does anyone else think sevco are raising money the wrong way , £17m {aye right} from tens or hundreds of thousands of fans , fans who dont have any more money to invest after their initial outlay. why dont they just do what we done and do it the easy way . get £30m for being one of the top 16 teams in europe . easy no begging or anything. shammy

Believable5 Unbelievable7

Didnt celtic do share issues to their fans to raise funds also or am i missing something... {Ed007's Note - Yes and yes.}

Agree5 Disagree3

Ed ,i must be making my wind ups too cryptic , takes the fun away when they bite for the wrong reason.. shammy {Ed007's Note - He is probably sitting, picking flies out his hair, trying to work out why I answered twice.}

Agree6 Disagree2

@1 Yes Celtic supporter's DID do it, Rangers supporter's did not, that's why they are now called THE RANGERS.
Tambhoy {Ed007's Note - To double your money, do you think that is all he is missing Tam, or is that only part of his underlying problems?}

Agree4 Disagree4

Didnt the celtic supporters do it after mccann saved the club, not before

Agree3 Disagree1

Naw ED he is a retired RANGERS supporter.
Tambhoy {Ed007's Note - It was nice of them to have an anniversary party yesterday, it was rather touching, like watching a widow put flowers on her husband's grave for his birthday.}

Agree3 Disagree3

Got to say i particularly enjoyed the Stirling Albion supporters yesterday, they had cards that read "140 days more like".

see newco had a panic again today against 10 men for the 4th game in a row with a late goal guess that why they get spl refs every week

Believable9 Unbelievable2

If Sevco are getting non standard sfl3 refs every week, then the tournament is compromised.
If the opposition has been reduced to 10 men for the fourth week running and they win by a late goal it's a corruption.

Agree9 Disagree3

The referees are so poor in scotland its hard to differentiate between which league they are for.

Rangers were already winning prior to the red card.

Maybe opposition are lacking the fitness of a full time team and as such have lazy tackling in games? Or do you just spew garbage to suit your anti rangers agenda.

Corruption? Did you actually see the games, see the fouls or do you go by statistics.

Agree3 Disagree5

I go by being a fifty something man who has spent a lifetime in Scotland watching refs and linesmen hand titles to rangers little by little across whole seasons.

Rangers were gifted at least 8 points on Lennys first season. Celtic not winning at Inverness shouldn't have made a difference, they had more points than any previous 5 years but officials had ensured Rangers walked away from games with three points in certain games .

Rangers at Inverness in the run in was a travesty of honesty, gaining a non existent late penalty, to walk away with three points. Every sports commentator in Scotland said it was blatantly wrong and one suggested corrupt.

Agree6 Disagree5

There were a few other belters aswell mate. One of my personal favourites was the refereeing performance of Willie Collum at Hamilton when we drew 1-1. There goal from a free kick were a centre half already 2 yards offside, ran as the kick was taken straight across Forsters line of sight but also deflected the ball past him into the net was the easiest offside decision I have ever seen. Collum also sent Forrest off when it was never a red, booking and no more. But the offside was suspect...I haven't forgotten it because it stuck in my mind watching the replay and clearly seeing the linesman AND referee were both looking at what I was watching. That and the penalty Collum didn't even see we're 2 seriously suspect decisions.

Agree6 Disagree2

Not forgetting Mr Collum awarding a penalty to Rangers at Celtic Park when Kirk Clubfoot blatantly dived and he himself had his back to the incident and clearly didnt see it .

Everybody knows Jim Traynor is a Celtic fan. Everybody knows he's no fool and a very smart guy.

Regarding the Noddygate scandal with Chick Young. Jabba was not defending Rangers nor Alastair Johnson. Quite the opposite. He was deliberately keeping the nod at the forefront of the news/ media to get the point out over and over again that Rangers COULD GO BUST. Listen to it again from that angle- obvious.... All deliberate.

Believable4 Unbelievable10

Ach who cares, a tabloid 'journalist' as head of communications. Yip..that's about the level needed. Mrs E

Agree8 Disagree1

OP IF and I repeat IF he is a Celtic supporter, he is a sorry excuse for a human being.
Tam

Agree7 Disagree0

Gifting Rangers the three points corruptly at Inverness delivered the title to them on its own.

Have Sevco / Zobie Rangers been going for 140 days now? Seems a strange milestone to celebrate but each to their own!

This is for stevie the black sock hater , look at the statistics for this season so far .
PLAYED WON LOST DRAWN
WHITE SOCKS 15 12 1 2
BLACK SOCKS 15 6 5 4
Now all you guys and girls who think me and stevie are nuts , yes I know there are
Exceptions because there are exceptions to every rule , like today for example . But
these numbers are fact.
I would say our worst results this season were 1-2 vs. st. j ... 0-2 vs. killie 0-1 vs.
Ict and the 1-1 draw with Arbroath , all in black socks .
Our best 2-1 vs. barca , 2-1 vs. spartak , 4-0 vs. hearts , 2-0 vs. dons all in white
Socks , I would also like to point out in three of the four qualifiers against Helsinki
And helsingborgs we wore white socks .. So for all you out thre who disagree do
Not call me crazy or nuts . You can of course call me very very sad for going to all
The bother of doing this research . shammy

Believable12 Unbelievable1

I know sometimes I don't always follow the story Shammy but we don't have white socks at all this season lol

The blacks socks have us in the last 16 of the CL with the most points by a Scottish team EVER ~ Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree1

For goodness sake please drop this colour of socks crap that appears on here on a regular basis, performances have absolutely nothing to do with the colour of socks,
to be honest its become tedious jimbhoy.

