Qpr make adel taarabt available on loan cracking player if we get group stages surely he'd come? {Ed007's Note - No chance, his attitude is atrocious and he is nothing but an overall arrogant bad apple. Imagine the complete opposite of Lubo or Naka times 10 and you might be close.
At QPR at one point you were fined if you passed to him in your own half during a match. His attitude has wasted his career, he should have been playing at a higher level but manager's don't want his baggage.
Can't you remember he ducked from a Maloney free-kick so it wouldn't hit his face?? The guy is a plum and QPR have been desperate to get rid of him, just like Tottenham were. Nobody will buy him from them so they have resorted to offering him out on loan.}

Believable8 Unbelievable10

Depending on how much of his wages QPR would be willing to pay, I'd definitely take him! He's exactly what we need, attacking midfield playmaker, who can also play on the wing. If his attitude creates problems for us then we could just boot him out and send him back to QPR since he'd be on loan. {Ed007's Note - You can't just 'boot' a player out when he is on loan, for a start there is a contract that contains amongst other things a loan fee the club pays and then there would be a penalty for us breaking the contract.}

Agree0 Disagree0

But how do u really feel Ed {Ed007's Note - Well I forgot to mention that it would be another pointless loan, more money down the drain and someone else to take a jersey off a player we actually own, including a youth player hence holding back our youth development. Fans are moaning that we are a selling club, they need to spend money etc etc and now everyone is screaming for another loan signing!! Talk about fickleness....}

Agree0 Disagree0

The oppoe ae lubo x 10 your you sayin he's like lee maculloch?
timbo tuck 2 {Ed007's Note - I wouldn't go that far.}

Agree0 Disagree0

have him at 5/1 to join Celtic. Maybe part of a deal that sees Gary Hooper move to QPR? £5m + Taarabt for a season, I wouldn't be complaining!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he can be a magical player on his day but i'd rather we bought some one on jp's List or gave rogic the game time he needs as soon as our mf starts passing rogic will shine

i do like adel but he has way to many issues I can't understand why we havnt made contact for Barbosa the lads a free agent!! and if we wanted to try and push the boat out why are we not putting a bid in for stocker of basil?

Agree0 Disagree0

Rather play with ten men!AH between sept. and feb. we would a complete waster no one would touch him, that's why there's talk of a loan, and I hate loan deals. al geri.

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont see him putting in much of a shift at inverness away in december. not the type of player we want.

Agree0 Disagree0

Won the Championship on his own 2 years ago and would rip the SPL apart. Insanely talented footballer but a complete egomaniac but if things are going his way he's worth the admission price himself.

Ed, do you rate Cameron Stewart? Hull have said he is allowed to leave. Not seen him play that often but I remember he was one of the brightest prospects in the championship. Not sure if he would start this season but could be good in years to come {Ed007's Note - I vaguely remember him being a youth player at Man Utd but I really don't know much about him after that, sorry.}

Believable11 Unbelievable6

Good player just needs to keep working hard! I can see hull regretting this in the future!

It would appear Gary Hooper has kicked his last ball for Celtic. Anthony Stokes has signed a new contract which will be confirmed in the next few days. Mouyokolo has passed his medical but there have been a few minor problems with his contract - it is believed that he would prefer a two-year deal than the one year being offered by the club. Celtic's new away kit will be revealed next week.

I'm a big fan of if they show any hint that they don't want to play forceltic sell them ther and then, hooper like Vic might in a couple of years might have enough money instead of ten million at the end of ther time they will have 20 30 even but the fact is it's football suicide and like so many of these filthy greedy men will sit back in years to come and wake up to what they have done I have put 30 on Southampton to go down and when they do it will make my day to see big Vic's face then the agent tripe that victor is not happy and wants to move to Europe I will bet it is Spain that is rumored, ya Vic thanks for the memory's and I wish you all the best but it is writing you have one year in your dream league, football suicide

Agree0 Disagree3

Just be grateful that we had players like Wanyama and Hooper and what they did for us. Sick of hearing bitter fans when a player leaves us for a premier league club. Who cares if they leave for more money? We don't know what they were getting paid at Celtic, or what we are offering them. If we offered Wanyama and Hooper wages that matched other too earners, which they would deserve, then they might stay. No doubt Lawell was quick to take £12.5m.

Agree2 Disagree0

To reply 2, it started so well, you're right we were blessed to have such players, and here's hoping we continue to find those players, but your thinly veiled dig at PL is out of order. £12.5M for a player we paid £900,000 for is great business.

No I will not be grateful, Neil Lennon: He made Victor Wanyama, developed him JUST AS HE DID WITH GH, Lennon put them in the lime light gave them the game time and played the game around them that would show them at there best, he can do this with any player that has the talent to shine, never forget what celtic did for them.

Agree1 Disagree1

You might be right. It might be greed that drives a player to move to a club that pays better. Maybe moving to a better paid job is just something that a miser would do.
On the other hand, I guess we could all do with a bit more cash, and epl sides aren't exactly the depths of obscurity. Big Vic has made a move to an epl side where he's likely to be playing every week. Hooper is a ambitious, and that's why he's been so good for us. He wants to play against the best, and not just for 10 or 12 games a year.
Our players and ex players get my support. We didn't give Henrik this crap when his ambition took him to Barca.
Good players have ambition. Celtic is a big club, but as far as playing against the best, testing your mettle against other world class players, the SPL doesn't cut it.
It would be greedy not to let them try.

Ed is there any truth in links that Billy Sharp will be heading to Glasgow. I know a few people have spoke about him on here before but my Southampton fan friends who think "they are in the know"; although, they were right about Wanyama, have said that the relations built will see Sharp move to Celtic when Hooper leaves.

A done a post a while ago about billy sharp sayin f wanyama went 2 southampton a would like us 2 try and get sharp included in the deal. Surely if lenny fancied getting him he would have tried 2 strike sme sort of player plus cash deal for sharp a can't see us getting the 12m for vic then going back in with cash for sharp now

Not saying its true, but Sharp is linked with Celtic in the Sunday People today

I really think Celtic should enquire about a loan move for Tottenham's Steven Caulker. He is a very good central defender but starts were limited under AVB last season due to good form of Vertonghen & Dawson particularly in the second half of the season. He is at the age where he needs games and the potential lure of CL football could be tempting for both him and for Spurs.

Thoughts Ed007 & posters?

Believable5 Unbelievable8

That's a good shout mhate, very good centre half but even with CL football I very much doubt he'd be interested.

Mulgrew, Wilson, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Mouyokolo. Focus on signing other positions!

Agree0 Disagree0

He made 28 appearances for Spurs last season, he's very much part of AVB's plans. GET REAL!

Just heard that the Italian press are reporting we've made a bid for some striker called Matteo Ardemagni from Atlanta. Heard anything Ed?

~seamus~ {Ed007's Note - Matteo Ardemagni is attracting attention from Parma, Catania and Palermo. Apparently he was recently offered to Rapid Vienna as part of a deal for Terrence Boyd that was quickly rejected. Boyd would be a good buy for someone but I am not sure of the fee Vienna would be looking for.}

Believable3 Unbelievable5

Terrence Boyd is regarded as one of their best assets and still young with potential. They would be unlikely to sell for anything under £4million.
