Eboue looks very slow and off the pace, the only reason for this will be lack of game time. Once the SPL is won I expect 5 or 6 players to be rested giving others a chance. KT has been off his game for weeks, he needs a rest with moussa and Sinclair.

Agreed mate has been an amazing season by all the bhoys this wee blip was always going to happen. After the international break dembele sinclair will have rested. who is your player of the year so far for me it's armstrong although if anyone got it is could understand.

I would rest them just now, this stupid undefeated record is doing more harm to the players than good, and the past few weeks displays are nervy in my opinion.

Its as if they just want to get over the finish line, they look exhausted. Im not bothered about unbeaten record. Law of statistics we are going to get beat at some point domestically. League is in the bag, after its secured rest the players and concentrate on making sure we win cup as well.

Perfect opportunity to give fringe players and youth a run out in last remaining league games (after confirmed winners) and let first team squad concentrate on cup games.

Devils advocate but what about keeping the basis of a winning team together with a view to the semi final? We can't drop 5 or 6 and expect them to just pick it up again for 1 game.

I think being sensible and rotating a few per game is a better idea as we have a strong enough squad to beat any team. Remember we played 3 to 4 games with no striker a few months back!

Memaself; you need to explain to me at least, how being 33 points clear; chasing the Treble and with so many candidates as player of the year that this doing us "harm". We have a huge Club with increasingly more talented players who if they can't handle success then they shouldn't be in a professional sports team. Please explain?

If you rest too many then the danger is that they think they're on holiday and then have to pick it up for semi . i agree rotate to a degree but these players deserve to see it through.

Definitely should keep a strong team on the park, freshen it up wae one or two fringe players and one youth player every other game, the second string deserve a chance when one or two first team players need a rest. Don't think we should take our eyes off the prize at all, treble and unbeaten is no way out our reach, give us fans as much as we give them!

Ignatius I'm sure you must have noticed our team are not at their best recently, against Hamilton not great, st mirren took the lead and looked as if they could have won in 1st half, and the Rangers game was poor, in my own wee opinion wether you or anyone else likes it, is that the team looks nervy to me, and I believe it's down to this unbeaten record, as it must affect them mentally.

Been reading a fair bit of stick for Kouassi, bit unfair imo. Lers judge him after he's had a bit of a run. Starting a game or even a few might be a fairer test for him than a couple of sub appearances. Will admit he looked shaky today though.

I know what you're saying Davie but the thing that worried me was his body language and lack of intensity rather than his poor passing etc. He's has plenty of time to get up to the intensity and fitness levels but didn't look like he was caring. Plenty of time on his side though to be fair.

Well I thought that was another poor performance today. we've been magnificent this season we really have but we've totally gone off the boil this past 4 5 weeks! Disjointed all over the park! And our 2 main players this season dembele and Sinclair have been really poor the past 3 or 4 games!

They've barely mustered a shot at goal in the past 2 games! And for me dembele, wonderful young player that he is, is either a 9 out 10 in a game or a 5 out 10!

There's never an in between with him, he never gives you a solid 7 out of 10 for a few games! His first touch and hold up play is either brilliant or shocking! And I know he's had an amazing first season and I'm a huge fan but for me wee Griffiths should get a wee run out after the internationals!

The team looks really lethargic and I don't blame them with the amount of games we've played! Just hope they come back from the break feeling refreshed and ready to go for this treble!

Thoughts for today's game lads? Is it fair to say that we are not playing at our best just now. I want Toure brought back into defence and Biton kept on the bench. maybe see Kouassi today.

Disappointed for kouassi. he should be starting ahead of Mcgregor.

I think McGregor is a great wee player. No idea why he gets so much stick. I think BR is a better person to judge and he clearly feels he is the better shout so I'm happy to go along with that.

He gets stick because he is Scottish and not some Nancy fancy foreigner a young homebred boy who loves pulling in the hoops and always gives a decent shift 🍀.

{Ed007's Note - I can never understand the stick McGregor gets either. I'm more than happy for him playing for us on the domestic front.}

I agree I like young McGregor, he takes the ball at every opportunity, holds it under pressure and looks forward for the pass. He also has an eye for goal. His downside is not the best defensively and strength. Gives more than big Nir for me.

Pablo p can you explain why Kouassi should be starting before mcgregor?
Mcgregor has came through our youth system then went down south for a very successful loan period. He's came up the road forced his way into the first team squad worked hard scored and made goal including in European qualifiers.
He's played around 5 or 6 different positions this season. Now at a hundred games for our club and has a few winners medals to his name.

How doest eboue merit a game ahead of mcgregor? Mcgregor is a neat an tidy player for us especially in the domestic front. Good squad player for us.