I see jabba is living the dream, and has turned a hobby into a career.
Ticman

Believable8 Unbelievable1

As soon as we read his parting column in the daily rangers last Monday, we all posted he was off to new sevco.
Dedicated his whole life to producing pro shame spin. A liar and deceiver. He'll fit in there.

Now we have a SevcoRangers Director who has written categorically at least three times its a new club with no history.

'Why Im leaving journalism....' Ended up being a total lie. Rubbishing other hacks and their professionalism when his reason for leaving journalism was to improve Charles Green's PR efforts.

This is going to be a great laugh. Green's biggest error yet. Jabba has no credibility on any level. {Ed007's Note - It isn't right to laugh at people less fortunate than yourself, especially at this time of year.}

Agree7 Disagree2

Traynor is a well known Celtic fan. Always has been. Don't expect him to give that up.
In whose universe is this tabloid hack a Director of Communications? Given he's slagged off bloggers, slammed the internet, other journalists, etc...
He's disingenuous at best. Wrong move Charles. Who's pulling Charles' strings?

I'll eventually be hailed a hero by all Rangers fans.- Craig Whyte.

SDM behind everything. Not even hiding it now. Why isn't Murray Park renamed?

Have heard that Jim Traynor will be announced as The Rangers new Director of Communication at some point today. I wonder who arranged that job for him?

Believable4 Unbelievable1

It should be Director of Propaganda as he's got the look of Goebbels about him.

We were told the FTTT was won and Walter and Park joined the board. Share issue was to be 17th December.
Now HMRC appealling Walter saying he's not taken up Directorship.
First it was Hokey Cokey bids now Hokey Cokey Directors and share issues.

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Paul mcconnvlle has written a piece on this subject , honestly , way above my head , something to do with not registering at companies house 14 days prior to naming him as a director . i think it may have been illegal what they tried to do. naw surely they wouldn't ......... maybe one of you guys or you bond can explain what he means .. shammy

Agree4 Disagree2

Both those guys were Directors of old historical Rangers as was John Greig, as that football club is being liquidated in shame NO director is allowed to be a Director of another Association football club for minimum 5 years. So what's going on with the rule breaking?

Agree6 Disagree2

They both left the board prior to rangers entering administration so they haven't done anything wrong?

Agree1 Disagree3

Not according to companies house they were still listed directors.

Just like to congratulate the rangers celebrating 140 odd days of history today....col

Believable12 Unbelievable3

I was telling my mate that it must be the wake. They are celebrating the life of their horrendous past. They can celebrate all they want about 140 years, this is year 1 of their new horrendous beginning. Just remember sevco, you are a long time dead.

Agree4 Disagree2

They didn't make it to 140 years.
I remember them all crying the day the decision was taken to pull the plug.

Agree6 Disagree3

Actually, they can celebrate 140 years as historical Rangers founded in 1872 and incorporated 1899 is not liquidated yet. What they celebrate is Craig Whytes club being liquidated by BDO. Certainly not Charles Green's new sevco club.
That's actually the official legal position. Even though the historical club hasn't played football for several months and its players all walked away to other clubs.

ed , just checking if i've got this right, the cup tie at tannadice is a charity match and they're boycotting it , how typical is that. doing the charities out of around £25,000.. i know what i'd be hoping for if i was a united fan. a draw and beat them at the asbestos arena . if they boycott that one they would be out of pocket for police, stewards electricity etc . if they are as usual two faced, and turn up united get 40% and therefor don't lose very much over the two legs. shammy

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Just beat them 8-0 and humiliate them.
Might have just got another wee fourth tier team with a smaller support in the draw anyway....... So zero loss.

If all teams think of a zero The Rangers Sevco away support, then there's no loss.

Agree4 Disagree1

Don't let them have an additional home game this season to bring in more money.

Agree0 Disagree1

United will thrash them and they will look very foolish. Or they might win the game without a fan in the ground. Which ?

I see in yesterday's paper Oliver Holt had a two page write-up on why the the English leagues should accept the Scottish teams, suggesting top 4 Scottish sides joining league 1, next 4 joining league 2 and remaining 4 joining league 3. The celt's champs league performance has certainly captured the English media's attention - this is the second write-up in the last few weeks suggesting the English leagues would definitely benefit from the introduction of Celtic.

T

Believable4 Unbelievable2

It would be good if it happened however I'm tore between it.its been talked about for so long now and all English teams said no.on the other hand heard from a strong source at the time it really depends on sky as they are the money men and play a part.

In all honestly if it did ever happen then it would be great but it would be pot kettle black we would need to start from the bottom bit like rangers.

Too many ifs and buts so could go on forever so I won't

Lenny

Agree1 Disagree0

The bottom 10 teams couldnt afford the travelling and hotels. Neither would their supporters. Zero away support.
