markybhoy {Ed007's Note - There has been rumours, Peter Lawwell was/is in Mexico though, unless that has something to do with it????}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I heard its from that poker site 888 wana buy the rights to the name wether its true or not i dnt know!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed if Lawell is in Mexico could it be to get de nigris? Would love it if we did get him. HH {Ed007's Note - His trip was 'officially' to strengthen the ties with Santos Laguna and to see the best way for both clubs to help each other.}

if the boy feruz is as good as we were led to believe why wasnt chelseas offer not bettered by celtic .sureley this is shooting ourseles in the foot pay up a little now get him on a contract and if his potential was being reached then sell for big money , is there a background story to this or is it just penny pinching again . {Ed007's Note - Celtic couldn't match what Chelsea were offering. He had no intention of signing professional for CFC, that was made clear about a year ago.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

All that celtic and tommy burns did for him its a kick in the teeth,,,, hope he flops big time

Agree0 Disagree0

Little scumbag after everything tb done for not only him but his family. Supposedly he was going off the rails and turning into a nightmare anyway. Actually hope he comes to nothing just for his disrespect hes shown tommy burns.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree mate. Tommy was one in a million and would break his back to make sure anyone was ok. I had an uncle who died of leukaemia in 1981, i never met him as i was born in 83, tommy went up to see him in yorkhill regularly. total gent

F*&K Feruz! he will end up in league 1 at a push and to be honest if he wants to forget what tommy done for him, then good riddance. I am confident he will flop and not get a game for megabucks chelsea

Agree0 Disagree0

He has always been a big head lazy in training , better off without him, liam miller mk2

Agree0 Disagree0

I was on celtics books many years ago, never made it. didnt get chance to experience that special roar from the crowd, that special feeling. played with clydebank and then stoke....feruz has shot his foot!

A think that we should give wanyama a chance on thursday, hasnt really been given a shot yet. Also bangura should start to give lennon a good look at him before sunday though a have a horrible feeling lennon will start samaras

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Think Wanyama will start in a 5 man midfield of Forrest, Ki, Wanyama, Kayal and Ledley.

There is the chance that Samaras could start up front himself.

Agree0 Disagree0

There is a good chance that we will field a strange team on Thursday as I'm sure that we see Sunday's game as being the more important one

Agree0 Disagree0

I think Lenny will go with Hooper up front,hope he doesn't play Sami on the left wing as he did against Sion away.

Jungle bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure how "strange" a team we can really field. Most of our first team players have played some part in the season so far and we have a bit of a problem in defence.

In midfield, Ki, Kayal, Ledley, Forrest and Commons and Wanyama have all played. Towell is on loan at Hibs, and I don't see him starting McCourt.

I reckon we'll go with one up front and Wanyama will start.

In defence I'm a little worried and we'll need to shuffle. Cha, Loovens and Wilson are injured, El Kaddouri is ineligible and Majstorovic is suspended. At the back it might even be:

Matthews Rogne Wilson Mulgrew

but I could even see Wanyama shifting back in place of Rogne with Brown or Kayal playing DM and Commons wide left.

Whatever happens I reckon we'll play Forrest wide right as I can see Brown being forced to play central as even Ledley might end up playing LB (thus we play Commons there).

Up front I say we chance it with Bangura and rest Hooper for at least 45 mins.

Of course all this assumes we play 4-5-1. 4-4-2 might be the better option considering it could be wise to rest midfielders for Sunday.

Agree0 Disagree0

Both Loovens and Wilson were on the bench against Motherwell on Saturday and there's been no indication that either is injured.
As for Thursday, Lennon has been desperate for European football so I cant see him playing an understrength team.
I do expect 5 in the middle of the park, but i only see Stokes dropping and either Wanyama or Brown, depending on his fitness, coming in.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forgot about el Kaddouri being inelligible. Figure Mark Wilson will probably play there on Thursday

Agree0 Disagree0

Forster

Wilson Loovens Wilson Mulgrew Ledley
Brown Kayal Ki
Hooper Bangura

I Think we need to keep 2 up top, With Mark Wilson & Joe Ledley Supporting the Midfield with Ki and Brown getting around the 2 boys up top. Mon The Hoops

evenin ed in the times today that say that samaras might be playin a lone striker role com on haf you heard anyfin i fink we should go way hooper and bangura insted of playin 451 aw the time we struggle with that formation either way we will struggle but at least we gave it ago with a 442 anybody agree {Ed007's Note - It is always a possibility, though I doubt NL has thought too much about players/formation for Sunday when we have a game on Thursday night, where injuries can be picked up. He will have an idea what he wants to do, but anything can happen.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Y does everybody say who plays with hooper? he hasnt kicked a ball this season looks overweight a yard off the pace and stokes has done nothing wrong. If stokes has ever deserved a chance its now. Hooper has been on the same diet as commons this summer

I don't know what anyone else thinks,but I feel the Europa league is going to be a major distraction from the league. I do agree that Sion deserved to be thrown out but I don't think we have got the players who will cope playing Thursday/Sunday. I do,however, hope that the bhoys prove me wrong.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Time will tell. The way I see it is we have nothing to lose everyone in the media has written us off and expect us to finish bottom of the group. We have a big enough squad to cope Its more a question of how we utilise the players we have. The league has to be the priority so I would expect our team lineup in europe to change based on the league game to follow.HH

Hey Ed, well done with the Big Jock article absolutely fabulous bud. Well written and a great piece of work, keep it coming bud.

