Our players i.e. Brown,Mulgrew and Commons were sadly missed in the Scottish line up. Thank God they did not play as we have to have them fit for the CL. It is obvious that if and I say if Levein is still in the job he has to sort out the Stephen Fletcher dilemma pronto.

I honestly don't think they would have made a difference. The players just don't to show as much desire as they whilst playing for their clubs. There doesn't seem to be any fight in the Scotland squad whatsoever.

Hi Ed - How close where we to appointing Where's Wolly (Craig Levien) as our manager, I'm sure his name was in the frame a few years ago....my my did we get out of jail there. Scotland are a bad lot, I just can't get excited about the Scottish national team. I'm not one of thes guys who support Ireland either. No passion for Scotland. They will prob give Andy Murray the Scotland job....seem to be giving him everything else. Ian L {Ed007's Note - It was just silly paper talk in 2010 before NL got it full-time. Just read on sly that Celtic were given £450,000 for lustig and sammaras playing in the euros no bad money for nothing cheers sammy and lustig

Was just writing an abusive message about miller then he goes n scores, but in fairness I don't think he should be getting picked anymore he isn't the player he used to be, he has served Scotland well but I think time is up n time to get the young blood experience.
I know ppl will disagree and agree but just my opinion.

He didn't score in the proper sense, he kicked a lovely weighted pass into an open goal. There's not a player in the whole of Scotland (including division 3) who could have missed it. But more to the point, why the hell are we playing an over the hill player who plays club football in Canada over players who are at the top of their game? Fletcher may have turned his back, but our own Tony Watt would have contributed massively in the position of CF tonight. Levein is a clueless manager who doesn't understand that youth is the way forward. Gary Caldwell is another chump who should hang his international boots up. Couple that with playing Hutton, who can't even get a game for Villa, he's mince! Even young James looked a bit lost, but I think that was more to do with the "seasoned pros" he was playing alongside tonight. Strachan needs a chance at the job as Levein is not a National team manager.

I find it funny how you slate every player but find an excuse for your own. Forrest was just as bad as anyone, the whole team were pants tonight. However, with all that said I do agree with your call for Strachan to be manager, Scotland need someone with fight and spirit, and wee Gordon sure does provide that.

Skinnybhoy, I got my picture taken holding the big one a few years ago at a corporate do. I don't know if it's changed for all trophies but I also went for a dinner for my 50th 3 and a bit years ago and they brought the Championship trophy up but we weren't allowed to touch it. Only got pictures standing next to it. So, for me, if you can get your hands on it get the big one, it's awesome!! If you can't touch any of them now, either would do. Enjoy your day.

I wasn't allowed to touch the European cup. It was a charity do in the kerrydale suite and they brought the trophy out and sat in on a table and you had to stand behind the table. I was tempted to grab it and do a Billy McNeill pose above my head but I bottled it. Lol.

Just found out me buddy got a ticket for Celtic vs Barca for me and I can't wait to go over and take part of what will be the best atmosphere probably in all of the champions league, unless we get into the finals lol. Get to watch both shows, the game and the green brigade just hope we get healthy cause I think we could get 2nd. It will be great to be back at paradise! C-Bhoy
I don't think it will be the best atmosphere in the champions league. I'm pretty sure the Germans will be making a lot of noise also.
