Norwich manger has turned to hooper once again to partner Ricky can wolfswinkle. What a partner ship that would be. Norwich got a huge deal there with that striker.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Please sell hooper. wants to leave and isn't playing well anyway. I would be very happy with £6mio. bring in rhodes for him with that and if needed a bit of the CL money or I would like kim ojo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree ojo time to let him go and who ever else wants to leave, we have plenty young lads waiting on the wing ready to play there heart and soul out for us and i'm not saying they will be better but giving 100 percent is better than the hoopers just collecting a wage, roll on next season and bring on a couple of new singings. wee darren

Agree0 Disagree0

Here's a wild prediction, seeing as everyone else is having a go. We won't get a good enough offer/no decent team will bid for him & we'll be stuck with an unhappy chappy til his deal runs out.

Could be a good partnership, however, they are dangerously close to dropping out the epl, and I can't imagine rvw being happy and on top of his game with that. can't see hooper going to championship either. Would be a good signing for everton tho, him and jelavic could be deadly

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure Norwich will go down they have some home games that's very winnable Swansea reading Aston villa and WBA I belive at home all 4 games can be wins.

Agree0 Disagree0

Check the first part of my post Tam. Not absolutely impossible though is it? If a decent team had made a decent bid he'd probably be gone already. dopeydavey

No matter what u say the guy is a quality player. let's see what hoopers stats are like after a similar period down south in epl. Tbh, I think they would make a great cf pairing, u can't see past your hatred for the other mob if you don't see that.

well that's Hooper away
heard it here first,,,, off to Newcastle in summer
100% guaranteed

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Newcastle not intrested main target Remy of qpr. Hooper will be at Norwich with Rvw :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Newcastle are after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of saint ettienne, no longer interested in remy. Their head scout has been over a good few times watching him. can't see hooper at norwich either. Possibly villa if they stay up.

Agree0 Disagree0

"well that's Hooper away

Is that you Gary? (Hooper). ONLY you could say with 100% certainty that you are leaving. Either that or the OP is foo oh p1ss!

Leave if you want anyway, Nobody is bigger than the club and if you are not scroing AND playing out your skin, someone else will take your place. Well done and thanks for everything but remember the UCL games, they will be your last for a while. Stan!

Getting to that time of the year where it's manager/team/player of the year:

For me it's ICT/Ross county/Motherwell

ICT only 3 points behind Motherwell could go to the wire with them.

Player - IMO only 1 or 2 players from Celtic I would pick for this

Manager - between Neil/Danny Lennon & butcher. If butcher can get 2nd place then credit to him, Danny mince in the league but brought home a cup to paisley for the first time in nearly 25 years, then Neil. Do I need to really explain that one?

What's your thoughts on team/player manager of the season

Lenny

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Team = Celtic (How team of the season can go to anybody other than the champions elect, in any league, is just ridiculous)

Manager = Danny or Neil Lennon. Exceeded expectations in the league cup and Champions League respectively.

Player = Victor Wanyama. Best player in Scotland.

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't see by Adams mate. Just up and tore it up with a long unbeaten run. Decent work done with journeyman players. Lennon has as you say won the league cup and tried to play football all season. Lenny got to the last 16 of the CL though, and in the great scheme of things benefited every team in the country, cash bonus for all etc. If I had to, Adams for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Adams county big vic
thommyj

Agree1 Disagree0

Manager a would say Derek Adams, Team would be motherwell was between them and ict but going with league form ad say motherwell and Player ad say higdon 20+ goals and stil going that's a fantastic return even in the spl not pickin any ours because tbh a don't think our league form this season has merited players mentioned for players of the season apart from matthews, wanyama, wilson

GunnieBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with the first post,
How any of youse can say anyone Barr Celtic then I'll never know, limited financial and an inexperienced team go to the last 16 and beat Barcelona on the way so its a no brainer.

Celtic
Danny lennon/stuart mcCall
Joe ledley/Niall mcginn

Agree0 Disagree0

Neil Lennon, no other beat barca,. ,. kbarry

Agree0 Disagree0

Although its been a mediocre SPL campaign albeit a championship win, we've done the club and country proud in Europe, I don't think they'll give team and manager to Celtic?!
Team: Celtic
Manager: I would say Adams, but probs Danny Lennon for winning a cup.
Player: Wanyama, done enough over 3/4 of the season.

Bigbadjohn

Agree0 Disagree0

For me MOY - Neil Lennon
TOY - Ross County
POY - big Victor

For an insignificant side post, should ally get MOY in fourth division? Considering the different playing field that they take to every game! Spiers from QP should defo in for a shout of that!