I;ve a strong feeling your a tim yourself??

Hail Hail

ChrisBhoy67 {Ed007's Note - Thanks very much Chris. So you think I'm a Tim? What ever gave you that idea? ;-) LMAO

Believable1 Unbelievable0

But you do the rangers page too, dont you?
They'll give you dogs abuse bud. But he F%%k them eh!!

Hail Hail CB67 {Ed007's Note - No mate, I'm not allowed to edit the Rangers site. It is the only one I don't have access to. I do mostly this and the Man Utd one but cover all of them to keep them moving, except Rangers. I am 100% Tim Chris HH}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed007, how come you can say "tim" but when I use it I get pelters from the bears, TIMalloy {Ed007's Note - 'Tim' isn't classed as sectarian, I wouldn't even say it is offensive, we use it ourselves.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha Class Big Man, good to know your on board with us, I thought you had an amazing amount of knowledge on the tims for you not to be one yourself!! Class site and log on daily bud to see whats going on. Funny thing happened today logged on at my new job didn't notice that my new boss was behind me, I was waiting for a kicking but to my surprise he's a big Tim and you now have a new follower!!
LOL glad he was'nt a bluenose ;@ {Ed007's Note - Good stuff.}

What about the the team for thur with el kaddouri out wouldnt mind seeing wanyama go into centre back thats the only change id like to see...no sameras please

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Forster
Wilson Loovens Wilson Mulgrew
Forrest Brown Kayal Ki Ledley
Hooper

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't understand why Lenny doesn't play Mark Wilson at left back, he's done well there previously.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whatever you say about Sammy he is the only forward that can play upfront alone,albeit he is aweful,but he is the only one that can do it! We've tried Stokes(remember Hamilton anyone?) Failed. Hooper-has failed on many occasions,but case Sammy has done it once I guess he'll get the shout.

Agree0 Disagree0

Mark Wilson played there against Sion at Parkhead and was less than impressive... although he did take a sore one early doors so that may have hampered him.

If Vince Clark wins royalties from Celtic the floodgates will open ..... The Proclaimers will want money from Hibs , The Skids money from Dunfermline and Tina Turner money from Rangers , won't worry Rangers much though ..... they don't pay any c*nt . {Ed007's Note - I can't see anything coming out of it. If he needs the money he should do a duet with the Thai Tims, both of them would make a fortune.}

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Dont you buy the sun? if u do then you would see it!!!dont no if its true but its there. {Ed007's Note - What?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Bowler hats, umbellas and brief case at the ready.

Agree0 Disagree0

That would be brilliant if true, though I've heard that many are not taking the option on tickets as it's just helping the unclean stay in business, good idea if you ask me!

Also here's some suggestions for some songs to play when they come to our place (if they're still in business that is.. ;o) ).

Promised you a Miracle - Simple Minds
Give Me Your Money Too - Gramophonedzie
Hand in Pocket - Alanis Morissette
Sell Your Soul - Hollywood Undead
Liar - Mumford & Sons
Taxman - The Beatles
Money's too tight to mention - Simply Red
Thieves, Thieves, Tramps & Thieves - Cher
Daddy was a Bank Robber - The Clash
Born Bad - Julliet Lewis
Children of the Damned - Iron Maiden
Beat It - Michael Jackson

Hey ed. Whats your feeling for the next 2 games? I think Lenny should play the exact same team as saturday because if they play as well as they did they could sneak a point in madrid and pump rangers, with or without jelavic. Hail Hail
Kevbhoy {Ed007's Note - If it isn't broke Kev, don't try to fix it mate. I agree, except El Kaddouri is ineligible for Thursday night.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Thats a gutter, he was excellent. Wait years for a decent left back and 2 come along at once lol
Kevbhoy {Ed007's Note - El Kaddouri was actually NLs first choice LB before Izaguirre but the price quoted at the time halted any move.}

Ed..i've also read your wee piece, lovely and you have done the big guy proud !Some folk ask what my fave Celtic related song is and at the moment I enjoy Simple Minds singing Dirty Old Town with Jimmy Johnstone. Should be played more at Celtic Park. (I've only heard it once this season and that was the Wolves friendly) {Ed007's Note - Thanks. Yeah DOT should be played more often.}

feruz has finally moved to chelski

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Who cares at this level Celtic have signed several supposed woder kids over the year none of which have come to much. Loosing one is no biggeer deal than buying Dylan McGeoch. good luck to the boy and I hope we get a bit of cash from Chelski

David {Ed007's Note - We will only receive the standard training compensation, don't expect a windfall David.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes ed but it will still be more then what we got for some of the the other wonder kids that turned out to be crap. Motti for example
