Well it's about to hit the fan.Alex Thomson on clyde phone in monday.He is challenging any journo who said he was lying re; threats from scottish journo's,to come and face him up! I would think Guidi and Keevins might be otherwise engaged that night.At last these clowns are about to be faced down by a proper journalist they cant cut off. The big question is this; When he names him,will the abuser be able to show his face far less print anything?.........green jhedi

Believable14 Unbelievable2

Let's hope he names and shames traynor tho bit of a red neck that fat tw@t could do you in a square go

Ska bhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Clydes ratings will be through the roof.
Cant wait for the grovelling so called football pundits reactions. Hope Alex has
a list of questions for them and shows them up big time. CM

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont get the hatred of the likes of traynor etc. if you dont like what they say, then why read or listen to them when it only infuriates you? lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Guidi is a tim he is lapping this up

Agree0 Disagree0

Chick person and traynor being wined and dined by rangers for years

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope wee darryl king is on the show. thomson will rip him to bits with his intelligence.

Agree0 Disagree0

Matt lyndsay has went into hiding since Alex has challanged them ... no 400 miles of distance .

a lot of people seem to want russell from dun utd , while i think he is ok what would we be buying him as a squad player with poteentialor starting striker , at this time i dont think he is better than hooper or stokes so with bangura we would have 4 similar types of striker added to that if watt or keatings got a chancethat would be 6 similar strikers , just my thoughys what about everyone elses ,,,,deep river bhoy

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Agreed mate

Agree0 Disagree0

I think russell's better coming from slightly deeper,good if you play with 5 in midfield......green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

"poteentialor" ? Ed Help . {Ed007's Note - Potential.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye a think he'd give us a good option wide left(works ten times harder than commons) and has more pace than stokes or hooper up front, defo think he's worth a punt. Still think main prority is a big strong target man tho
mcdab

Agree0 Disagree0

One thing he can do well is header a ball. something none of our forwards cant seem to do

Agree0 Disagree0

I would not go for Russel, McKay Stevens is the won to fill left sided gap by a royal mile!
Sailorbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

If we were going to sign anyone from Dhndee Utd, I would rather try and get Jon Daly.

Another day and yet another round of sycophantic cheerleaders in
tabloids mouthing off about how unfair it is of the SFA and SPL sides insisting on a new rule book to deal with admin/liquidated teams.
Can I just ask WHY?!?!

This embarassment and shameful club obviously feel its alright to run up debt then walk off because they're too big, feck right off!

its this attitude that makes everyone want to see them suffer.
Remember their esteemed leader who once pronounced that "it's just business".
what goes around eh, you mug!

Believable4 Unbelievable8

Totally agree the arrogance of raa peepel is breathtaking....the latest is to not go to any away grounds of the spl clubs...the neaderthawls don't realize it was THEIR PEEPEL that put them where they are today, not the other spl clubs, all the other spl clubs want is a fair crack of the whip to have a level playing field and not to have them get off scot free due to them being to big to fail...nonsense, look at Italy a few years back and the big clubs they dealt with, if you do the crime you have to do the time, there are no shortcuts in life, surely they see that now, take your punishment and save what dignity you have left.

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't worry about the shame or the SFA or SPl they will be punished , do you seriously think uefa will sit back or not be talking privately the the SFA or SPL telling them they better deal with the shame, they won't be pulling in any favours or handshakes with uefa, so let them talk as much sh1te as they like, Ally knows he been hinting liquidation for weeks.

Wish Neil would give Mark Wilson a run out. He shoule be given a wee
chance. CM

Believable16 Unbelievable5

Is he no injured

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he was outstanding last season......green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Think mark is injury free at the moment

Agree0 Disagree0

I think MW dropped out of NL plans when his proposed move from Celtic was on the cards a few months ago. Lets face it there are others who can do a job as well as him and he runs the risk of getting injured again which means he would not get a new club. I think NL would love to give MW a game or two before the end of the season. I have no proof but I fear every game MW plays could be his last hence the care taken with him. I have a soft spot for the laddie and like Shaun Maloney he never played anywhere near as much as he should and failed to reach the heights his talent deserved because his body just is not up to the rigour of the modern game. I would hope CFC can in his case be a bit less business like and keep him around for a year or two more. He is a great lad by all accounts.

