English spin, does anyone believe the hoop will go to Reading for that trivial amount??

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol we just through out a bid over 4million and a day or so later you post this? personic

SOS BHOY

Agree0 Disagree0

Well the only caps he will get going there is golf yins he will have tae by them name a reading that's been in an england squad recently exactely he will have score 40 in championship tae get tae brazil holt scored 15 last season and no near it top english scorer in epl so wit chance has championship striker got??

Agree1 Disagree0

Pi$h posh. Ian L

Agree0 Disagree0

That can't be the price! Turned it down from another club, unless big add ons and big sell on maybe. Think it will be more like 7 mill with sell on clause

Agree0 Disagree0

We're not going to accept that. Hull just bid that why would we accept that from Reading

Agree0 Disagree0

Just knocked that amount back the other day from hull why wld they accept it from reading English media are warped!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nicky Shorey springs to mind as well as Graham Murty who turned out for Scotland don't underestimate the R's. A visit to Madjeski from the Bhoys would be nice still Fulham Brentford etc not too far away!

Agree0 Disagree1

Not going to get much more than £5M for hoops, last year of contract so celtic will start to accept bids in this region if he does indeed decide that he will not be signing a new deal. I hope we get more but market doesn't work that way when they can sign him for free on a contact in January.

Rbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Alex McCarthy who was in ahead of Forester. but I agree with you. The idea that he is a better keeper than Frazer is ridiculous!

Heard a rumour we were interested in Paddy Madden who play's for Yeovil. 23 year's old with 22 goals in league one so would fit our profile. What do you think ed? {Ed007's Note - He has been linked to a few teams, I'd be surprised if there was any concrete interest from us.}

Believable7 Unbelievable9

Is that the level our club is at? 3rd tier of English football ffs.

GunnieBhoy

Believable5 Unbelievable15

Mcfadden maybe

Agree0 Disagree0

Hearing its a play-maker from Spain, a number 10 type player. Haven't heard any names, but its the type of player we are missing.
Brido

Agree0 Disagree0

Theres a lot ae rumours flyin around the night about mcfadden marco so could be mate

First time here, apparently Celtic considering a move for Deportivo midfielder Paulo Assuncao.

Believable5 Unbelievable9

33 year old defensive mid, why?deep river bhoy

Agree1 Disagree0

He's 33. dopeydavey

Agree0 Disagree0

He would bring loads of experience to our young side especially if wanyama leaves

Looks like McFadden is going to happen don't know if it is a good idea, still interested in Doyle.

Believable7 Unbelievable15

Doyle and McFadden are both bad ideas and past it.
If this happens, it is the cheap and rotten option.
No Champions League for us next season!

Agree0 Disagree1

Going for McFadden yet again is crazy and if we are (as it seems) replacing Stokes and Hooper with Doyle and McFadden then the support are being sold down the river AGAIN.
We are supposed to be in a very healthy financial position with big CL ambition?
So I would rather see the money spent on Rhodes and Mackay-Stephen who are class and are potential profit makers down the line if they decide to move on later?

JJ

Agree0 Disagree0

JJ one or both for me. mac s surely would not break the bank and that laddie has skill. Sopotcelt.

Agree1 Disagree0

Mcfadden is definitely not good enough but I do think that Doyle can do us a good turn because he won't cost a lot and does gaurntee 100% every game he will run his socks off for the team and will score enough goals in scotland because he can score goals as he has proved before but he has had his injury problems in the last few years. but worth the risk in my eyes

Donegal bhoy

Agree0 Disagree1

Got to agree. let's self implode by going for the cheap option.
When will we ever learn
Instead of being out of sight domestically for the next decade plus more importantly progress in Europe we can all see what's going to happen
At least there will be a good set of accounts to slaver over in the short term. Wonder how many tix we'll sell to look at a p&l sheet

I found the first official pics of the new home kit before the press launch next week. I have put them on the sightings page. Remember the top will now cost £53 for the short sleeve and £60 for the long.

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - Cheers JB.}

Believable3 Unbelievable6

I'll buy the away strip but i'm not paying for that home one. Not impressed with that at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh no, me not likey that home shirt. It's a bit pants and it won't be taking up hanging space in my wardrobe. Actually on second thoughts I may still buy it to support the club but if I do then it'll be spending a LOT of time in my wardrobe! lol

Hail Hail
ChrisBhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Top is £42 on official website and got to say I really like it
Hew1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Scrap what I just said. Couple of days ago I checked and the top was £42 now it says £55. Excuse my language but **** nike and **** cfc if they think a T-SHIRT is worth that money. I am actually raging.
Hew1888

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh no its a return to the late eighties and early nineties. We all know how that went. Less and broader hoops is always a bad omen. I hope I am wrong. Sopotcelt.

Jungle Bhoy the home strip is horrible, do you know anyone who LIKES it? The yellow away strip looks OK but the prices of £53 and £60 are far too expensive. Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

Yellow one isn't the away top. Is a photoshop of the Juve away top.

