Looks like the papers taking a flyer here. We seem to be linked with every out of favour player City have during the transfer windows. After the badge kissing and false promises he gave Villa and their fans he was straight onto the motorway as soon as City waived their chequebook. He must be on £70k and there is no chance he is giving 50% of that up to come to us.

Delphi is on a 4 year deal @£90k per week as is 26 if this is the type we are looking at it terms of quality there must be cheaper options, there's not a hope in hells chance he's coming.

Delph is class, him mccarthy n broony fighting for the 3 holding position, with sinclair, armstrong n roberts (if we can get him, forrest if not, wid be frightening proposition, be up there with best celtic teams we have had in past 20 years hh.

Regarding the Stuart Armstrong contract situation we spoke about the other day, I was told today that it will be sorted before the end of the season at the very latest. Seemingly it's a new 4 year deal with a 1 year extension on it.

Like you ED i was getting a bit sweaty about this situation. Thankfully this is a young man of serious IQ who i believe will go eventually, but is enjoying his time immensely as do the whole squad.

The way BR has him playing i have no doubt he could hack it there. He is starting to look like a proper Euro class midfield player, with a goal threat added now. Another couple of CL campaigns and he can only improve.