Agree0 Disagree0

HEAR HEAR. Mark is a great wee guy and very loyal to CFC

Just been reading STVs suggestions for player of the year. Out of the 9
people asked to name their top 5 players BIG RAMAN was the only one
to include any Rangers players. He went for McGregor and Naismith.
CM

Believable9 Unbelievable1

What do you expect. The guys an absolute tube.

Agree0 Disagree0

When wis the last time naismith played?
Big Raman is a joke

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you see their other headline : Jason Roberts dreams of playing for Celtic , is doping acceptable : what's that all about ....DH

Agree0 Disagree0

I've actually met Big Raman. He is a Celtic fan. Maybe he is trying to cover that by selecting a few of them in the name of balance. Dont think Naismith has played since October so that's a laugh. db

Agree0 Disagree0

If Raman is a Celtic man he should practice honesty and integrity and to hell with balance. CM

not a rumour here just a question if we dont sign big forster who would you like to come in i wouldnt mind a return for david marshall what yous think
davie c {Ed007's Note - If Forster doesn't sign I think Craig Gordon will be brought in Davie, I have said that for months. I am not saying I agree with that, but I think that is what will happen.}

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I agree with you ed mate i think it will be gordon also but i was just wondering who other fans would like to see instead of gordon who when fit is a good keeper but theres no gaurantee he will be so i still not sure if he is worth the risk when there is plenty of good keepers in championship and league 1 like marshall or the keeper at hudderfield smithies even camp at derby(i think) would imo be better options although i dont know how much money their clubs would be looking for davie c {Ed007's Note - Smithies has been scouted and a definite approach would have been made last summer if Forster had not came back.}

Agree0 Disagree0

How about cammy bell bb

Agree0 Disagree0

Would we get mcgregor on the cheap? {Ed007's Note - As back up to Zaluska if Fortser doesn't stay?}

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the swansea goalkeeper would be good. can't remember his name any thoughts?

Sweeney {Ed007's Note - Michel Vorm?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yep ed. thanks. vorm his name. any 1 think he be any good?

Sweeney {Ed007's Note - He looks decent from what little I have seen of him.}

Agree0 Disagree0

@sweeney;i think we had a chance with vorm but lenny took forster instead.........green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard Vorm is being watched by all the big teams in England and Germany.Shame,i think he's a great keeper.My choice would be Holy Goalie,failing that Kasper Schmeichael (sp).

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would love to see Gordon at Parkhead.......a fit Gordon though. Still rather have Forster though.

Joeshmo1888

Agree0 Disagree0

McGregor, Bell and Gordon all Rangers men! {Ed007's Note - Bell plays for Kilmarnock and Gordon is at Sunderland just now. You are right about McGregor he is at Rangers although it looks like he will do a 'Di Caprio' in the summer (GTF off a sinking/sunk ship).}

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't mind newcastle goalkeeper lol

Sweeney

Agree0 Disagree0

FF is by far the man with the biggest potential and on current form is showing as a very good and dare I say it European class goalie. I would hate to lose him and even if they over-pay him, better that than lose him now. Top teams all have special goalkeepers and if we want to be a top team then keeping him is a must. I hope NL thinks this and it seems he does as he is working hard on this. If FF goes I will be very disappointed not least because he has developed hugely in the last few years due to his hard work of course but also due to CFC coaching staff and their commitment to help and support him. He has been given the big stage lets hope he is less concerned about huge pay cheques and more concerned with repaying those who had faith in him to develop and improve. Remember NU could not wait to get rid of him initially, now they smell a big pay day at Celtics expense and are causing some disquiet, which to me is a bit unfair. I really have no idea who would bring in but Craig Gordon is not the answer. Goalies are a funny lot you just never know what they are going to do next!...on and off the field.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed 007 if McGregor does decide to leave Rangers - and good luck to him wherever he goes - Bell and Gordon would be Rangers targets and their 1st choice before Celtic! {Ed007's Note - I think you will find Neil Alexander will be Rangers GK next season, if he stays. Rangers could not afford Gordon's wages or even a financial deal for Bell. It still doesn't explain why you thought they were already Rangers players though.}

