ed; can you think back an tell me why jum ( y are u so good brian) white got the bullet from stv....i say it was for a anti celtic remark my mate says its he just left to join sky.... {Ed007's Note - I don't care TBH. He's an idiot.}

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Jim White's a legend. Bit of a cheese merchant but quite funny with it.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is an idiot who is earning a lot more than you ed.............unless you are the liewell. {Ed007's Note - You have no idea what I earn and how, or what money I have behind me. My financial situation is of no concern of yours what so ever. Do you know how much he gets paid annually? I stand by my statement, he is an idiot.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Sure he was sacked for saying that "Fu****g Celtic would love this result" after killie scored an equaliser against Rangers in time added on.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed in your opinion he is an idiot .... i do not i also thinnk the guy is a legend and gains a lot of respect amongst fellow pundits. It wouldnt suprise me if he said that on the STV, showing his colours but if he did say what was said above its hardly the worst thing in the world eh?! {Ed007's Note - LMAO respected by fellow pundits? He is hardly a pundit, pundits give opinions, he is news reporter for a channel that is geared towards parting people with their money through their gambling division. Don'y you find it strange he is never on Soccer Saturday with the real pundits? He is well suited to working for Murdoch.}

Agree0 Disagree0

What is approx. six inches long, and hangs down between laudrup's legs?
Jim Whyte's Tie!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, you are the idiot, I couldn t give a toss how much you make, even how you make it. If it is legal these days good luck to you, you however support the most despised club in Britain........................esp by English clubs. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. xx {Ed007's Note - You brought up money you clown! As for being despised all over Britain, I have been to stadiums all over the UK and Europe watching CFC, always been made very welcome by opposition fans except for Chelsea. Going to Old Trafford is a fantastic experience that I would recommend to any CFC fan. For some strange reason the people of Manchester don't like Rangers, any idea why? I take it you support the club that is hated throughout Europe and wrecked the Nou Camp after winning a European trophy there, where your captain at the time (the guy that warned you all about Shooter and you chose to ignore) had to be presented the trophy in a small room, leading to the club not being allowed to defend it the next year. I hope you are a female with the xx at the end of your post, otherwise I am flattered but no thanks, I am a happily married man.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If we're the most despised club in Britain, especially in England, how is it we get invited to so many prestigious friendlies and one off tournaments? Now go get your dummy out your arse, go home and suck it.
Ben Bhoy 1916 {Ed007's Note - Good afternoon Ben.}

constantin wants uefa president michel platini arrested for disobeying a court order to have sion reinstated

Believable6 Unbelievable3

That can't be true the court only ruled that sion had a case mate offcourse they were going to win a case in a swiss court if the court have such powers then Celtic should go to a court in Glasgow and demand we deserve the sol title last year for all the cheating the bears were doing :) lol

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a conspiracy it's a conspiracy it's a conspiracy it's a conspiracy. Lmao cheating lmao.
Followfollow81

Agree0 Disagree0

It says on the stv website that constantin wants him arrested

Hi Ed, hearing a lot of stuff about sion today. Does this latest loss for them mean we are now defiantly in the Europa league now?
Nickybhoy {Ed007's Note - They can appeal, they have ten days to put in a written appeal to the CAS. UEFA will make a statement about the Vaud court's ruling at a later date.}

By: Newsroom Staff on 13 Sep, 2011 14:25

THE UEFA Appeals Body today rejected FC Sion's appeal against their expulsion from the group stages of this season's Europa League.

Celtic were reinstated to the competition, and will take on Atletico Madrid, Udinese and Rennes. The first match takes place this Thursday, September 15 at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid.

Clearly, Celtic are pleased with the decision.

