A hink we should jst take the chance with Adam La Fondre Scored 2 goals the day, price is roughly 650k. Cheap for a goal scorer whats your thoughts
Believable23
Unbelievable9
There's a few Championship clubs in for him, I don't see why not reasonably cheap plus it's not as though we're exactly struggling for strikers or goals, so why not give him a chance
Agree0
Disagree0
Would b a great addition to the squad n will get goals
Agree0
Disagree0
Takhe him now hes a brave lad and good finisher around penalty box
Agree0
Disagree0
Not bad player.dont think we will sign anybody we have no money, plus we have about 45 players already at the club the wages must be takin up all the transfer kitty we have.
Agree0
Disagree0
Who cares about this guy?let's aim higher or don't spend
Agree0
Disagree0
Could score a few goals, but not what's needed The other guy guy said aim higher, me too Le Fondre would b a panic buy
Agree0
Disagree0
Why aim higher there no point anymore look at ledley k wilson hooper stokes mattews
Agree0
Disagree0
This guy La Fondra plays in the bottom tier in the English leagues.
If Maloney or Murphy played down there they would both be top scorers in such a pish league.
Thinking a player from this level of football could be the answer is nothing short of plain f***ing stupid.
Jesus, please don't say that this is the level we're looking at
Agree0
Disagree0
"we have no money" ? why are the gers fans on here again ?
Agree0
Disagree0
No bein funny but did u post the same thing on the gers site about takin a chance on le fondre... its the exact same post haha r u his agent by any chance
Agree0
Disagree0
Think i would rather take a chance on ryan lowe of bury
i think he is younger and better
Agree0
Disagree0
Cos the bottom tier of the english league is your standard
Agree0
Disagree0
Regarding post that says he is from the lower leagues of english football...and your point being considering hooper was signed from Scunthorpe, commons from derby and stokes from hibs...are they not 3 of our top players signed from diddy teams or playing at an inferior level to celtic. Its not what team you play for its how good a talent you are and how you adapt to a step up. all 3 players mentioned would have been deemed not good enough based on your thesis.
Agree0
Disagree0
So only teams in the top flight in the english leagues bring through good players? I think he would be a great buy, especially as we payed more than 1mil for Murphy

Lenny has confirmed Mo Idrissou is coming in on trial next week What's your opinion on bringing players in on trial Ed I'm not a fan surely we should be looking for established players not ones who are surplus to requirements at their respective clubs Also there are no more friendlies to watch this guy in action Anyone else agree? {Ed007's Note - I'm not the biggest fan of trials, especially at this point of the transfer window.}
Believable11
Unbelievable2
Hmm, I saw in The Sun the were going for him, no idea why not a goal scorer in any sense hitting the tale end of his career as well, can only see his height as an advantage
Agree0
Disagree0
Waste of time as we never sign any of the trialists
Agree0
Disagree0
I live in Germany and this guy is poor. My mate is a gladbach fan and when i asked how good this guy was he started laughing. Explained Celtic might sign him and he said are you sure he is rubbish.
Agree0
Disagree0
Folks we keep going for these trialist as we aint willing to spend money , bellamy is the big name we are chasen if we get him that is another thing

13 Aug 2011 17:38:21
Idrissou coming on trial early next week
Believable18
Unbelievable4
Why are we going for a 31 year old who struggled to score last season? People say we dont have money to buy a half decent striker last season we spent 9.6M but brought in 16.1M in transfers this season we have spent 800k and got two bosmans and dont forget about the wages we saved getting rid of big earners too. Time to spend money on a good forward and goalkeeper

hi ed you heard anything about kelvin wilson going back to forest family cant settle here mclaren wants to take him back {Ed001's Note - not as far as I know, it does take time to settle though.}
Believable2
Unbelievable35
A canni see big kelvin wilson goin bk to forrest naw after eh way they treated cause he Signed a pre contract way uz
Agree0

I know the person that owns the flat celtic are renting for kelvin and i know his girlfriend has not joined him so i dont think she can be unsettled until she gets up here
Agree0
Disagree0
Nottingham and Glasgow not much of a difference It's no like it's Russia lol Lot of rubbish and if they r home sick big Wilson could commute between the 2. Lots of players over the years have done it, david"the pensioner" weir still does it.
Big Bad John

Aiden is a cracking player and worth it especially if Ronaldo is worth 70 million. Would be a welcome bons for lenny to improve our squad. If its such a joke then go back to Ibrox and tell me how much your new players are worth. They are shocking but at least you still have the SFA saving Super Sally

