Ki will move to QPR for £7.5million next week. Celtic will then use this money to sign Markus Henriksen for £2.5million and will offer Bordeaux £2million for Michael Ciani.

I would love that, topped with Jordan Rhodes

Certainly doesn't look as if anyone will be bought until the proposed transfer of Ki goes through. Disappointing but hey ho.

Just read the dundee united statement in relation to the possible spl2 proposal. I know hearts have already released a statement opposing it but this is a very good strong and direct statement which firmly states their disgust at such goings on. Hopefully more teams will follow suit and nip this firmly in the bud before the corrupt ones get their way. Very reassuring especially in light of the disgrace coming out of inverness

Believable12 Unbelievable2

Im a rangers fan i agree with f*** spl2 we r quite happy in div 3 means clean slate everyones happy regan must go

Agree0 Disagree0

United have been really vocal in their opposition to Newco being handed everything on a plate. Lets do them a favour and take wee jonny russel off their hads for a few quid extra.

Agree0 Disagree0

How can Gilmour at St Mirren all of a sudden think the buddies will go down within weeks because sevco 5088 are going to div3, if it's only gonna take weeks then wots the diff for div1, doesn't make sense.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think you will find we want to go to div 3...its the spl chairmen including your own that want there way and gers in div 1......so much for there new found sense of sporting integrity!! couldnt make it up!

sorry for the cut and paste.

Dundee United have announced that they would not support the formation of an SPL 2 or any other route for Rangers newco to join the SPL.

The Terrors were among those to reject the idea of the newco at Ibrox entering the top tier of Scottish football.

The Gers have since been knocked down into Division 3, following a Scottish Football League vote.

It is still being suggested that there may be a route back up the ladder for the financially-crippled Old Firm outfit, but Dundee United have made it clear that they would be strongly against such action.

A statement released on the club's official website on Saturday read: "Following yesterday's democratic vote by the SFL clubs in favour of admitting The Rangers Football Club as an associate member of the SFL, but with the Third Division being the only acceptable position, Dundee United will now focus on our upcoming campaign while working together with the other SPL clubs to ensure the stability of the SPL and Scottish football in what will be an uncertain and extremely challenging financial environment.

"For the avoidance of doubt, following yesterday's vote, the club would not support any counter proposals for the formation of SPL 2 or regarding any other route for The Rangers Football Club to join the SPL.

"Now is the time for everyone to be united as one and we ask our supporters to stand alongside us as we face the challenges ahead."

So Sly intend to renege in TV deal. I think the Scottish fans should cancel all subscriptions with them if they carry out their threat do we need them when they obviously don't care about what happens to our game. The powers that be in Scottish football should have had this wrapped up by now, heads should roll at the top. The SFA looks to have other agendas and need to have an independent enquiry carried out on their leadership and membership to see of the are right and proper people to be running our game

Believable13 Unbelievable5

Sly dont have the balls they know what would happen up here,ITS ALL JOE GOEBBELS FROM THE LAPDOG LOYAL.SHAME ON THE LOT OF THEM....JIM THE TIM............YNWA...RIP JOE MCBRIDE........

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant cancel the sly! Without their constant crap on tv the mrs would want to have a conversation with me!

Seriously but, all thos threat of cancelling subscriptions is simply what is - pure talk. Not enough people subscribe to it just for the spl.

Heard from a reliable source we are going to lose 4 big earners hence the fact paddy n co have not been shipped out yet no signings either.....jiggythetim

Believable8 Unbelievable18

Paddys no been shipped out coz no1 wants a riot on their hands

Agree0 Disagree0

There are no big earners at paradise, our top paid player right now is on 22k pw, and that includes bonuses...most 1st team players are on 5-15k pw, which is not only sustainable, but well under budget!

sorry jiggy, but your reliable source is either a liar, or just made up

Ed is there any truth in izzy and sammi being linked with qpr ? theres alot of talk about it on the qpr rumours page

Hi Ed. I am sure I seen on SSN last night that Rangers were due to play Stranraer in the challange cup on July 28th at Ibrox but we are playing Inter at Parkhead on the same day. If their fixture is correct will both go ahead or will one be moved and if so which one?

Davey {Ed007's Note - I would say it would be the Rangers match that is moved and without being funny it might even be moved for TV.}

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Aye BBC Alba might demand that it be moved or they'll take their fiver back

Mikey Bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

League games will always take priority over friendlies. {Ed007's Note - They might let both games go ahead, the fact that CFC are playing Inter Milan wouldn't take anything away from a game between a 2nd and 3rd Division team. That's if the SFL3 team can get themselves ready in the space of two weeks.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Read somewhere that if they took over Stranrears fixtures they will play Stenhousemuir on 28th July in the Ramsden cup. Cant see them taking there cup fixtures, only there league ones.

Agree0 Disagree0

I read the other day that they were to play either Forfar or Brechin and i'm sure it said they were away to one of these teams.Do they definately play Stranraer?

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - I've got Stenhousemuir on the 28th July for Sevco.........}

Agree0 Disagree0

I read a fixture list somewhere but cant find again so dont know how or even if its official but it stated that sevco take dundees place in the cup v brechin stranraer are still in the cup and still expect to play stenhousemuir its only the league they replace stranraer but as i say dont know if its correct

Agree0 Disagree0

The Ramsdan cup is split into a north/east and south/west draw with Dundee/Dunfermline in a different draw from the team that used to be Rangers so l don't know how that will work out.

