Mohamed Bangura,Morten Rasmussen,Daryl Murphy,Efraín Juárez these are the players celtic have bought for big money and dont get a game or have been loaned out most of there contracts will run out and they will go for free whats the point y not bring most of them back and give them a chance, or loan them to spl teams to see how they perform in the spl it makes more sence to me , y is josh tompson out on loan when hes not started a game in 6 months ? also u look at the players coming from other teams youth systems down south and celtic can only produce 1 player every couple of years surely we must have a young up and coming striker that should be given a chance would love to see some one come through the ranks than have some one called daly at 28 or pay big money for someone to be loaned out??

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Please god not d murphy. He's a total coo. Keep him as far away from Celtic as pos, 1 million well squandered there. We knew he was pi5h yet still bought him, who the heck scouted him?

someone has edited wiki sayin Boyd signed for Celtic today on a 2 year deal. What you heard ed?? {Ed007's Note - Yeah I heard someone had edited Wikipedia as well.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lol, if you scroll further down, this is what you'll see:

Celtic:
On the 9th January 2012 Kris Boyd signed for Rangers Old Firm Rivals Celtic on a two year deal. He will wear the famous number 7 jersey previously worn by Jimmy Johnstone and Henrick Larsson.

Ah smell shyte!

Agree3 Disagree1

He's not fit to wear a training top nevermind the famous number 7 jersey!

Is it wrong to revel in Rangers' predicament? With each passing day I can't help but feel this overwhelming sense of "get it up yees!" (aka justice). I cast my mind back to our troubles nearly 20 years ago when the roles were reversed. Where was the compassion? Where was the sympathy? Non-existent!

Then I think about the tenner for every fiver quote from Lord Lucan and all the other bulls**t that eminated from that place, the pelters the wee guy in the bunnet took, the unassuming wee guy that was ridiculed from pillar to post. Transpired he was a savvy, reputable, smart and articulate businessman! Anyway, I digress.

I can empathise with Rankers fans (some of which are my friends), however I'm loving this and all this garbage that Celtic are nothing without them is irrelevant.

Rangers will continue to exist, of that there is no doubt, so I feel no guilt in laughing heartily at their demise. I look forward to years of domination!

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Miko you heartless fiend you lol. All the years off mocking us and you can't just turn the other cheek and feel a bit of sympathy for our wounded neighbours?

I can half see the argument of no Rangers, no SPL, it will no doubt lessen the selling point to Sky for example, but I'd take 10-in-a-row just for the craic and then maybe do a "Harlem Globetrotters" cos where will the challenge come from realistically? I'd love every year til we broke OUR old record but then I honestly think I'd get a little dull, but we should defo give it a go for a few years just to make sure.

Still think CB calling you a bear will be the funniest thing I see on here this year. Bear baiter more like. Hope you're well pal.

Shaunybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally don't care what happens to them, whether they lose there tax case and go to the wall or win the case. I personally see our mighty club dominating for years to come! We have the club of youngsters (Matthews, Izzy, Rogne, Kayal, Wanyama, Forrest, Hooper and Stokes) all under 24 yr old. Whilst they have a team of "veterans" (Weir, Goian, Bocanegra, McCulloch, Healy) all over 30!

IF we can keep a hold of our youngsters we will win the title year after year. And even if we do sell one or two, i've got confidence in our scouts to go out and unearth more young gems!

The future is bright, the future is green and white!

DazzaBhoy

ps i agree Shaun, calling CB a currant bun was hilarious!

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm good Shaunyboy, hope you and your family had a nice Xmas & New Year! (that goes for you too Daz).

I was reading some of the comments on the dark side and they seem to have a go at us Celts supporters quite often regarding this. They're only getting back what they gave to us and I, for one, am absolutely delighted about it!

I understand your point of view Dazza, we shouldn't really care about what happens with them, but the early nineties were painful times for us, times I wouldn't want to be replicated at CP. That's why it rips ma knittin when folk have a go at Lawell and the board, the club is financially stable and we're in a good place in that regard. The future is defo green & white!

Lol, CB thinking I was a bluenose was funny, the poor guy couldn't apologise enough, haha. He's a good sort though!

Unlike one of our fellow Jim's who had the urge to slate my intentions, commitment and loyalty to Celtic over on the dark side along with all the other bluenoses. Put him in his place though, you know who you are, he frequents our site and each time he does it makes me want to boak!

We had a great xmas and new year in my house Miko, kids got way too much tho!

I know what your saying, would love to see them lose there name, titles and stadium. But 'like ma murphy's am not bitter' bout what the media and scotland in general said about Celtic and Wee Bunnet!

