Tedbear, thought I would join in with some "banter" which you bears love, anyway did you hear that Celtic are letting about 8-10 players go, I thought pretty good squad trimming, until I learned Sally could be letting 22 players go....never mind wee Rhino is coming back.... LOL Timalloy

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Almost as hysterical as Gary Caldwell coming back Tim.
Just need "Big Mick" to complete the set, then Dundee Utd and Hearts might give you a decent challenge next season.
Come to think of it, with those two back we might even give you a game from time to time.

We will just need to trust lennon in signings. If we try get best from newcastle, we must trust the scouts they have brought us all these young tallented players in our team which never realy cost a lot of money and they must be worth at least three times more. Ed any news on hmrc rejecting cva from rangers. I am sure lennon will make right decisions with transferrs and will probably bring in guys we aint even really heard of. Eg hooper,izzi,kayal,ki,wanyama etc etc hail hail {Ed007's Note - There is nothing new about the CVA.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

I trust Lenny and John Park 100% but look at the last average EPL striker (Murphy) we paid good money for, still trying to get rid of him at this minute. Not convinced at all by Best, Rhodes and Rosenberg should be prioritised

Agree1 Disagree1

Rhodes , wigan norwich and wba and the likes are lookin at him , a think you will have to start lowering the bar mate regarding signing targets , am going with the way the posters on here are thinkin , and they are well clued up mate , there wont be any rangers according to you people on here , now if your a decent footballer with a good future your no gony come to celtic , for what , for people to say oh he won the league 5or6 times with celtic when its always goin to be said back , yes but there was no rangers about to make a challenge of it , nah its not goin to happen , its the same for lennon , its forever goin to be said if he was a good manager or a duff one , same again no opposition , yous are on the mney when it comes to tax and ebts and cvas but your missin the bigger picture in your exitement of rangers downfall , tedbear

Agree2 Disagree3

What difference does having no Rangers there make? There was a rangers last season n we didn't get a challenge for the title

ED007, BB, why not ask them all to "follow, follow" you on twitter...
and BB as regards getting things posted on bears site, ED001 is usually OK, as long as not offensive, the recent ED039, does not know meaning of Banter, and censors any micky taking, the poor bears are sensitive you know, just ask tedbear..
hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - We are not going down the route of slagging other Eds. Ed039 is still finding his feet, and you should see the stuff they delete about me. After that carry on last year Tim, let's just chill mate..remember the grief it all caused?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Point taken ED007, I will give ED039 benefit of doubt, as he is maybe erring on the side of caution, just think he has the "pleasure" of reading some of my jokes to come ha ha Timalloy

Can see where your coming from ed(s) you do these sites in your own time, time that you could be doing other things. think if your a out sider to the 'old firm' it could be a bit of a hand full.

im not being harsh dude, i'll give credit where its due, Cha can run for fun but he is brutal wen it comes to playin football, 1 out of every 20 crosses hit a celtic head or foot and when he came to taking a man on he just juddered a wee bit and gave the ball away 95% of the time. i do hope he does well but if he was tht bad in the spl then i dont seein him doing too good going back to the bundesleiga.....but......... thats just my opinion, and i may stand corrected. Sean {

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I watched him at first but what gets me is in this day & ages most if not all players are 2 footed might not be the best the weakest foot but least you could use it,all he done was runnnnnnn stop. try & play it on to his right foot & cross & as you say just run next to the ball & not take it glad hes away but think he will add....something to hsi new team lol

lenny

Agree1 Disagree0

Agathe was shocking at crossing too but we loved him.

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - Thank you JB!! At last someone says the same as me. That caused no amount of arguments with my mates. We were lucky the stadium was finished or Agathe would have 'Gumped it' and ended up at either Baird's or Hamilton Palace. He bought me a pint one night, well I say bought he asked what I was having, I said a Guinness, he picked up his beer, gave me a 'Cheers' signal and walked away!! The EU consumer watchdog BEUC have announced that testing has shown that nine of the sixteen first choice shirts of the Euro 2012 finalists contain "worrying" levels of chemicals and may pose a health risk.

