I hate international football they should ban it

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Totally agree. i have no interest at all in the nternationals , i do like to see scotland and ROI win but i would not lose any sleep if they dont. i just hope all celts return injury free

Agree2 Disagree0

I have mentioned on here why I stopped going to watch Scotland many years ago, however apart from internal politics and hidden agenda's it is a very, very rare sight to actually see a Scotland team play the kind of football we love to watch.

I can't believe all the BS on here. with fans having a go at our summer signings. These guys haven't even kicked a ball & there getting so much grief from so called Celtic fans, saying there not quality. Unless they watched the majority of;
Deportivo de La Coruņa (Lassad),
FC Getafe (Miku),
Ashdod (Ambrose),
then how can they make judgements. The days of marquee signings are over, at least till the threat of some competition in the league. With the demise of our Glasgow neighbours, we won't waste money on big earners as we will dominate the league in the foreseeable future. However it does seem our scouting system & NL can spot a player. Who's to say these new bhoys won't be gems. Give them a chance, there here for the moment & deserve 100% support from us fans.

We might dominate the league, but if you want to sell tickets you need to put on a show! Would you go to the pictues just for the sake of it even if nothing on you wanted to see. If people are expected to spend their hard earned, they should be entertained. Celtic are in danger of taking fans for granted (again). If you don`t put a product on the park that people want to see, then don`t be suprised if the crowd dwindles, and without being too critical, this will happen. People will spend a bit more for something special, no-one goes out of their way for the ordinary. Just human nature.

True JGG, i'm excited about our signings. Did anyone believe Balde was up to much when he came? Did anyone expect Larrson to become the "king" after his horrendous backpass for chick charnley to score? What did you all think when Lubo was brought in?

These players are no mugs, having played for Deportivo, Getafe etc

Plus, we have Twardzik, Watt, Slane, Irvine who ran away with the under19 league and cup last year. That squad also beat Man Citys u19 team home and away.

I hope that Celtic Park is full every game this season, and me personally i will be taking my partner and kids to games. I haven't been able to in recent years as every time we dropped 2 points or lost a goal sections of the crowd would get on Lenny's back. Whereas this season the pressure is off. We can nurture some of our talented players and if we drop a few points at home to Hibs then so be it. If they players learn from the mistakes they will become better players, and will be worth more on the playing field and as assets if we should sell them.

We have a quality squad of players that want to play for Celtic, i don't believe any of the players are there for the money. Wanyama, Ledley, Brown etc could have moved to other clubs and earned more, but chose Cletic. Time we repaid the players, lets fill the ground every week and show Hugh Keevins and co that armaggeddon won't be allowed to happen in Scotland.

Tim and proud!

No idea why forrest wasn't on from the start yesterday, levein must go! He has Rangers ways, Like the last few managers, strachan for Scotland, Owen coyle could do the job as well. Dale1888

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Strachan yes, Coyle no. He does not even come across as a leader. Sitting on the bench with his shorts and boots on, yelling at the team through cupped hands like a supporter - whit a plonker. The Bolton fans would be glad to see the back of him. Penny has not dropped yet that all those successful managers in the EPL look like they are in charge not like one of the lads.

Scotland top caps:-

Kenny Dalglish - 102 (Celtic & Liverpool)
Jim Leighton - 91 (Aberdeen)
Alex McLeish - 77 (Aberdeen)
Paul McStay - 76 (Celtic)
Tom Boyd - 72 (Chelsea & Celtic)

If Scotland were 'successful' it would be a different story.

Typical old firm glory hunting fans!!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Sfa are just butthurt over rangers still, Naismith over Forrest, Naismith is a dirty org by nature, which was proven yesterday. Hail hail dale1888

Forget the politics, it's about the nation the scottish guys on the pitch! by supporting the national team it isn't a vote of support for the SFA but the guys who pull in the dark blue and play for the pride of a nation!

Dannybhoy

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Dannybhoy i have nothing against the S,F.A.
I just don't think you should go where your not wanted,Jimmy Johnstone,Stevie Chalmers,Davie Hay. That's why I don't go and watch Scotland and I don't watch Ireland either.

Agree3 Disagree1

Oh dear. Just because they were in a team which dominated football, broke the Italians hearts in Lisbon, demolished the Scottish league, terorised European clubs...etc. Does that mean they were good enough for Scotland? I mean, ok, Johnstone could turn teams inside out then go back to make sure it was not just luck, Di Stefano called him a pure footballer, Alf Ramsey wished he had an English granny AND maybe Chalmers could knock in the odd goal or 20 and sure, Hay was a no bad midfielder who dominated games, scored vital goals and generally run the game but HONESTLY. Dont you think the expert managers we had would have left them out if they were good enough to play for Scotland? (Big Jock excluded of course). Nah, the problem was they were only brilliant in little flashes. Does being unbeatable 99% of the season make you consistent? See, the Sotland managers knew a thing or two! Right, need to go now the 2 gentlemen in white coats have just told me its time for my medication!

Of course, you cant mention football in a foreign country without the name of john grieg coming up. he should have had a 100 caps. their here for me too.