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought of that aswell but dundee is the only club to leave so someone from the other league will have to cross over to replace them ... ie if rangers replace stranraer then stranraer would need to play brechin bus as i say im not sure either and could be wrong my only interest in this is because my nephew plays for stranraer and i follow his games

i know it would not be popular but i would sell wanyama along with ki , ki is about to leave for between 7-8 mil and vic who is better and worth between 10-15 mil this would give us a kitty of between 17-23 mil and leave us with still our best 3 cm in ledley kayal and brown, withe money we could buy henrickson ciani if indeed wewant him and rhodes this would also cover the fee for ff and still leave us with between 5 and 11 mil profit and with youngsters knocking at the door we would be in a very healthy position for the next 4-5 years, , have been told there is money to spendand could keep both andbuy our main target henrickson but this would give us 6 cm and 3 or4of them wont play every week which i believe makes no senseand would only lead to unrest with the unhappy ones who are not playing ,,,,,,,deep river bhoy

Believable13 Unbelievable6

Mate you've been playing too much Football manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

Never in a million years will we recieve a bid of £10M - £15M for Wanyama & I very much doubt that we'll realise the £8M being banded about for Ki either unless it's based on performance/appearance add ons ,, we wont get that kind of money for them the only way we'd come close to those valuations would be for both of them to stay and perform exeptionally well in our fortcoming european campaign & even then it's it's extemely unlikely that the the two of them would command a combined £15M transfer fee imo .

Agree0 Disagree0

The ki figures in the media are supposed to be correct or someone can correct me if im wrong, and i believe wanyama is better now and has more potential than ki so would go for more that is why i put a wide price range , and i thought the new ethos of celtic was to buy cheap. develop sell for a profit then reinvest in the team,,, also to the football manager? guy i thought this was a celtic rumour /banter/discussion site where you can express your thoughts and opinions about the team so if you dont agree do what the other reply done and give me your thoughts on whether my point is valid or not rather than a snide remark,,,deep river bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the figures may be slightly off tbh but i completely agree with the OP. Ki seems to be off and big Vic has been banging on about moving so i would also let them go and buy Henriksen and Rhodes if possible. If not it would still provide us with a great kitty for a right decent striker and centre half

Gary

Agree0 Disagree0

OP makes sence. Vic is a talent but I'd rather trade him & Ki in & get a bid CB & CR with still enough in the bank to cover FF.

Morning Ed,

Obviously we all know Killie were the only ones to vote in Sevco's favour in the SPL.

I believe Stenhousemuir went on record saying they were voting in their favour for SFL1 and QoS have came out since then saying they voted for them.

Any idea who the other three teams were and who was the only team to deny them entry to the SFL?!

HamiltonBhoy {Ed007's Note - Kilmarnock didn't vote in favour of Sevco they abstained. I don't know who the other 3 teams were, as it was a private vote I think it would be just speculating.}

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Albion rovers rejected them all together from scottish football

Agree0 Disagree0

Accies have said they voted for newco as well because of play off and more fairer split of money etc.

Daz the Hoopy {Ed007's Note - That shocked me TBH, I was told by someone high up in Accies they would be voting no. Depending where you read, if you count the teams that are rumoured to have voted for Sevco to enter SFL1 it is 7 out of the 30 but the official count was only 5.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Shocked me to ed because I remember reading not that long ago that Accies had said they where voting no.

Here's a novel idea: could Celtic and Rangers fans , in fact all true football fans not for once bury the hatchet and unite to protest in a vote of no confidence in the SPL / SFA? Does ANYONE trust them or believe they are good for the game in Scotland ? , or that they have the game at heart? Jobs for the boys are bad enough but this lot are doing real damage not only to football , but also , I'm writing from China, to the image of Scotland(as a fair egalitarian country).  What's the saying- The only thing necessary for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing." The next few years will be an ideal time for the Celtic recriutment team
to attract new young fans. Many uncommitted children who are not
from a bigotted family will be choosing their first and lifelong club.
Very often kids pick the top team of the moment and more often than not
they do not choose a wee diddy club.

Believable11 Unbelievable5

Wish the usage of wee diddy team expression would stop. These teams helped to put some integrity back into scottish football.
Tambhoy (original)

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I agree, Wrong wording . The so called diddy team. Why call any team that

Agree0 Disagree0

So sorry to break the news to you but i think you might be including the old firm in that statement because if you see the kids of today they have all got premiership tops on know man utd,man city,liverpool,chelsea and arsenal to name but a few these kids are seeing scotland as a breeding ground for diddy teams and parents are trying to steer there kids away from the hatered that is scottish football

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm glad all you guys posted this. Just highlights how stupid and diddy the original poster is. Some folk are still full of hatred and just can't leave things be and move on. Unfortunately. No wonder kids choose to wear arsenal or man u shirts etc. you should be truly ashamed original poster! J

Morn Ed. Hopefully all of this nonesense wae the manky mob is done and we can concentrate on CFC for the new season IMO its a great opportunity for us to blood the young bhoys (McGeoch) in particullar but Watt Twardzik etc are'nt ready for europe yet.We need a strong CH more than a CF. What do you think? Great job wae site mate HH {Ed007's Note - Thanks mate.