Six of the shirts - Spain, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, France and Italy - were found to contain lead, a heavy metal, with the Spanish and German shirts (both adidas) carrying an amount exceeding the legal limit for children's products. The Portugal and Holland shirts (both Nike) were found to contain nickel.

The most dangerous shirt was that of Poland, with the BEUC statement saying that it should be "banned outright" as its levels of an organotin compound - included to reduce sweat odour - could be toxic to the nervous system.

adidas and Nike produce the majority of these shirts - four each - and Puma the only other implicated manufacturer, in the form of the Italy shirt. The only Euro 2012 manufacturer unaffected is Umbro, producing the playing wear of England, Ireland and Sweden.

BEUC director-general Monique Goyens said: "Football fans pay up to 90 euros (£73) for the shirt of their favourite team. The least they should expect is to have a quality and safe product.

"It is inexplicable that heavy metals are used in mass consumer products. It is clearly foul play by manufacturers to use substances harmful to both people and the environment.

"Our members' test results are a sad reminder that Europe's chemicals legislation is unfit for the purpose of banning dangerous substances from consumer products."

Ms Goyens said a plan to deal with "endocrine-disrupting chemicals" would be an opportunity for the EU to be on the offensive against harmful chemicals."

Believable1 Unbelievable0

At the price we pay they should be lined with gold ! I've already bought the Portugal (Nike) and Italy (Puma) strips and both are now 'wanting' France with Benzema on the back (Not happening) Mrs E

Agree4 Disagree0

I wonder if this is all to do with the recycled bottles idea that we done with the last home top? Can't believe some fans pay up to £73 for their tops so the £50 for ours at the moment is a bargain.lol

Jungle Bhoy. {Ed007's Note - The Man Utd top is made of recycled plastic this season JB, I told their fans to keep and eye on the quality.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey you ya auld scoundrel you wished benzeama wiz oan yur bak,
here iz that no ah creem?

Agree0 Disagree0

No I don't want Benzema on my back lol ;-)

JB..its over £80 for the full strip including the socks, shorts and a name on the back. Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

The original post said "Football fans pay up to 90 euros (£73) for the shirt of their favourite team."£73 for just the shirt, add shorts and socks and they must pay over £100 for full kit.I've heard of places selling Real Madrid + Barca tops for £95 each. It's to do with Nike's price increase that's why Man Utd and Arsenal's kits are the same price as ours.

Wigan is Gary Caldwell's level , Gary Hooper is far too good to go to Wigan , he wants to win trophies and play in the Champions League .... not fight relegation every season , he's not going to Wigan and Caldwell better not be coming back here .

Agree4 Disagree0

I lived in wigan for 20 years. Great place, great people, used to have the best rl Team in history then but am totally bemused that arsenal, man utd, Liverpool etc will play there next year. However they have a top manager and present a gerat opportunity for a young striker.

If Rangers are liquidated then BDO will be appointed by HMRC for the purpose of liquidation and which is agreed by Duff & Phelps.

The joint liquidators will be Malcolm Cohen and James Stephen of BDO.

So it looks as though an Ice Cream Cohen will liquidate Rangers after all.

K-Dot.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

A think youl find this is all part of the admin process , nothin to get aw moist about mate lol , tedbear

Agree0 Disagree3

Teadbear- you are partially correct in that it is part of the admin process, but it is not some sort of paper sifting excercise that has no consequences as you seem to suggest in your comment "nothing to get aw moist about".

It is something Rangers supporters should be very, very concerned about, because if Rangers enter this part of the process, as you call it, they end up liquidated.

Do you know what that means?

As I posted last night, and have now confirmed, if the CVA is accepted but then payment(s) fail within 3 months, or if Green walks away now, then HMRC will appoint BDO as liquidators.

HMRC have also taken steps to ensure that Green cannot automatically buy the assets of Rangers and set up a Newco if the CVA fails.

This is serious, serious, stuff. HMRC are preparing for liquidation.

Do you get this, if Green walks away, or his CVA fails, there will be no Blue Knights or any other Knights, it will be Nighty Knight, as BDO will be immediately appointed and Rangers will be liquidated immediately.

Are you telling me that you have every confidence that Green will achieve a CVA.

If he doesn't, then it is liquidation.

