just wonderin if you reckon there willfinally be an be an outcome in the hmrc case against the shame soon

ps ma thoughts to fabrice muamba and his family {Ed007's Note - I wouldn't even like to hazard a guess mate, like everything else it seems to be dragging on.}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Cheers ed, would think potential buyers would want resolution one way or another {Ed007's Note - That is a certainty. That's why there has been no formal bids made as such. It is only expressions of interest and indicative bids so far, there will be plenty of conditions attached to them. Once clarity of the situation is available then anyone still interested will make a more detailed formal bid.}

Agree0 Disagree0

This is not wishful thinking ed but i honestly believe that Rangers will be liquidated by friday, hence they cant fulfill their fixtures, hence no party at ibrox. As you said yourself the bids that have been received will have conditions attached and after interested parties find out the scale of the mess at Rangers FC you wont see them for dust.....Stevie {Ed007's Note - I would be surprised Stevie, but the way things have went anything could happen. This is by far the strangest ever administration in football or in business I have ever heard of. There is too much self interest by individuals which is leading to even more problems.}

hearing rumors that Police that would usually have been asked in for 0T for next weeks game have NOT been asked and there is a meeting with Rfc security on Tuesday

Believable7 Unbelievable4

The usual plans have been put in place for it. All rest days cancelled etc.

Anyone know how many signatures the make rangers pay tax e-petition that was flying around this week got?
Hobbybhoy

Believable0 Unbelievable2

1271690 {Ed007's Note - You sure about that ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

The petition that was posted has received 7330 votes

Agree0 Disagree0

Many do they need for the gov to take action Ed? {Ed001's Note - it wouldn't matter how many, all they do is discuss it if there are enough signatures. Action is not going to happen, it is just a silly and bitter thing to do, in my opinion as a neutral. If you want to protest about people not paying tax, then get down to Vodafone etc, the big corporations that owe billions in tax and are the real problem in this country. Stop wasting people's time with childish rivalry like this.}

Well said ED.

Hi Ed in reply to the post about feruz being the one that got away, I was listening to Talksport a week or so ago and heard Brazil talking to a journo from the Telegraph I think and they where discussing epl youth players ref the new FFP rules about spend what you earn etc and bringing more youth players through, it just so happened that he mentioned feruz whilst recounting a conversation with several scouts watching the youth match he was playing in and he scored a belter apparently but these "reputable" scouts were saying how good he could be but they noticed a problem with the way he runs, something about running with square hips (apparently not fluid movement) these guys reckoned this would hinder his progression as gets older. Just thought I'd post it for discussion mate, I have also heard from other people that he's got a bit of a destructive attitude so taking all this into consideration, I'm not overly worried he's left although I would have liked us to got a decent fee for him.

Here's hoping for a good show tomorrow and a good result. My heart goes out to Fabrice Muamba and his family!
HH
pfb79 {Ed007's Note - At 16 the human body is still developing, so there could be some truth in what you say, modern day scouts would notice such things. Feruz attitude could scupper his career before it is even started, he has skipped training a few times at Chelsea and is not doing himself any favours with his off field behaviour.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

This couldnt possibly be sour grapes? Hes good enough to be the best player in the mickey mouse spl NOW. Face it, these kind of players wont stay with celtic, no matter how big they kid themselves on that they are. {Ed007's Note - And your point is.................}

Agree0 Disagree0

Its not sour grapes the poster is telling the truth, that is what was said

Agree0 Disagree0

He was known to miss training regularly at celtic, and choose which games he turned up for. He drove the staff mad. A friend's son was there two years ago with him and his antics made him unpopular with the other players. BUT he was recognised as having fantastic talent. Maybe that's why they put up with his petulance. I've never heard of a youngster get away with so much. Hadn't heard he was skipping training sessions at Chelsea…but shouldn't be surprised. The move probably just reinforced the arrogance. Foolish boy. Still time to mend his ways. Hate to see talent go down the drain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sour Grapes i think not. If you look at a post from myself a few weeks back i think you will see this kid no doubt has potential but the way he treated CFC after all the club did for him and his family is nothing short of shameful. Dont think i want that type of player at cfc

The Happy Turnkey

Agree0 Disagree0

To the idiot that posted about sour grapes, my post is 100% guaranteed truth. With regards your mickey mouse league post I can only assume you are are a follower of a team in the EPL henceforth your ridiculous assumption that a teenager who never even played for the Celtic first team would be the best player in the SPL now. Perhaps you should refrain from consuming mind altering drugs and spend a bit of time in the real world. I happen to live in England and find it bizarre that pretty much all of you think you have the best league in the world..... Utter C**p! I would place your league behind La liga for starters. Your top 2 teams being knocked out of the C.L should surely make you all re-assess your misguided opinions. Non-the less everyone is entitled to an opinion so your welcome to yours despite how deluded it may be.

