Hi Ed, Finally managed to get back in although slight name change and new password.
Not been able to comment for long enough so going to start by giving the Board the credit they are due. It's no secret how critical I had been of them but how they have changed from the minute Brendan walked through the door. PL allowing people to do the jobs they are employed to do. We are finally acting like a big club and what a chance we have this summer to build from a position of strength. A couple of signings to add to an already excellent squad full of guys playing for the shirt and some youngsters coming through we can all be proud of. Good times ahead on and off the park. I read a comment a few weeks back regarding the South Stand someone mentioned an increase to 90,000. A guy i get info from said the same time the hotel news was announced that the club are definitely looking into it, Maybe not 90,000 but a stand that will be 2 tiers with the top one being open for the big games. Champions League and Aberdeen. He also mentioned PL's Middle East trip might have something to do with naming rights to Stadium, Easy money! Hope this is true and the club make a statement. Keep the good news coming whilst we laugh at the other lot. Just a wee question for yourself who has been nothing but positive regarding McGregor, the lad can do no wrong at the moment and really is turning into a class act, 23 years old and holding his position in the team, scoring goals, beautiful footwork and link up play. What do you think he is currently worth?

Ed I'd like to post a photo of a flag I have do I just upload it in Sightings? It was given to me over 20 years ago and the guy at the time said he thought it might be 30+ years old. Maybe the older Gents could put a date to it.

After Celtic made a clean sweep of all the top awards at the PFA Player of the year awards, the Scottish head of the PFA Fraser Wishart issued the following statement.
"We must get back to good old Scottish values and only have Proddies nominated for these type of awards".

ED007, kind of Celtic related. I'm going to see U2 in July at Twickers and Croke Park. got me wondering. Why do we not have gigs at Paradise? Is it just not worth the hassle do you think? Policing, stewarding etc? Any big concerts here tend to be at that soulless, midden Hampden. Just wondering.
{Ed007's Note - Hampden costs less to hire, it's as simple as that, Davie, they undercut us and Ibrox for major events. I don't think Lawwell - the cost of repairs - and especially Rodgers would be happy with the damage to the pitch either.

Just read on another site how yesterdays game should spell the end for biton . i don't doubt this in a long term plan . but i thot he actually had a no bad game yesterday he kept the ball well and kept to simple passing apart from 1 dodgey pass from centre circle that hit the dugouts . did i have too many beers before the game yesterday (ive a bit of man flu also ) or was he mince . hail hail.

He's quite a tidy player Cha, he's just too slow in terms of pace, squeezing and moving the ball. Needs to go, in my opinion.

Bitton just isn't going to fit into what Brendan's trying to do im afraid! Far to slow on the ball and looks like he's half sleeping most of the time! Like miko said he's quite tidy on the ball when he's given acres of space to play in but under pressure he's woeful! And he's soft as silk to. any decent bid will surely be accepted.

When the nominations were announced, I thought MD was an absolute certainty - but when listening to the BBC Sportsound Podcast, they revealed that the players aren't actually told who is eligible/ of age, it's up to them to know, and that would have almost certainly counted against MD in the run up.
Not that KT didn't deserve it, especially as he missed 1/ 3rd through injury, I just thought it interesting!