I know we will be stronger in the years ahead, we will not be moved.........f*** them.

Ed what has happen to the rumours page? It's back to the way it was about a year ago. The OP then all the replys. Did youse not change it to clean it up lol?

A football question to you Ed and anyone that wants to answer it.
Who would you have picked to win the FIFA Ballon d'Or prise? My pick would have been Cristiano Ronaldo. That might shock you but games played goals scored and all round play if it was a choice out of Ronaldo or Messi my pick would be Ronaldo. If I had a choice out of Xavi or Iniesta without a doubt Iniesta. The biggest shock of this is Rooney making the team of the year. I thought Jelavic would have been in the 3 man attack.
FF81 {Ed007's Note - I'm not sure what has happened. The geek squad are tweaking about with the sites to cope with the traffic mate, it might be that, it should be back to normal soon (I think). No shock to me FF81, Ronaldo all the way for me, as you say he is a better all round player than Messi, but let's not forget about UEFA's current ongoing love-in with Barca. Ronaldo could play in any team in the world, I'm not sure Messi could unless they played a similar style to Barca.}

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Totally agree with you Ed. UEFA are right up Barcas bums lol. Ronaldo's goal to game ratio is awesome. Especially when you consider he's not a goal poacher. Don't get me wrong when Messi is on top of his game he is great to watch but Ronaldo can track back and do the dirty work aswell that's what makes him the better player.
Come on Ed mate it was only 9 points wasn't it ;-). Lol
FF81 {Ed007's Note - Google it, or I will e-mail you a copy of it every hour on the hour if you like :-)

Agree1 Disagree2

Ronaldo & Messi are the two best players in the world at the moment. I love watching both players, however I would disagree, Messi has the ball glued to his feet at times and I love watching dribblers. He's the closest to Maradonna I've seen, and Maradonna was and is still unsurpassed, IMO. Could Messi lead his country to 2 successive World Cup Finals, winning one of them, single handedly?

You guys are right about Messi though, he's suited to the Barca style of play. In terms of Xavi and Iniesta, it's hard to call. What I will say is that watching the way the two of them play is just telepathy in motion! The way they pass, move and interlink just mesmerises midfield opponents, they make it look effortless - and it is for them!

Barca are the best team in the world and they have the best players in the world, that's why they dominate all the personal accolades/awards!

What is the gers ed all about?names dont hurt, but why does he allow gers fans to post, referring to us as soapdodgers,or unwashed?this isnt banter.this is just people with a very low i.q,trying to get attention,but i think for their ed to allow drivel like this is shocking.already complained twice to him in last few weeks for letting people refer to celtic park as tattieland.eds like that should be themselves ashamed and removed. {Ed007's Note - I'm sure that 'tattieland' being posted would have been a mistake and could have been one of the English Eds not twigging. As for being called 'soapdodgers', I've been called a lot worse, does it REALLY bother you that much?? Laugh it off ffs. You have a bad first day back at work?}

Wish the tax man would get his finger out and close that pantomime down.total embarassment to scottish football,and all those bears in denial,lol.at least we had the bottle to demonstrate against our dictators when we had to.then,how they ridiculed wee fergus.well,i bet they wouldnt mind a bonnet figure at ibrox now.i am absolutely sick to the back teeth hearing about their money woes.just shut them down.contrary to what they think.we do not need them for us to thrive.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Due process has to take it's course

Agree0 Disagree0

For all the demonstrating that the Celtic fans done it wasn't them that saved the club was it? I know Fergus McCann done what he said he would but they are one man you all forget and he was the main man. If it wasn't for Brian Dempsey Celtic would have went to the wall not youse ( the fans ) not Fergus McCann but Brian Dempsey. So what was it you said you have bottle? You've got that much bottle you don't leave a name lmao. Anything else nameless poster wants to know about your club just ask FF81 lol.

Matt mcglone i think was a bit involved? a few faces i mind but not so many names, at least fergus was up front with his 5 year plan - shame the 5th year was him planning his sale of shares thought he could a pushed on that year but his plan worked brian dempsey had his day in the sun and the wee man let him go what i mind? the demos served their course done job required - celts for change served us well i mind being at demo in airdrie town hall, yeah even in airdrie we went to support it, not so happy days but they stood up to be counted all these folks, shame for rangers alistair johnston and paul murray never - well they tried but the deal was down by sir moonbeams murray to sell for a quid to this chancer whyte who will milk all he can by the looks from here, maybe i'm wrong on this but it looks bleak for the govan guys tax case made sure nobody wanted the task of taking rangers in 2012, where is the 15 million that could be brought forward from years 2-4(5million/season) again fergus spelled out his plan detailed to moving back to a half built stadium saying tell me you will sit here and i will sort out rebuilding stadium spend on players and get you a trophy,he knew he needed the same fans who went to demos etc to fill seats pay cash in turn giving him his profit after his 5 years was up, so i tend to disagree that anybody other than Fergus mcann turned things round at celtic, by the way i'm nothing to do with original post, just feel strongly about hard times we went through off the field -kellys etc ill advised and out their depth running a club of that size

