To me brown looks either injured or knackered! Just always looks a yard off the pace for me.and how James Morrison plays regularly in the EPL I'll never know! Woeful doesn't even begin to describe the guy! Against Georgia and tonite! It was a decent effort against arguably the worlds best team! But the damage was done on Friday I'm afraid! Another tournament missed! We just lack that guy up front to bang in the goals! Look at the 3 other teams,Keane lewandowski muller! 3 guys who bang in goals! We don't have that! Wales are the same with bale! And dare I even say NI have got that half wit scoring for them! And I'm not saying for a minute he's a good player! Before anyone starts lol! Just saying all these guys score goals! We can't do that

Scotland won't score goals as long as they rely on the numpty fletcher he's hopeless how he's made the money he has out the game amazes me over rated big numpty!hos goals record for a number 9 is shocking!

A good result for the ROI and a big improvement in performance from Scotland
Scotland should get a lift tonight in their quest to get 4 points minimum against Gibralter away and Poland at home . I don't think ROI will pick up anymore points and 4 points will put you in a play off .

You will have to manage without my wit and wisdom for a week as I am away on holidays. Beat the bloody sheep on Saturday .

Years ago Willie Ormond was the Scottish team manager,i was in my teens but the thing that stuck with me about him was that he picked his team on the players that were playing well for their own teams ,he did'nt bother about big reputations or previous performanses,he just went with the players who had the best current form, maybe my memory is deluding me but that is the difference with WGS team, his team selection baffles me,he is very good at motivating players but I think his managerial limit is some where below middlesborogh,in fact I can't fathom who is worse him or Ronnie,

Why is Charlie Mulgrew allowed to hit direct free kicks on goal. You are lucky if he scores one free kick every couple of years. Scott Brown needs a spell on the bench for club and country, things are just getting worse performance wise for him if he was a dog he would be put down!

Maloneys free kick that resulted in the og wasnt much better to be fair. The sweeper keeper should of caught it!

The more frightening aspect for me is how manager after manager sees anything in James Forest . He really is one of the worst players I've ever seen . He's more interested in his hair than he is playing football

Whats the assessment of the celtic lads tonight? For me brown- done a job and took part, forrest- hardly a kick of the ball and chucky - ill let others run the rule over his performance. It has been a spirited attempt and that's just my tab. didn't think we would score so its better than I thought.

Frankie Boyle once called Scott Brown a dog.

{Ed007's Note - {Ed007's Note - Somebody somewhere called called Frankie Boyle funny - and it was probably him!}

German third goal. Brown loses runner one who collects through ball. Runner one then plays it back the way to browns new man runner two. Brown misses him again. Brown is having a very poor run of form. Twice he could have made life difficult and he fails. Mulgrew for second goal needs to pass on centre half and drift towards his actual position. He doesn't. Less said about forest the better Can griffiths make some kind of impact?

Germans have never had it so easy and yet have conspired to concede two

It's hard watching second rate ps Marshall all over the place too.

Russell Martin only player with pass marks for me

Didnt think brown lost him he was the only player trying to put any pressure on him after chasing back.

Unfortunately - as much as it bursts ma bum to admit it; not one of the Celtic players have played well tonight.
However Stephen Fletcher has been abysmal and wee Morrison is a baw hair away from a red card and they stay on the park?
Germany are a cut above and just seem to go up the gears when required, but like Celtic against Malmo it has been self inflicted with far too many basic mistakes.
Marshall has not looked too clever either by the way.
Anyway, another tournament without Scotland in the finals.

Aw stop going on about Scott Brown playing world champions would give any team the run around there class. Its Scotland glorious failure

Think that's harsh on Brown, I don't know if any team/players can compete with them just now. Remember all these guys are world cup winners and CL winners, most of our players don't even get to play in Europe and Brown is in a team who can't get to CL.
Incidently since you have brought up people making mistakes, does Neuers performance make Craig Gordon world class?
Twice he was at fault for the goals, one for parrying straight out to hit his own player ffs. The other flapping about with no idea where the ball is and practically goes in the middle of the goal. Can you imagine if CG done this lol. Now if parrying is all CG is going to get criticised then he doing the exact same as Neuer, Courtois, Hart etc and they are considered world class. And I cudnt count the mistakes I have seen from these 3 guys in he last year. PS did anyone see the double save against ST.Johnstone.

You need to bore off now! This is getting tiresome

07 Sep 2015 22:45:35
This is a preposterous argument. Some Celtic fans are now so intent on criticising their own players they are using a narrow defeat against the world champions to attack our players. Call yourself what you like but don't call yourself supporters of Celtic football club all you seem interested in doing is making whipping boys out of our players, really your views should be taken for what they are, infantile and uninformed rubbish which needs to be ignored

Agree1 Disagree1

07 Sep 2015 22:59:40
Is there any wonder our captain gets far more than his share of abuse from the Scottish fans . To read some comments you would think that he was the only Scottish player on the park , as no one else is mentioned .

Well said Groutdoc getting sick of this constant slagging of our own players , thought Mulgrew had a good game tonight and I think Broony is carrying an injury and needs a couple of weeks break

Having a laugh?? Both lads schweinstager and kroos are superstars compared to Scott Brown. They both play at teams we cannot compete with. Its not surprising he didn't have good game!

Cant understand the sudden campaign against Brown. He is a great player for us! Give the bhoy a break lads

2 bets that stand out for me tonight
Muller to score, over 10 corners and 30 or more booking points 4/1
Brown and Hutton both to be booked 100/30
Not being disloyal, I am firmly in the Republic of Ireland camp COYBIG

What's everyone's thoughts on Samaras?

For me thought he was great when used well.

He is, I believe a free agent at moment? What's the thoughts/ chances of a return?