Just a question.If rankers use of EBT's was all above board,why are the recipients not paying back the loans they received to help out in these fiscally troubled times? Why has the Scottish Press not been hunting these players for a quote? Could it be that these were classed as wages all along? Add to the mix the rangers connections through the years at SFA level,and it does start to stink.The precedent has been set for the use of unregistered players but what a can of worms that would be! Could clubs sue for losing a cup final,euro places?No wonder UEFA are watching this unfold.This might be far,far from over.............green jhedi

Believable8 Unbelievable3

I think that one has already been mentiobes about clubs sueing but rangers were eliminated my marseille in the 90's who then lost their title but rangera wrrent compensates. Or when ac milan won the champions league off the back of being convicted of match fixing. As for the "loans" they dont have a set repayment date etc like hp.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is not Rangers that paid the players the loans, which makes it complicated.

A seperate EBT was set up for each player, each coach, each director etc, so there are dozens of individual EBTs. Each EBT would be managed by Trustees.

Each of these EBTs is a seperate legal entity from the other EBTs and each EBT is a seperate entity from Rangers.

It is each of the EBTs that gave the loans to each of the respective players, etc. So the players would have to pay the loan back to the EBT, they don't pay back Rangers.

It would then be a further legal argument that each of the EBTs should pay back Rangers.

It is just too messy and impossible to try and get money back into Rangers this way.

On a side note, this is why the Big Tax case is taking so long to reach a decision. The 3 judges on the FTT have to look at each EBT that was set up and come to a seperate decision on each EBT. If for exapmle 50 Rangers employees benefited from EBTs then the 3 judges have to examine the evidence in 50 diferent cases and come to 50 seperate rulings.

Agree0 Disagree0

To Green Jhedi how many of your posts are actually about Celtic, are you sure you are not a blue jhedi as you only ever seem to post about rangers!

Getting fed up with these 'spokespeople' from the Rangers Popular Trust, The Popular Trust of Rangers and The Wee Arra Trust of Un-Popular People
They all have the same arrogance that they should recieve (and deserve) preferential treatment and it's no their fault - a big boy did it and ran away - Everyone is out to get them and EVERYONE needs Rangers to survive etc etc.
Not an ounce of humility or acceptance that they have done wrong and certainly no remorse or anger at the people who got their club into such a shambles financially - and morally.
The Rangers fans in my family are at least angry and embarrassed at the right people and are quite prepared to accept any fair sanctions in order to get this sorry mess addressed and rectified so their club can move on even if it is Div 3 and Lazarus Loyal.

JJ

Believable7 Unbelievable3

I seen some 'spokesman' for the rangers supporters trust on skysports news last night talking about rangers fans boycotting away games as they feel rangers are being 'blackmailed'..I have to say I have no idea what the justification for this is. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope they boycott paradise i would love an old firm game with 60000 hoops fans and no tax dodgers

Agree0 Disagree0

What are you going on about , rangers have breached all the SFA rules and are getting punished , they can't free fall to division 3 because of the SFL rules , your comments don't make sense , my workmates are feeling the shame of it all , they are also angry with the old/new board and all say they're being punished to save Spl !!

Agree0 Disagree0

The fans dont feel we should get special treatment, we just find it interesting that the spl are changing the rules while the clubs on the brink, opposed to prior to it. Personally i think the club should be hammered and we should pay oyr debts if we are found guilty. I dont see how the spl can deduct the liquidated club one third of there previous season points tally, as it is a newco with no history, therefore their previous points tally is zero lol

Agree0 Disagree0

How can a team not be relegated to division 3 Gretna and Livingston were both relegated to division 3. plus rangers newco would not be being relegated they would be starting as a new club and like any new club should start at the bottom of the ladder.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Apr 2012 12:32:26
if they liquidate and start in the 3rd obviously they would have no chance whatsoever of winning the spl so if they liquidate and stay in the spl then surely they should have no chance whatsoever of winning the spl for at least 3 years , so 10 points for 2 seasons is scandalous. they moan about losing 1.8 million tv money scandalous they would be debt free , celtic would still have £7m debt and to pay that back at 20% would cost us 1.4 million a year . for every point they lose over 2 sasons they lose 6.7 million of debt ,, what if we went into admin would we get the same punishment for £7m as they get for £134m . someone explain how any of this is fair . sfa, spl bendind over and dropping their drawers for rangers,, bb

Believable14 Unbelievable3

Meant to say if they liquidate and stay in spl it should be 25 point deduction for 3 years bb
