Reliable information that there is little money in the coffers after last years splurge. There is only money for a decent goalie and any other signings have to be paid for by sales {Ed007's Note - So what happens if the GK doesn't cost anything?}

If the goalie is a free the its a bit obvious that the wages will reflect this ( ed you should know better) {Ed007's Note - You said there was only money for a decent GK, no mention of wages, I assumed you meant a transfer fee as CFC do not have a problem with their wage bill.}

Are you sure? It is well known there outgoings are in excess of thier income and thier finances are being supplemented by personal cash from directors. (Keane lone a prime example) {Ed007's Note - I am 100% sure, CFC finances are not supplemented by anyone, the clubs debt is under written by Dermot Desmond so will never become an issue as any debt is manageable}

Even if there is lingering debt, it's already been stated that it's managable and unless I hear otherwise I'll believe the club statement over some faceless anonymity on a forum. There are a number of squad players and a few very valuable players in the squad who's sales would cover it if needs must and therefore I don't see the board hitting Lennon with a transfer embargo and giving him jack all money. Furthermore, Desmond is a billionaire.

Well we have made 2 bids for strikers and missed out on them. mphela is another striker coming on trial who will cost us ��1.5m so his information is unreliable as we might not get rid of players until we get new players in.

Just got a text saying Kayal & Izzaguire's contract talks have broke down and Kayals agent isn't responding to Lawwells calls now.

FFS Just get the money out and get them signed... making the club look like amateurs again {Ed007's Note - Wasn't Peter Lawell at the SPL meeting at Hampden all day?}

What ru talking about, our finances are there in black and white to see, we may not be rolling in cash but we are in pretty decent shape considering the money on offer in the SPL. As for the quality of player, we are now buying sensible, young options with a good resale value ensuring we never end up in the position that lot found themselves in. The only reason there isn't a bit more money available is cos Mowbry left us with a bunch of players we probably couldn't give away now. stijn stijnen [ex-belgian international GK] on trial at lennoxtown this week. bit of a bad boy.. apparently looking for a new club after having his contract torn up at brugge for criticizing officials and teammates at the club. on the plus side he quit international football after telling person advocaat to stick it up his fat ****. so he clearly has some common sense not wanting to work for that wee troll.