Any predictions for the game today ED?

HH
pfb79 {Ed007's Note - I'm going for 3-1 today PFB.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not sour grapes, It's tainted grapes lol. Only joking. Seriously though every time Scotland discover a good International talent ther just has to be something wrong with them...example Boyd an outstanding finnisher but lazy, Feruz skillful but square hips, Adams talented but fitness issues, Fleck talented but needs to screw the heid,Brown works hard but headless chuck. The Real stand out talent we have is Naismith.

mate of mine watched english youth final between man utd and chelsea
last night. he reckons islam feruz will be best player ever to play for
hoops. looks like we lost out big time on him. anyone else see it?. just goes to show we cant compete with money down there, what hope is there when we cant keep these players?

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Watched the game on ITV 4 and the boy was very impressive. Feel sorry for the youth set up at Lennoxtown who developed and nurtured the boy, only to be slapped in the face for money

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye, when it comes down to the nitty gritty celtic may be the big fish in this small pond but theyre minnows compared to the real big boys of europe.
This is going to happen again and again, any decent player will leave scottish football. We are headig to the standards of the northern irish league.Anyone who thinks different needs to wake up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes a little runt forget him he aint the sharpest tool in the box he will blow it BIG STYLE trust me

Agree0 Disagree0

I think differently. fabregas piquie? barca couldnt keep them got them back 25 mill? or so last week a kid called pogba or something left man utd for italy thats life theres always someone out there no matter what league or how big you think you are anyway paul george is better than faruz {Ed007's Note - Paul Pogba is still at Man Utd and it is looking more likely he will sign a new contract with them soon. He came on for them against Bilbao on Thursday night.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers ed must stop readind davie provan {Ed007's Note - LOL I wasn't having a dig at you, just pointing it out mate.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks ed do better homework next time LOL

All clubs let players slip thru. (nitty guy above obviously gers fan from N.I. struggling with reality.) celtic are fine. cant make it but lets hope it's neil's day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Wee ungrateful scum bag hope his career reaches the same heights as Liam Millar

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw it. He was involved in first goal; good through pass to the Brazilian (who looked much better than Feruz) and he scored the second. I know he has fantastic talent but he was not outstanding against Manu.

Ed do Motherwell have to get beat next Saturday for us to win the league at Ibrox ......DH {Ed007's Note - No DH, Motherwell need to win, anything less and we can win the title at Ibrox.}

All the media are going on about rankers needing to play youth players but we have been playing with youth players all season so what's the big deal? {Ed007's Note - The average age of the Rangers team today was 24.45 years, the average age of the CFC team who beat Dundee Utd last week was 23.18 years.}

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Still on you high horses over the average age of the Celtic team I see.

Your post is completely pointless bud. Rangers were forced to play youth against Dundee UTD. When have Celtic EVER played youth this season?

There is a difference between playing youth players and having a young squad! Yes, Celtic have a young squad, but the vast majority of the Celtic squad were brought in for a fee.

Typical Celtic fan....trying to gain some sort of moral high ground with a ridiculous argument!!

Lennon wouldn't have brought so many players if he had faith in YOUTH.

its now come out that whyte tried to buy st mirren in february, in order to guarantee an spl space should rangers go bust. shut down st mirren, reborn rangers take their space.just on radio snyde .apparently the st mirren chairman knocked back gary withey's( whyte's right hand man) takeover bid cos it seemed fishy.

ED007, there are strong rumours that Strathclyde Police are meeting SPL/SFA to discuss next weeks Old Firm game, what I heard from different sources is that they realise they cannot cancel game but want it moved to a midweek evening match, have you heard this rumour? Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I have heard it from a few different places, but I don't believe it Tim. The clubs would need to tell the fans that such a meeting was planned, they can't just change the schedule at a few days notice without good reason.}

Hi Ed,

I was reading a short article in yesterdays Metro(free paper).
It was relating to the Kelly family that in the 1920s Celtic bailed out Rankers with an unconditional loan.

It would seem tha with age the club got no wiser.

Lost Bhoy 50 {Ed007's Note - Back then both clubs helped each other quite a bit, so it wouldn't surprise me.}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

ED007/Lostbhoy 50 there is an article on newsnow Celtic about this, also Rangers voted with Celtic in 1952 regarding the Irish Tricolour Timalloy