davybhoy ktf {Ed007's Note - Matt is a friend. Brian Dempsey put up the initial money to stave off the bank until Fergus could get into the country to conclude the deal.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Nobody said the fans saved the club but they played ther part with the Celts for Change movement.Brian Dempsey was also a fan albeit a high profile one but he didn't save the club (god I'm sure it was him who recommended Scheidt) . Wee Fergus saved our club , built a stadium to be proud of and put us on the right road again God bless the Bunnet........DH

Hi ed how ru? I was reading about A.V.B from Chelsea what he said about Fat Ally. Well I nearly fell off me seat laughing that hard. He said he was very impressed with the way Ally Mc Coist has taken charge of rangers. Am like he's been knock out of 3 cups and let a 15 points drop to be 2 behind lol how is that impressive??. Bigirishmac {Ed007's Note - He can't really burst out laughing can he BIM?}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Lolol we be tv gold tho if he did lolol

Lenny

Agree1 Disagree0

BIM Lennon isn't much better is he? Nocked out of 2 cups and let Rangers open up a 9 point gap. You've got to remember the 15 points was only going to be 15 points if Celtic lost the 2 games in hand. So it was only really 9 points. A V B is only backing his mate up. Ally's doing alright considering. I'm happy the way it going.
In Ally We Trust
FF81 {Ed007's Note - The point's difference was still sitting at 15 points FF81. It's there in black and white and it's points in the bag that count. If we hadn't yet played the games in hand and were 4 points behind you would you say CFC were really top of the league? Didn't think so....}

Agree0 Disagree0

I know where your coming from Ed but when your games in hand is against Aberdeen and Dunfermline you must see where I'm coming from lol.
FF81 {Ed007's Note - I know mate, but it was still sitting at 15 points no matter how you try to dress it up. What would you have said if we had said no it isn't it's only 9? :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

I would feel a lot better if you just said it was 9 points mate lol.
FF81 {Ed007's Note - ;-)

"As a company incorporated in the UK, Rangers FC is required to file audited statutory accounts within six months of its year end, June 30, 2011.

"Rangers FC has failed to do so and is in breach of Rule 51 of the Plus rules for issuers.

"The Plus Stock Exchange is also currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances under which Craig Whyte's seven year disqualification from acting as a director in 2000 were not disclosed at the time of his appointment to the board of Rangers FC on May 6, 2011."

Believable1 Unbelievable0

You do know that whyte did state before that these audits wouldnt be submitted til after the tax case ..... duh !

Agree0 Disagree0

It is not upto Whyte to say when he will and won't submitt accounts. Audited accounts have to be submitted withing the 6 months as required by companies house and the stock exchange.

Yet again Celtic have been freeing away from home in the cup again . I don't know the last time we had a home game in the cup, I think it was against livingston.

Yet again there is a good chance we have to travel all the way to the top of Scotland to play inverness

Well come on the dunfermline

I know MON always left it late in these infernal transfer windows to make his move and to a certain extent WGS did the same although pre-contract signings were popular too. It seems to me that we now have to give potential signing targets a weeks trial or 'have a look at for a few days' and then more often than not we are no further forward?
Why can't we simply identify our targets, sound them out and get the deal done quickly and efficiently? It woild make us look much more professional and send out a strong, positive message to our supporters and our rivals.

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Why sign a player for x amount of millions when you can have a look at them first?
Not as easy as identifying a target and buying them, if it was , tell Lenny to go get Messi.

To all having a go at mccourt,the whole team were crap first half hour, untill paddys pass to samaras that pass alone proves hes worth more than being talked about,hes never ever been given his chance. I beleive that given his chance hed be better than moravcik for longer for us.....thats right lets sell him to blackpool for 500000 then theyll punt him for 5 10M after a good season just like they did with rankers(adam)

Believable1 Unbelievable7

No one doubts the undoubted natural ability that Paddy McCourt has , what lets him down is his lack of fitness , i thought Paddy had a good game yesterday , but i cant see him starting games regularly due to his inability to maintain his fitness .