What do you expect ? it will never change, rotten to the core
Agree0
Disagree0
Rangers are really poor to watch it was never a pen if we dont win the league this year we should just give football up bec they are pure shi..
Agree0
Disagree0
Clear cut penalty should have had another 2 for hand ball talk about diving i remember that wee t1t commons diving and getting booked in a pre season friendly by the way over on your banter pages makes good reading IN NEIL LENNON WE TRUST my ar5e lol
Agree0
Disagree0
Same old same old. This is why people stop whatching scottish footie.......you knew the ref was dying to help them out
bristolcelt
Agree0
Disagree0
How that big centre half went down so easy after the strength he demonstrated in the first half is beyond me. really is puzzling. the spl title race started today then.
Agree0
Disagree0
Naismiths at it in every single game,if hes not falling on his ar*e,hes trying to referee most of the match...hes a wee planker.basherbhoy
Agree0
Disagree0
Commons never dives he does not have to hes that good rangers are pis... really the second pen the day was soft to but the first one was never in a million years cheaten bas...
Agree0
Disagree0
It was clearly a penalty, a two footed lunge by the last man in the box, the ref had no choice and as for your suggestion of bias, how does the perfectly good goal and two good penalty shouts in the first half being turned down fit into your equation?
Agree0
Disagree0
Tokely won the ball, thats a fact, jelavic was offside after a touch from edu, thats a fact, naismiths a diver and a cheat,i know it.. you know it.. and he knows it.
Agree0
Disagree0
"Clear cut penalty should have had another 2 for hand ball"
Your are a deluded fool, Naismith missed several chances, picked wrong passes and fell over his own feet for penalty Maribor will be pissing themselves laughing at that game Bring on September 18th
Hail Hail
DazzaBhoy
Agree0

Ye know you guys have been talkin cextic for that long ye are actually starting to believe yer own delusion...it's a conspiracy...
Agree0
Disagree0
Just had a look at the incidents.
The first is a tricky one to call depending on where you're standing but looking at the replays it was an inch perfect tackle and the change of direction in the ball in the same direction of the defender's incoming foot would tell you that Tokely made contact with it. To argue with this is to argue against the laws of physics. Wasn't a dive by Naismith but not a penalty and in no way was it a "two footed lunge".
The second penalty was never in a million years a penalty. Blatant dive.
Didn't get a decent angle for the offside as the footage was rubbish and it didn't show the handballs.
Agree0
Disagree0
The ref was dying to help Rangers. You really are a paranoid bunch. The Israeli FA are against us, UEFA are against us, the SFA against us. Or maybe you are just bad.
Agree0
Disagree0
Ed007 is the original post really the sort of comments you want on your site? {Ed007's Note - If that is the posters opinion, then there is nothing wrong with.}
Agree0
Disagree0
Never a pen but they should av had 2 in 1st half and an early goal think were in trouble this year again
Agree0
Disagree0
The soft pens were only given because the earlier penalty "screams" were refused The usual for the same standard I'd ref. He even sent off chris rock As if to make up for his mistakes
Agree0
Disagree0
Would the ball have moved away to the side if he hadnt got it? i think not. the rangers 12th man earned his wages today
Agree0
Disagree0
If that was celtic yesterday, uz woulda phoned the FBI
Agree0
Disagree0
I love the fact that Celtic fans still constantly call us crap & go on about how bad we are supposedly yet the still couldn't win the league last year. They had the chance & they CHOKED. Is this the same Kris Commons who said last year we are gonna win the league because we are younger, fitter & better than rangers :L He is a t**t

Aidan Mcgeady for 27Million to zenit, haha thats a laugh
Believable17
Unbelievable8
Hows it a laugh its well documented fact that zenit are preparing or already offered a deal for that amount.
Agree0

Why dont you just go back to your own pages, and suck up all the disapointments your team have suffered in the transfer market.
If this is true it is a bonus for Celtic, if not who cares.
Agree0

A would hiv mcgeady bak it celtic any day eh the week, fantastic player man.... ur obviously just a sad wee rankers fan thtss no gt a clue
1 neil lennon
Agree0

If charlie adams worth 7.5 mill then mcgeadys worth at least 50 million, go back to the dark side orc
Agree0
Disagree0
If celtic is getting 1.7 add on bonus on 10% for mcgeady then the fee is 17 mill add the 10 that celtic sold him for that makes 27 mill , c'mon people read the whole article
Agree0

Zenit must have lost the plot im a celtic fan hes worth about 2.7 he gets found out to many times thinks hes better than wot he is should try a better league.

I have relised recently that a lot of people don't like Scott brown but if you.look at the game v aberdeen it was like a friendly and I felt Scott brown would of made the difference he brings a bit of fight and can get Celtic picked up by doing things ( even by starting a little fight) I think he is a great player anyone agree?.
Believable32
Unbelievable10
He is not a gifted player but he does make other players fight for the cause and he drives us forward
Agree0

Great player??lmao,,for 25 grand a week he should be able to pass a ball ,and anyone can run around like a headless chicken
Agree0

Anyone remember roy keane of manchester united and us=scott brown
Agree0
Disagree0
Scott Brown is not a headless chicken. The guy could easily do a job in the premiership and Celtic are fortunate to have him. The boy has had a hard time personally and he has got some grit and courage. It depends who is on the pitch with him. For example Lenny and PL would compliment his game more than KI..although Ki is highly rated by me at least
