If Stipe pletikosa is fit and passes coaching tests this week he wiil receive a 2 year deal , this deal could go through for the 32 year old who has over 80 caps for croatia ASWEDE

This will give Lennon more funds towards players , A recomendation was passed on to the club from none other than van der sar....

Is pletikosa not sill contracted to Spartak, so he would cost something.

When did Van der sar become a scout for Celtic and how dus he even know Pletikosa.

Van der sar is a friend from his juventus days of Mirko jozic who has been trying to get pletikosa a move in the uk. This is why van der sar has been giving advice through certain agents mckay etc.

No we take over his contract, moskow just want him off thier books without a fee.

Where did u hear this? gordon would be a good signing

He's 3rd choice now at sunderland so why would he want to stay there

neither almunia or ireland will be signing for celts almunia in talks with ath madrid (de gea's replacement) ireland has said he wants to stay at villa

ed mate just heard from a good source we have offered 3 .6 million for gordon and offered him 36 000 a week he is said to be very keen and could sign as early as wednesday, ian turner formly of everton as also being chased by hoops as a possible sqaud player with cervic heading out on loan again this season

Total crap, we will not pay 36 grand a week wages for a keeper on top of the transfer fee and dominic cervi has never been out on loan as of yet

Cervi went out to dundee before they went into admin last year

Agree. Think Gordon would be a quality signing but realistically, wages would be on a par with Brown and Maloney, around 20K p/w with bonuses. 3.6M for a keeper who could potentially be between the sticks for the next 5-10 years providing he stays free of injury seems like a bargain to me.

And Cervi was on loan at dundee earlier in the year, dont think he played much though.

Listen we wont get gordon for any less in wages have a day aff players of his caliber are priceless

I'm friends with Ian Turner, I went to school with him both primary and high(Kippen/Balfron) He said he will never sign for either of the old firm, pretty sure he is signing for Preston, he has brought his family up in England and wants to stay down south

Anyway, he's been in the pro ranks for almost a decade and has under 100 appearances to show for it. Happy to pick up a wage then get loaned out for a few months at a time.

just saw on sky sports news lennons interested in signing craig gordon. would be pretty good signing i think

The 2nd best team in scotland are trying to sign the 2nd best scottish keeper. match made in heaven (thats if he permanetly injured craig gordon passes a medical)

Only reason mcgregor is scotlands no1 is because gordon is injured. if he wasnt he would be one of the top 5 keepers in the epl

No, makes a horrendous amount of mistakes, and isn't even that impressive when he isn't making mistakes. Mind you not totally confident in zaluska or forster if he comes back.

Hell no he is less than useless An accident waiting to happen do not want him

Neil Lennon has stated he has enquired about Craig Gordon. I think it would be a great signing but i heard there is also a few EPL teams looking including Arsenal. Sourse SSN

As plenty of people have already said on here Gordon has a poor health record. Also if Sunderland are prepared to let him go it tells you something.

Steip petikosa, i know spelling sucks here but i believe you will know who i mean, he is coming for trial with celtic next week, in bbc sunday scottish gossip and sunday papers. Would imagine a keeper with his history it would be more to get a feel of the place with a good chance of getting it wrapped up there and then.

Nope out of our price range at 4million plus big wages.

He didnt state he had enquired, just that he would be interested at the right price, but that it would be most likely out of our range.

So he stated he would be interested at the right price but it would most probably be out our range. I would imagine he would have to make an enquiry as to what that price would be. Hence the statement of having made an enquiry or do you think he is just going to guess?

I dont think anyone doubts his ability its because he has been injured and they have signed Westwood they are selling him. Lets be honest he is better than any keeper at the Emirates just now.
