So Sinclair is only player of the year because it's an inferior league and should leave? Naw he shouldnae! Larson didn't and after we had the best 7 years of his career he went to arguably one of the biggest teams in the world. There he turned a Champions League final around for them as a sub and was referred to after the game by Henry in his statement 'let's talk about the best player on the park'. Then after his 2 years with one of the worlds biggest clubs and a Champions League medal under his belt England's richest club took him in the twilight of his career as they would have done 10 years earlier but he loved being at Celtic. After that they wanted him to re-sign but he'd made a promise to his home town team which he honoured. So much for Englands richest club and the EPL eh? . desperate to take Henrik after he'd spent so much of his career in an inferior league and showed no ambition! Stay with Celtic Scotty Sinclair where as has been said you're loved and respected by the Celtic family. Might even be an idea to phone our Henrik and ask him which of the great clubs he played for left their crest emblazoned on his heart. As for the EPL. it's day will come. but we remember our legends. ☘️.

Apparently according to some, if Scott Sinclair had any ambition he would leave Celtic to play in the greatest league in the world. Ambition is the reason he should stay as SS knows he won't get a move to top 4 and if he did his game time might be limited.

He's 28 and effectively run out of time to go to a mid table team and impress for a bigger move as he'll be closer to 30 by time that plan came to fruition. He's at a club where he is welcomed, respected and adored.

A club that has bags full of ambition and the prospect of champions league football. Why would he leave that for the likes of mid table epl fodder where the only thing you can realistically win is 3 points on a Saturday. Can't put a 1-0 win against Burnley on the mantlepiece.

He earned his move to City with some fine performances, and was within his right to take that opportunity. It was obviously a step too far for him but hindsight is a fine thing and City could easily be blamed for stalling his career. Miserable spells (basically playing as a full back) at West Brom and Villa followed. He's said how happy he is here and despite an inferior league there are clearly benefits and pleasures Celtic can give a man that your West Broms et al can't.

I agree completely!
If anyone does well in Scotland - having hard a hard time in England - according to the gurus in the south, it proves how much better their league is. The same applies when someone does the same thing the other way around. They throw this at us all the time and is boring in the extreme.
Sinclair was too good for Villa but they never utilised him properly - that's the difference. He is saying that he is happy in Scotland and wants to stay at Celtic. I think it's the right thing for him to do as he can shine in Europe as well as domestically, as you say, he is adored up here (by human beings. ) and I'll be delighted if he stays for the rest of his career.

All this rubbish about them being better than us is complete and utter tosh guys.
Do not believe the hype, our record against English opposition in Europe is actually very good, after all how else do we compare apart from games against each other.
Its all very well they going further in Europe year after year but they have the odds stacked in their favour.

We do not get the benefit of being top seeds like they do.
Look at Leicester got to last 8 of CL but got an easier group due to being seeded and they never been in the CL.

We would progress further if we were top seeds every year and the money it brings, as I said we can ONLY compare matches and best to my knowledge Celtic and Rangers have a better record than them last 25 years or so.
God we only beat 2 of them on the way to Seville lol.

I am in Limbo, I was in hospital about 6- 8 weeks ago for tests including brain scan, but apart from confirming it was approximately in right area, I haven't heard anything since .
Maybe the good weather or maybe the ease Celtic have swatted away other teams, I feel fine .

{Ed007's Note - What happened during the scan to make you go deaf? ;)
