I remember those days all too well - especially the obnoxious Richard Park who's anti Celtic comments and opinions were notorious.
Big Jock was the man for the lot of them - and put a many of our media-based detractors and biased scribes in their place publicly and privately and we miss with someone of his stature and authority.

We were so successful because we didn't discriminate against anyone's religion, therefore we had the pick of the best players in the country, and didn't hold ourselves back with a sectarian policy like your old club did.

Guys I have told this story before about big Jock, if he thought a Scottish referee had been particulary biased against Celtic at the end of the game he would tell tea ladies not to put tea and biscuits etc out in the referees room, also in winter he would order the hot water turned off so said ref would have to shower in cold freezing water, they soon got the message to not mess big Jock and Celtic around.

Cee being as successful as Celtic have been is doubly enjoyable considering our honest endeavours compared to the cheating obnoxious 1872 club and the equally obnoxious but too early to be found out cheating by 2012 club .
Cee which club do you support the 1872 or the 2012.

There is cee but the difference is we can rise above it and still be successful if you know your history my friend.

i would call that luck Tony. The new club should have been denied entry to the league and a team like Spartans should've got their long awaited chance of admittance.
The newbies were treated with extreme bias but the fans will never say that. All you get from them is people kicked them when they were down. I think they should be very grateful for the leg up they got.

The whole thing is full of conundrums, why didn't the administrators sell of the movable assets to try to repay dome of the debtors, I don't know or understand how these things work, but I thought normally, the assets are sold of to give the debtors some sort of recompense, maybe someone out there can explain why Ibrox and Murray park weren't sold of, to repay some monies?

Aindoh, are you new to the happenings of Scottish Football. First the Administrators were the choice of Mr Whyte of Rangers . HMRC could have objected but at the time they had no reason . The administrators were told immediately by Scotland's First Minister that Rangers were important to Scotland in so many ways and they the Admins must do everything in their power to keep the club together . The SFA also spoke of Rangers importance, so this was no ordinary administration and we were left with the mess we are in.
