free in the summer. I know he rejected us before but still worth a punt especially on a free.

Austria captian marc janko has quit tranzsponsor(spelling) and celtic have been alerted to his availability. Should have been wearing the hoops years ago imo and has been qouted as saying he would walk to glasgow to sign for celtic. Not been as prolific past couple of years but really think he would be a great asset.
What do you guys think?
I'd definitely have him at park head. He is something we are lacking atm so I think he could be perfect for the champions league, especially if we also sign Snodgrass
41 games + 9 goals in all competitions since January 2012?
I'd welcome another international player, especially another captian of thier country.
It would be worth offering him a contract as he is a free, but no sell on value as he is in his final years. Would have loved him here four years ago!
