Celtic are set to launch a shock raid on Hoffenheim for their £4 million rated striker Chinedu Obasi. Obasi has recentley fell out of favour at Hoffenheim and the striker admited in a recent interview he wants out of Hoffenheim. Hoffenheim manager Jan Schindelmeiser has conceded although he wants to keep the striker it seems unlikely he will be able to. Obasi whos prefered position is a striker has played most of his Hoffenheim career as a winger he has made 74 appearances for Hoffenheim has scored 24 goals.

There is nothing factual about this and very little logic here. Firstly, Lawwell has denied this story and if you think Fergus McCann would be interested in uprooting returning to the UK the club he owned as an employee in a hugely demanding role when he is now in his 70's, I'd say you were mad! Much as I admire his work, I just don't see it. In terms of in's and out's, you'll note that Hooijveld is away and O'Dea is staying out on loan which leaves us short at centre half, particularly if loovens moves on. Expect then that Celtic will continue to pursue Wilson early or an alternative loan until the end of the window. Your guess is as good as mine as to whther we will be successful. As for the striker positon, you are presumable accusing the manager of lying when he says its a priority. Either that or you have a crystal ball and just know that all our efforts will fail. Please stop posting utter rubbish!

My cousin is friends with the man who takes celtic's training sessions and he texted him asking what transfers were goin on, he replied and i quote "stephen ireland is over looking at the place, he hasnt said anything about it yet but hes still to be shown the rest of the club." this is from a very very good source si i don't want people saying this is bulls* * or why would they sign another midfielder im just telling you what has been told by a person at the club.

Hi Ed. Have heard that negotiations for Huseklepp are likely to get underway again, so a deal may be done. Lennon has said that he does want to bring in a striker in January. Somebody mentioned a couple of days ago that skippy has said he'd like to come back to Celtic. This is true. I was talking to my dad about it this morning because he is currently on holiday in Oz (my brother lives out there). Anyway, a guy that my brother knows is a huge sports fan and he said he read in an interview that McDonald still loves Celtic and would return if asked. Apparently, he only left because he enjoyed working with Strachan. Now that WGS has left boro, there is no real draw to keep him there. Don't think we'd take him back, but if WGS gets a job somewhere soon, expect Skippy to follow.