Agree0 Disagree0

It seems to be based on scottish football, not european so can't really count barca win.

ICT
Wanyama
Adams

Agree0 Disagree0

Team of the Season - Ross County
Manager of the Season - Terry Butcher
Player of the Season - Niall McGinn

Been watching Lyle Taylor at Falkirk since he came up from down south. Scored the winner away from home yesterday.
Very sharp, great ball control/ skills and very physical athletic lad. I'm sure Lenny must have spotted him.
I think he would play even better with better players around him and would benefit immensely from Celtic pro coaching and training. There's a sell on profit there for sure. Arguably with all his first team football and goals he's better than Tony Watt at the moment. Consistent goal scoring in div1 isn't easy to do. Perhaps the kind of competition watt and stokes need in the squad to keep them sharp.

Believable5 Unbelievable4

I agree. I think the boy would do well. We do seem to be getting a bit obsessed with foreign signings at the moment. I would think he would have done more than Banguorra for instance. We surely must be looking at Russell and McKay Stevens as well. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Attend the odd Hamilton game & I remember being really impressed with this guy v Falkirk, they basically played 9 defenders & just let him run riot on his own in the Accies half. Good enough for SPL definitely, us? No sure. dopeydavey

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure Rangers have their eye on him.
I'm convinced he's shown his quality this year and its better than div 1.
Just by joining this Celtic squad his value would rise. That's one of the benefits of being the best and most successful team in Scotland. Might not be European quality yet but the potential is there. He's hungry and talented and good enough for running out against the bottom eight in the spl.

Agree0 Disagree1

Seen up close at the Bairns home game V Thistle and he was head and shoulders the best player on display. Pacy, skillful and bags of potential, only issue is he looks a bit lightweight but a few sessions with Mr Mjallby and I'm sure that could be sorted. AllanJ

Kelvin Wilson wanted by Newcastle please be true as the guy is pure rotten.

Believable7 Unbelievable21

Is you trippin? Kelv has been immense all season, dopeydavey

Agree0 Disagree1

Not been great the last 4 or 5 games but easily been the most improved maybe even most consistent player this season and was a standout in Europe, MickL

Agree2 Disagree1

I swear Newcastle are always after our players. Brown, Hooper and now Wilson. I agree with dopeydavey, Wilson has been quality this season!

JJ Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Would depend on what price they offered.
Hes not been outstanding this season, but improved from the start

Agree0 Disagree0

Well maybe it's just their friends The Rangers' propaganda machine MSM trying to run the usual garbage stories designed to unsettle teams other than the disgusting mob from govan!

Agree1 Disagree0

He makes too many dangerous fouls though

Agree0 Disagree0

Only an opposition fan would write that Kelvin is "pure rotten"! He's been by far and away the most improved defender on the books, look at Izzy if you want someone to have a pop at mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

The newspapers notice Carver and Stone at St. Mirren, put two and two together, and get 5. £5m. If this happens i'll eat my own head. They were there to keep an eye on Newton primarily and I doubt anybody in the Celtic team caught their eye. If Newcastle move for anybody it will be Hooper or Wanyama.

Agree0 Disagree0

Put your name to making this statement u f*d, who would you have in instead? rogne guys to inconsistent, kelvin wilson has being magic this season in the champs league & league, just the kind of centre half we have being missing for in years. I was lucky enough to go to all champs league home games & turin & he never played bad in any of them,

Agree0 Disagree0

I heard great reports about KW and was very impressed but I tore him a new one on this site as I thought he wasnt interested and was wasting his talent. Now it turns out the laddie had some serious personal issues not of his making and of course a bad injury. For me he has been the best improved player this year and by all accounts is a decent lad. I am delighted in this turn around which NL I am sure has been involved and just like his sorting out of KC he has had little credit for. So a big well done to KW and NL for bringing out the player that so many top men knew was there. Never mind him going to Newcastle I would take the Newcastle boy He is supposedly targeted to replace and they would make a great partnership. Well done Kelvin your doing a good job and long may it continue in the Hoops. Sopotcelt

Agree0 Disagree0

The only pure thing about your post no name poster is if it's a reflection on your ability to assess a player then that ability you possess is pure sh*te. AbS HH

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance of this happening, for starters wilson would need a french passport for newcastle to be interested. Also, with taylor, mbiwa and coluccini there, they don't need him

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a decent centre half in the squad. If anyone offers money for Wilson I will drive him there. Guy is a donkey as he's proved with howlers against Aberdeen and Ross Co to name a few. Hope he takes Mulgrew and Rogne with him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Last poster your comments are bordering on the ridiculous. Post your name then you may get a little respect for having some manners even if your observation skills are piss poor. Sopotcelt
