Callum Paterson from Hearts to Celtic.
As much as it pains me to hear this (I'd rather he went anywhere but Celtic) , I'm led to believe this from a close friend of his agent that Celtic have been watching his development closely, and Brendan Rogers is apparently keen on him as he is so versatile. Right back that can play anywhere down the right, and even up front.
If it's true, let's hope Hearts don't get done over by Celtic, and we get good money for him. He is a very good player, and already capped for Scotland.

As much as it pains me a fellow Scottish Football supporter who would prefer his club's best player to sign for Hibs rather than Celtic, I couldn't care less from where we signed a player from as long as he was good enough .
I can assure Celtic will agree a price with Hearts for Patterson if we want to sign him .
U must be mistaking Celtic for the team from Govan who died and various businesses and the Queen got done over by them.

I think he'd be a great signing, was one of the players who caught my eye last season with his performances. If it's true, I'll be very happy.

Did he play for Hearts against Liverpool when BR was in charge? Could be something in it if he was impressed and kept an eye out since then.

Always gives his best for hearts and never shys away from attacking and defensive duties, wouldn't mind him tbh hope we can get him in 👍🏻.

The only reason I said "anyone but Celtic" was because Hearts are headed in the right direction finally, and to sell our best player to our biggest competitor hurts the fans and the club. Maybe I should have said anyone but Celtic and Aberdeen. P. s I also hate that team from Govan :)

Kevbhoy, he played both home and away legs against Liverpool, and did very well considering it was his first season with the first team, and he was so young.

I hate to say it, but if he does end up with Celtic, you will have pinched a player with all the attributes you have said.
I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I have read that he has refused a new contract with Hearts as well : (
Just make sure if he ends up at Celtic, that Hearts have a good sell on clause!

Jambi Jim Sorry but Celtic are not and won't be your main competitors for many, season Hearts belong to a wee clump of clubs below Celtic in the league but not close enough to be regarded as main competitors . If we do sign him and I very much doubt it we won't pinch him from u .

Hes been playing 3rd tier in spain to get back to fitness, was in glasgow this afternoon for talks, my cousin is good mates with the celtic massous and told me terms been agreed will sign 2year deal if sucessful medical tomorrow.

He was going to retire due to his injuries before he joined that amateur team. If he has regained fitness and could pass our medical then I'd take a punt and offer a 1year deal. I don't see us spending on another striker so we could do with cover.

If, and it's a BIG IF, like rglen says our doctors/ physios are happy then it might be a good shout. You'd have to have major concerns about him getting back to the level he was at still though.

It would b a free transfer and if passin medical i believe be 1year with a year option if succesful, good player if can show same form as at swansae, also been told will be making a 3rd bid for sinclair believed around 3mill, also rogers keen on westwood from villa.

This for real Marco? Was a good player at Swansea but kind of dissappeared after being loaned to Napoli! Last I heard he was in Spain playing for his brothers lower league team! Not saying it's not genuine mate but seems unlikely to me.

Well we'll have to wait and see I suppose mate! Could be a good call if they could get him anywhere near the player he was! Still have my doubts but u can come on and say u were right if it happens mate! Lol. must say but that dembele aside, the calibre of players we're being linked with don't exactly fill me with excitement! Was expecting a bit of money to be spent on a couple of quality additions!

30 two half decent seasons in his career . playing amatuer . injury problems . this is the type of signing this new era was meant to be avoiding . this is bargain basement signing at its worst . we've just got rid of 4 duds so why bring in another.

I'm seriously fed with Celtic already there's more players leaving than arriving, what's going to happen when we get to the next stage of qualifiers when all the tougher teams are in the draw with us does everyone think this squad are good enough I'm beginning to think the money isn't there and Rodgers appointment just publicity stunt for season tickets.

Colin54 there were always going to be more player leaving than coming.
The manager said several times that he wants to trim the squad which is seriously bloated. Especially in midfield.
All the players that have left most would agree were of no use to the club.

We have note kicked a ball in anger yet, i also believe we have enough in the squad to get by the first euro round and depending who comes out the hat next, we may have enough good players to get through that one too.

Am pretty sure the back room staff are doing all they can to bring in faces, patience is what's needed at the moment.

He's a good GK thought he should have played for Wales instead of Hennesy who I don't rateat all! Ward did play one game in the groups mind. Would be happy if we could pull this off.

He's just signed a new contract at liverpool and is going to Huddersfield on loan for the season.