Can anyone advise of any good Celtic pubs in Blackpool ? Heading down this weekend and cant seem to find any by searching the net and don't fancy watching the rotten mob being humped in one of there pubs. {Ed007's Note - I will ask Ed003 when I am talking to him mate. He is from Blackpool so should be able to help out. I haven't been down for years so I don't even know if the BlackpoolShamrock CSC is still going. Anyone else help out?}

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Little Fat Jacks on George street shows the games stil as far as I am aware and a lot of the members from the Blackpool SHamrock CSC go their for live screenings. The supporters club is alive and well and run a bus to all games just for your info Ed. I will contact the committee and get u further hostelries to assist in ur enjoyment of your weekend. Have fun Hail HAil Jim Doc {Ed007's Note - Thanks very much Jim, much appreciated.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Update from above.... The Blackpool CSC now runs from Waterloo social club on St Annes Rd. AKA as the 'tin hut'- I know not why! There is also a band called Gary OG playing there on Saturday night which will no doubt play a few ditties from the homeland! Good atmosphere apparently from a very reliable source and sounds like the ideal place for a Blackpool bound Tim to while away a few hours thus weekend! Jim Doc {Ed007's Note - Again, thanks Jim.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm a member of Blackpool CSC and we now watch all games at the waterloo social club aka the tin hut. Gary Og will be playing on Saturday night. The tin hut is on st annes road opposite palatine high school and is a 5 minute drive from Blackpool town centre. You will also find a good number of Tims in little fat jacks on George Street and Loads more in the Blackpool Trades and Social club on chadwick street. Hope this helps. Andy H {Ed007's Note - Cheers Andy.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks all for the help in tracking down a pub with a 'party atmosphere', much appreciated. Let hope were all celebrating as I'm sure we will. Just need to hope its not as busy as my local 'The Brazen Head' on match days or I might not get in.

Sky sports news sayin sion are back in and we are out :( its a joke

Believable2 Unbelievable11

13 Sep 2011 12:22:35
If what SSN are saying is true then UEFA are an absolute disgrace. Sion field ineligible players and get away with it. {Ed007's Note - SSN are behind everyone else, the court has said they should be reinstated, UEFA have not said anything. Why do people keep thinking that if it is on SSN it is 100% reliable? It is only a newspaper and an advertising outlet for their gambling division. How many of their 'Sky Sports News understands.....' stories during the transfer window actually came true? All of us editors knew exactly what was going on with Nasri going to Man City before Sky did. On 31st of August about 11 a.m. they said 'Big News coming out of Old Trafford coming up shortly'. Their big news was that Wesley Sneijder's odds of leaving Inter Milan had been cut. Complete waste of time to sit and watch it IMO. Think about The S*n on TV, that is all it basically is. The verdict won't be heard till after 14.00, they have broke for lunch right now.}

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Hi Ed, Thanks for clearing up the current situation i understand what you are saying about sky sports news but they have really ruined my day so far! lol so i suppose we all just need our minds put at rest, the question i imagine we are all gonna ask you is what do you think the verdict will be at 2 oclock?
Thanks Ro. {Ed007's Note - I actually don't see what has changed from the original hearing, the court had said the same thing then and UEFA expelled them. The court also didn't hear anything from UEFA or Celtic, it was only Sion that presented a case.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed, I never said what SSN said was 100% true I was merely saying if it is there its a joke. I totally understand what your saying though mate {Ed007's Note - I wasn't getting directly at you mate, sorry. I had a wad of posts saying the same thing. From CFC and Rangers supporters.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree about the much over-rated SSN who wallow in their own hype and fail to retract any of the ridiculous 'news' they themselves generate on speculation.
They wee clones in their auld mans suits and -sorry to be sexist- the dolly birds that struggle to even read what's fed to them on auto-cue. They are a prpoganda unit for all things ENGLAND even though the rest of the UK pays the same subs...

there is not going to be a beachball sunday because sion have won in the swiss courts {Ed007's Note - They still haven't beat UEFA though, the meeting is ongoing.}

Believable1 Unbelievable8

If uefa rule in sions favour it will show the rest of the world how incompetant uefa are,and that means any team can play players who should not be allowed to play from now on,this situation should never have gone on for as long as it has.

Agree0 Disagree0

How many times does it have to be said. The Swiss Courts do not have any jurisdiction over the rules of UEFA and its Members.

Sion's ban upheld, git yer beachballs out!!

Ed, people were talking about a "big announcement" on one of the other Celtic site's, they are talking about a kit sponsorship deal, similar to ,Man Utd, although not as much obviously. But that it is dependant on Celtic going into Europa League, hence why no announcement yet made until after tuesday hearing. hail hail Neil T

Hi ed got to laugh,we are getting around £300,000 for 16y old footballers from the youth team and Rangers are paying that for full internationals.MACCA {Ed007's Note - We will also be entitled to a percentage of any future transfer fee MACCA.}