Gordy Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest lads i'm fed up watching Jungle Bhoy having to explain to people on here that Celtic don't price the strips, Nike do. It is out of our hands.

BTW rest assure your paying competitive prices for what is at least the best! Premiership strips are the same, give or take a few pound more expensive or cheaper.

Imagine the outrage if your were paying the same amount for THAT Warrior effort Liverpool have just released?

Agree0 Disagree0

I actually like the top but then I, m a sucker for buying all celtic tops got everyone for as long as I can remember. To be fair last season was and is my favourite take something special to beat that.
Welshbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Nike actually want us to charge £60 for each top but the club thinks that's too much so they price it at a price that gives them a half decent margin. Nike charge Celtic almost £40 per top due to cost of transportation, etc.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I like it. Nice collar, very continental looking top. V expensive though

Agree0 Disagree0

How much of the revenue/profit from kit sales go to Celtic and Nike?

Agree0 Disagree0

Time to start bhoycotting the nike stuff then

Hearing we may be interested in Stephen Hunt, FFS. James McFadden and now him. When are we going to spend the cash reserves that we have on decent players who will make a difference to the team

Ed do you know if we are still interested in Juwon Oshaniwa?

LM67 {Ed007's Note - Good shout LM67, he could still be available and there never seemed any official end of talks as far as I can see.}

Believable4 Unbelievable4

LM67, don't know too much about him just heard we were linked with him last year or in january. Is he any good? Like I said don't know too much about him.

S

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Hull and Cardiff are rumoured to be interested. Pretty sure Oshaniwa said in January that he expected us to try and sign him in the Summer. Would be good competition for Emilio and wouldn't cost much

LM67

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not in Nigeria's Confed Cup squad so he may be injured or maybe he has suffered a loss of form.

Interesting to see that Steven Ireland has been told to find another club. Could he do a job for us in the middle of the park beside Broony and Super Joe. If we are going to lose Victor then having someone like Ireland could be a good move, he has played at a decent level and when his head is out of his erchie he is a very good player. Maybe being given the chance to go and compete every week would be enough to get the best out of him. Personally if the price was right I would take him, what you guys think.

Believable8 Unbelievable18

I think he would sell quite a few jumpers with his name on the back. although that might have zilch to do with his ability. shammy

Agree0 Disagree0

He's a cracking player on his day. really don't think we'd be able to match his salary demands tho

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, the guys a nut job!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not for me. Over paid and not any better than what we have. If we are going to be going for players we need to look beyond sqaud players since our youth system seems to be producing talent
Hew1888

Agree0 Disagree0

I knew someone would bring this guy up when I see he was released by villa! I seriously hope not, the guy is on daft wages for his ability. he's got loads of baggage and quite simply isn't good enough, just beacuse u play in EPL doesn't mean u play at a good level, why is he always told by his clubs to go? Not good enough? I've seen enough of him to say I DON'T want him wearing the hoops, be better served with youth or a better signin option than this pile of mince.

S

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a team player cause unrest every where he goes hence reason why he's constantly dropped and punted from every club he's been to also thinks he's a superstar and wants everything his way or the dummy gets spat out of pram
dhman

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure he's on 60k per week mate I doubt we would even offer him 15k a week so not likely. I say give kayal a run in the team if wanyama leaves.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whoever thinks stephen "england" would sell jerseys for us are of their nut. don't know one irish person that likes this guy. After pulling out of Ireland game because his "auntie died". his auntie wasnt too happy to hear she was dead when she read it in the paper

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't be surprised if the two persons (Lennon & Lawell) did not sign anyone else at all.

Another Stokes rumour resurfacing in this window - Huddersfield look to splash some cash for Stokesy. Got a knock back last year and they are looking for cover from selling Rhodes. I myself like Stokes and I hope he stays he is perfect for SPL and always seems to score the big goals. Him and Hooper were dynamite together but looks like either one or both won't be in Paradise next season. Welcome big Balde - hope you are a legend mate.

ShottsBhoy

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Stokes is available under freedom of contract. so they won't be slashing any cash

Ed any truth in the rumour doing the rounds on twitter that we are in for tom huddlestone {Ed007's Note - Ask who said it on Tw*tter. I have far better things to do with my time than condone or rubbish what is on there.}

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Why do u do it then if its a hinderance? Rumours page is it not called? People will ask questions! Just because your on your bad week ED don't take it out on folk! {Ed007's Note -Where in the page title does it mention Twitter? It doesn't so I basically have better things to do than comment on nonsense on Twatter that some fake ITK agent wants to spout. If you want to ask a question, ask who made the statement, it's not that difficult, really. Go and ask on Twatter when Guinness are sponsoring the stadium or Wesley Sneijder is signing for Man Utd.}

calm down man, seemed like an honest question to me.
You might think twitter and those who associate themselves with it are persons but the guy came on the site and asked a genuine question.
We're all fighting for the same cause after all. {Ed007's Note - Sorry JFK There's no right or wrong way only mine our). I refuse to waste time checking things made up by suppossedly ITK Twatter idiots who appear every window.}