I suggest that instead of considering whether people are "getting aw moist or not", you should get a proper understanding of the situation, and perhaps start "sh1tting" yourself that you club is going to be liquidated very soon and it is not just some "admin process"

But I suppose I'm a Timmy and am just talking sh1te.

K-Dot

Agree7 Disagree0

I'm sure glad its not celtic. Up the tic.

the name of the BDO liquidators dermot. and shay. oh how the shame will love that ha ha ha

BDO's Dermot Power and Shay Bannon have been formally appointed as liquidators of Halliwells, as the winding-up of the failed Manchester law firm continues. The pair applied to be appointed as Halliwells' liquidators before Christmas, with CMS Cameron McKenna issuing a letter on their
behalf last month stating BDO's intention to end its appointment as administrator and instead take on the firm's compulsory liquidation.
The appointment last Thursday (12 January) means the pair are charged with managing the sale of assets and dealing with creditors'
claims and distributions.
It also gives them a wider range of powers than administrators - most notably allowing them to investigate company books for indications of fraudulent and/or insolvent trading.
For example, under the Insolvency Act former partners could potentially be liable to repay any drawings paid out from the limited liability
partnership in the two years before Halliwells went into administration in the summer of 2010.
At the time of its collapse Halliwells owed secured creditor Royal Bank of Scotland around £17.7m, with a progress report last July revealing that at that stage BDO had received claims from creditors worth £191.5m.
The appointment comes as 32 ex-Halliwells partners - including former chairman Ian Austin - prepare to enter mediation with BDO over its
bid to reclaim more than £21m the partners gained through a controversial "reverse premium" property payout.
The £24.5m payout was received in 2007 when the firm sold a stake in the freehold of its new office in Spinningfields, Manchester. The equity partners then distributed the money among themselves - a move that has been critised for contributing to the firm's subsequent problems and ultimate collapse.
BDO launched its claim in the High Court in July, with the partners agreeing to enter mediation with the intention of settling out of court. The first meeting is expected to take place this spring.

don't know if this has been posted.... if your a shame lurker please look away now. thank you.

The crisis at Rangers deepened last night as HMRC appointed their liquidator to prevent an asset sale to a newco in the event of Charlie Green's CVA proposals being rejected.
With more than 25% of the club debt HMRC- and Ticketus- have the power to veto Green's plan which would see creditors receive a maximum of nine pence in the pound.
Duff and Phelps have already paved the way for a £5.5m sale of the club assets, mainly Ibrox Stadium and Murray Park, to Green if the CVA fails with the former Sheffield United chief ready to go to the SPL to plead for the transfer of the share held by the 1872 version of Rangers.
With the assets of Rangers recently valued at over £100m HMRC have appointed insolvency specialists BDO to step in if the CVA fails.
The move by HMRC was uncovered by STV News and throws the plans of Green, working hand in hand with Duff and Phelps, into chaos.
Yesterday Duff and Phelps confirmed the move by HMRC in a statement sent to creditors who will meet on Thursday June 14 to vote on the CVA proposal.
Duff and Phelps have already nominated themselves as liquidators of Rangers but the move by HMRC to bring in BDO will ensure an auction of assets to raise as much money as possible to be split among the creditors.
Rangers have over 300 trade creditors, including football clubs in Scotland, England, Italy, France, Sweden and Austria.

Mr Green, The One Suit Man

His millions now are thousands or say the papers say
With major shareholders warning, forget the CVAs.

Meetings after meetings with the outcome never heard
Fans waiting, always waiting, like boy scouts, be prepared

To hear headlines from one meeting, we'll rename Murray Park
Apart from that there's nothing, they're still left in the dark

What strategies have you on board, tell them of your plans
Or will you walk away from this and wash your dirty hands ?

Headlines after headlines, there's never anything new
The same old dross is just rejigged and thats all down to you now

A u-turn on a punishment ? To save you further shame
Or are you trying to bury them and make yourself a name ?

Is steve clarke coming to celtic to work under neil lennon? If not, why not?

Believable0 Unbelievable6

He is away to west brom to be manager. johnbhoy79

Agree5 Disagree0

He,s no comin because anyone with any decent quality will not come here to the spl , get used to it bhoys , this is what you all hope for,a league without rangers is a league that only celtic can win , who the f--- in their right mind would want to come here under those circunstances , certainly no one with quality thats for sure , but hey , thats what you all want , tedbear

Agree0 Disagree7

To tedbear laudrup, gascoigne,de boer, van bronckhorst, amoruso, etc etc all came to a league that one team was only going to win.be concerned about your own teams
problems of which there are many with the probability of more to come and let me and all other celtic fans follow our team who conducted their business within the law regardless of who we sign

Agree4 Disagree1

Tedbear to you think gattuso (spelling) will enjoy going to annan, east stirling, montrose etc etc as he's desperate to sign and he's got no class but then again that wont happen as liquidation is on its way heeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaa,
davy

Agree4 Disagree0

Be concerned about my own teams problems , do you not actually read any posts on here pal , 95% of the pos are about the biggest club in scotland ( rangers ) , have a wee think about what you post mate , a understand you can get a bit carried away in your delight a the gers plight , thats fair enough , tedbear

Guttuso will not be coming back to rangers , dont fret mate , tedbear

Tedbear. Biggest club in Scotland?????

He he he. Can I have whatever yor drinking please??

Hoopey 67

How are rankers the biggest club in Scotland how many European cup finals has rankers been in how many European cup semi finals as your tiny club been in and I don't mean that diddy cup winners thing I mean the big cup. also inter milan where a get side when we beat them in the most one sided European cup finals ever. with Celtic having 47 shots to inters. 8/9 shots

so before you post drivel check your facts CELTIC are THE biggest side in Scotland. also not one of our titles is tainted how many of yours are .......oh and we are not the establishment. club who the sfa and spl are bending over backwards to help.

hail hail

Marco1888

Agree3 Disagree1

So i take it marco that notts forest are a much bigger club than celtic , another one who dosent realise what he,s posting , tedbear

Agree1 Disagree2

Once again pot and kettle spring to mind tedbear every day the same drivel

Agree2 Disagree1

It doesnt even matter about the scottish league on that level. Only two teams can realisticly win the league and even at that rangers had to cheat to win it more times than celtic. The champions cup is the biggest prize in club football which rangers never have or will get their hands on! The old firm thing usually evens itself out over time but this is one thing that rangers will never equal. Celtic winning the european cup is the greatest moment in scottish football history from what i can recall and it should be celebrated as that.

Agree1 Disagree1

And where has it been written proved or ruled by anyone that rangers cheated , you seem to be another one of these postsers coming on all kinda drama queenish about rangers , you keep using the word cheated wen its not been proved , face facts mate , rangers have won more trophys than any club in the world and its hurting you so much that it comes across in your post by using words like cheated , when you know its not true coz hasn,t been proved , but am sure if you keep sayin it youl create this w
myth , tedbear

Agree1 Disagree1

I only used the word cheat once in my post bud. Im not trying to create any myth, its a bit more than a myth to be fair though. You missed the point of my post i think. I was talking about the greatest moment in scottish football history and now youre calling me a drama queen because youre having a nervous breakdown about youre team disappearing. I dont blame you its getting to breaking point for a few bears lately imo, one of my rangers fan mates is the same hes showing all the early symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder these days. A young man struck down in his prime! Tragic

Agree0 Disagree0

No stress here mate , my team will be fine even if it means 3d division , at the end of the day a titles a title on our cv , spl or div 3 its still a title id we win it , a couple of years to build back up , one thing mate every member of my supporters club have pledhed to stand by their club , stress mate , i love cmin on here as ive never known a teams fans to go on more about their greatest rivals than their own team , the only stress levels a can see is on here and its quite enjoyable , tedbear

Agree0 Disagree2

Im glad your not stressed mate lol. you seem to have a habit of telling people they contradict themselves on theyre posts mate. maybe you should think about this as you do a bit yourself ie saying your here for rangers news and post on all matters celtic, ireland and even big sammy. you seem to think your getting under the champions skin, when your being laughed at for posting like a ten year old. keep plehding your support to the good cause rangers though they deserve you and all others like you my friend!
